I was in and out in no time, and I tipped them way above standard because they went the extra mile. I'm in this area once a week, and this will be my lunch stop ?. And to all those at the back of house what great food!This was our first night in Nashville and I have to say James Hideaway set the bar very high! If you have never been to Nashville I recommend you save this as the best place for last. We had the whiskey dinner, that paired with the live music was a phenomenal experience. “Oh my goodness! I'm very late to this party! Only heard about this restaurant the morning we went. Monell's was absolutely delicious! The cheese grits are fantastic. We got our order to go but I'm going back to have the full dine-in experience. I can't wait! 5 stars well deserved. 2024 update: I'm sad to hear that this beloved mansion will be torn down. “EVERY SINGLE PART of my birthday dinner last night was exceptional! From crafted cocktails, crispy avocado rice, bacon wrapped dates, lamb that melted in your mouth, so much of the newly crafted autumn menu that we were able to enjoy, plus staff that made us feel like we were the most important people in the room (we are talking especially about you, Ally!). “My husband and I Stopped in here for something to eat after shopping and it was not crowed. Afterwards it appears traffic picked up. The food and service was good, my drink was not good. So the next time we are in Nashville I won't get the Tea. Overall, good experience.“

“Arguable the best spot in BNA. Live music, and the good is pretty good. Got the nachos and the Mack burger which both were solid, and the tex mex salad was good too. Not cheap, but what is in the airport. We come back often when passing through. Almaz provided solid service too.“

“This was such an easy place to bring our family! Something delicious for everyone, the food was quick, and the young man at the register was so impressive. He was attentive, happy, and juggling a lot of things but still prioritized taking care of everyone. He even asked the kitchen to add some extra heat/spice to my husband’s wings, and he loved them. He is exactly what every company needs up front, making everyone feel welcome and comfortable. Definitely recommend this place!“

“It has been a while since we tried Jake's Place.. I was pleased at the offerings on the menu; fish had hushpuppies with it, slaw available, and of course, french fries were on the menu. I can't remember if there were white beans or not, and I like white beans or baked beans with my fish. The fish was really good with no "muddy" flavor, and the portion was plentiful. Their burger was good. It did seem a little higher priced than other similar food options. What will possibly prevent me from returning is the vibe that I got from the tin pan and basket on which the food was served. Also, the "hushpuppies" didn't seem to have any onions in them, and they were a "sweet" cornbread, which I have never had in hushpuppies before. If these two things were changed as well as the huge potholes in the back parking lot, I would be excited about Jakes' Place as another meat and 3 option.“

“First time having dinner at Uncle Bud's. The catfish & shrimp dinner was well seasoned. The extra fixings you receive was a great southern twist. Server Olivia Noel was very friendly and attentive to us especially for a busy Saturday night. When in Nashville again I will return.“

“A leisurely lunch was shared with my sister. We enjoyed a window view of the Cumberland River. The noise level was perfect for conversation and reminiscing. Our waitress, Kaylee, was attentive to our needs and answered all of our questions regarding the menu. For those raised in the South, this is clearly a taste of back home.“

“The chicken and sides were delicious. The mild chicken was very flavorful. The medium chicken was also very flavorful with just the right amount of heat. My wife and I didn't try the hot because we thought it would be to hot and I would not enjoy it. The sweet tea was perfect.Great food at a good price. “One of a kind retro diner with a great selection of food and even greater prices but what makes this even better is the nostalgia it brings back if your from Nashville. I don’t believe it has changed that much since they opened it. The way I think about it and the family who runs it, it’s just a labor of love. We really enjoyed our meal and look forward to coming back again!“

Had him write his name on a paper and placed it on a wall so everyone can see. We will come back when we will be close to Nashville.“

“I bought the bar b que chicken salad and the buffalo chicken salad. Both of which I have bought numerous times before. The bar b que chicken salad was great but the buffalo chicken salad was so hot I could not eat it. I expect it to be spicy but this was way over board. “My husband and I love this place! We go there all the time. Our favorite is the turkey and dressing and apple pie. I highly recommend trying both! “10/10! I was craving catfish & found this gem! This was my first time eating at Bones. I called in my order over the phone, the lady that took my order was patient & friendly! I got the catfish plate, double spaghetti, & the fruit tea! (Lol, I’ve never had fruit tea before but it was GOOD!!) I should’ve gotten a large. Food was a GREAT amount for the price. “Great find! Their food is delicious, the portion sizes are excellent, and the employees are so friendly and warm. I had the meatloaf with brussel sprouts and broccoli salad and it was amazing.Parking: It is a little tight, especially for a big pickup truck, but I think there are are adequate number of spaces for a typical lunch crowd“

“We always like the food at PDK but today we had an experience worth sharing. They were busy with the after church crowd so our food took a little long. “Located at the very end of concourse D, this is a bit out of the way for most flights. It’s well worth it though. Great vibe, service, and food.We were surprised airport food could be real “date night” quality.You do need to make sure you have time though. Took about 40m to get our food. Luckily we got to the airport super early for our flight as we like to have buffer.“

“This place is exactly what you think when you think “Southern Charm”. The outside of the restaurant is gorgeous. The place looks like a country farm house with a wraparound porch. Inside decor is rustic and has that country charm. All wood paneling and rocking chairs galore. The service was excellent. Our waiter was prompt and attentive. The food itself was delicious. We started with Cole Slaw and a raw onion salad drizzled in a Vinaigrette dressing. Both were absolutely delicious. We followed this with the fried dill pickle and onion ring sampler. Both appetizers were better than we could have expected. The crunch of the breading along with the choice of seasonings used gave a perfect balance to the dill pickle chips. The crunch of the onion ring crust was on point. Next we dug into the main entree. The red feather sampler was more than enough food for my wife and I. The platter included two huge portions of fried catfish, 2 equally large boneless fried chicken breasts, 4 fried shrimp,2 hush puppies, and a generous helping of french fries. The catfish was on point and perfectly seasoned, my only complaint here was no fresh lemon wedges were offered for the fish. Next, the chicken was good, albeit slightly heavy handed on the salt. The fried shrimp were great on their own. The breading was plenty flavorful, however what was offered as cocktail sauce was merely ketchup with a whole lot of extra sugar in it. The hush puppies were slightly different than what I expected. They contained pieces of diced green pepper, which surprisingly led to a very pleasant overall flavor. Overall, I would give this establishment a score of 4.45 out of 5. Good ole southern food at really reasonable prices.“

“Local joes is one of the last good meat and threes in MJ. I'm not from Tennessee originally but when I moved here the idea of a cafeteria being available in many different places was amazing (I may have gained 20 lbs my first few years cuz I can't say