We used to go to Soul Fish for fried catfish, which is excellent, but fattening. Then we decided to try the blackened catfish. Ohhhh! Two big fat fillets that were much less fattening than the fried. I usually ask for the lightly blackened. My husband and I have traveled all over Europe and the world. We just got back from 23 days in South Africa. I truly love this place. They have some of the best fish in the city. They also have other options on the menu that's really good if you don't want fish. Service is outstanding, great atmosphere.

i really liked this restaurant!! i got the fish and shrimp dinner with mac and cheese and it was not to disappoint!! the mac and cheese was very very good and same with my fish. my only complaint was the cornbread. it was very hard and dry. for dessert my family shared a banana cake which was one of the best desserts i’ve had in a while. it tasted just like banana bread!! the workers were very kind and i recommend eating here!!
