“This place was pretty good! I got the crab rangoon, chicken salad, and 2 rolls for $30. I love how the chicken came separately from the salad so if you weren't ready to eat it, nothing got soggy. The food was ready pretty quickly and it tasted yummy. The inside was a super cute walk up counter with a few tables to sit at if you decide to dine in.“
“I have been to an array of buffets, but this one by far has had the most variety of food I have ever experienced. My favorite dish was the cabbage. I know it's a side dish, but it was the star ?. I actually ate 4 bowls of it ?. The varieties of chicken and beef were amazing as well. The crawfish had flavor but was extremely spicy. Don't get me wrong, I am from Alabama and love a spicy crawfish, but it was jam-packed with jalepeños in the boil itself. This was a first for me, but I still ate them all mouth burning and all . I wasn't a fan of the sushi. I didn't like the choice of meat with the filling of the sushi. The fried chicken wings and drums! They were the second star of the show. They were seasoned like my granny's; I thoroughly enjoyed them. Dumplings were also chefs kiss. I could go on and on, but overall, the food was superlative. The service was great. It took some time to get a refill, but I believe it was because they were so busy. Once things got quieter, the server was exceptional. Refills back to back and dishes on the table were taken out accordingly. Outstanding experience here. I will most certainly be back. I urge anyone to come gather an opinion about this restaurant. I believe it's worth it.“
“Red ninja is my new favorite sushi joint. First, the staff is very friendly and attentive. Its normally not crowed ( which is why I hesitate to write this review ) the sushi is very fresh, the wasabi is good, and his creations are unique. Red Ninja also has fair pricing, now a days its hard to find a sushi roll for less than $15 yet I don't think one roll on his menu is over $15 and most of the basic items are less than $9. Keep up the good work and I'll keep coming!“
“First trimester has me limited on food. Last night I was feeling so awful. Nothing heavy sounded good. Looked up places near us & they came up. It was 10/10 what my belly needed. The sticky rice was amazing , the miso soup was SO good. Got sushi too & didn't get a chance to eat it but excited for it today. Also, appreciate their side options. My kiddo wouldn't eat a full meal but the side option allowed us to get her something she actually would. 10/10 will eat again when in the area! Also appreciated the to go option & the wait time wasn't bad.“
“O-Ku is my absolute favorite restaurant EVER! I take all my friends and family and it’s the best spot for a romantic date! The food is always so delicious and beautifully presented. The whole atmosphere is wonderful and the staff is the best service I’ve ever had. Everyone is so nice, helpful, and genuinely friendly. My favorite servers all work here and I’m not the only regular who would say the same. I love you O-Ku Nashville! Shout out to some great servers I’ve had and highly recommend: Leah (the cool environmental enthusiast), Chance (the jokester with the biggest smile), and Ally (the crafty gal with the coolest handmade earrings and the sweetest heart). Food recommendations: PLEASE try the omokase. It is a 6 course tasting meal that is different every time you come in. I’ve had the best dishes from this meal and the nigiri are always so delicious. But honestly, I recommend anything and EVERYTHING. To start- king pao Cauliflower. Hot dish- get the Tokyo chicken bowl. Sashimi- the usuzukari or hamachi carpachio. From the robata grill- kamo negi (duck breast). A sushi roll- the playboy. Also the have O-toro, Uni, and so many specialty fishes like kin medai and shima aji!!!!“
“For the best eating experience in town' look no further... Habachi Jr. is the place. Always consistently cooked food's great service in a clean environment' priced right' and so well managed' so simply put... the best restaurant in town. Thanks everyone!Parking: Always available.Kid-friendliness: Enough table space for the younger aged kids' and moms have enough arm room to care for the kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of required space needed for those with a handicap or special assistance needs.“
“At thirty dollars per person, I should have left happier. Everything had spice on it even if it wasn't in the description. I hate spicy Mayo and it kept coming out on every roll - even when not described on menu. We felt forced to eat it after the no-wasting comments, so my kid just had some miso, chicken and fries for $30!!!“
“On sunday @ noon maybe the music was a bit too loud? Otherwise a nice place. We both had a bento box. Plenty of sushi to choose from but it looks like they also cater to the "I want sugary goop on my sushi" crowd. Which kind of defeats the purpose in my opinion.“
“Stopped by on sunday with mt fiance we loved it. Best sushi and miso ive had in awhile i can not wait to come back this weekend to try out more of the menu. Even though were not from gallatin its worth the hour drive from bowling green for us.“
“Just went for the first time, it’s 1 minute away from my house and I was not disappointed, came at nine, they close at 10. I got the spicy tuna, spicy yellowtail, and salmon avocado and everything was delicious. I will definitely be back. I recommend this place!!“
“The portions are quite large. We ordered Pad Thai and Basil Shrimp. The basil shrimp had a large variety of vegetables in it and a lot of shrimp. I gave 4 stars because the menu does not have descriptions of the ingredients or how the dish is prepared.“
“We love this restaurant! We went around 7pm on a Wednesday, and were seated right away. The service is excellent and they are very attentive. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box and my husband got beef bulgogi bento box. When I say it's a bunch of food, trust me! There's sooooo much! Each box comes with your choice of 4 rolls, we both got the California roll, veggie and shrimp tempura, soup and salad, two crab cream cheese rolls, rice and your entree. All of the items were delicious! It was so much food, that we took all of our many entrees home. The leftovers were delicious too! The restaurant has plenty of parking, and a decent amount of tables. There is seating around the sushi bar too! We will be back!“
“I’ve come here a few times now and familiar with the other location/ food truck. I was extremely impressed each visit in the quality of the food, the customer service, and overall feeling of cleanliness and quality demonstrated by the staff! If you are in the area I highly recommend trying, especially the spicy fried rice!“
“Bento box was good. Very fresh and hot. The sushi roll included was great, and I wished I only Gotten that after I tasted it. My husbands steak bento wasn’t great, but everything else in the box was delicious. Definitely recommend the California “
“If I’m being honest, this is one of my favorite restaurants in East. It might not be a fine dining restaurant, or somewhere with staple items, but it delivers in all categories with high marks. To start, I believe the servers name was Danielle? I’m not sure. Every time I’m in there, she greets me with a smile, and shares her great knowledge of the menu all while being timely with service! Props to her! If you want a full meal for a great price, the Shinguru is an amazing choice. Not pictured is the miso soup (which is NOT the poorly executed version prepared at other restaurants), a salad, and then a random creation of whatever the chef has in mind for your roll. The roll is large, imagine 2 rolls put together with crispy toppings, as seen on mine. To wrap up my analysis of the food, the are extremely considerate of allergies. I asked and the informed me that they use no nuts in the entire restaurant (which I appreciate). The atmosphere is underrated. Usually there is a mix of some house or edm remixes that fit the lively vibe. If you’re looking for a quick meal in a great environment, I would recommend Nomzilla!Dietary restrictions: Mentioned above, I have a nut allergy and they do not have nuts in any part of the restaurant.“
“Great little sushi place with a lot of variety on the menu. Sushi was excellent, Hibachi wasn't bad either. My wife said the shrimp & the filet in her hibachi was a little overcooked, but it was still an enjoyable dining experience.“
“I ordered delivery from an app. The order arrived piping hot and the container was full. I was so surprised by the quality, it was so delicious! The rice and vegetables with yum yum sauce and the steak were so good. I would not get the chicken again, it was a weird texture to me. It was overshadowed by how good the steak was, so next time I’ll order just steak. Give this place a try if you’re looking for great, quick hibachi in the Nashville area!“
“Love this little spot! Just ask your waiter if the dish can be made vegan. I don't think can make vegan for all dishes, but quite a few options. I always get some noodle dish and with their Jasmine rice. They also serve alcohol and have sushi! Updated from previous review on 2024-04-06“
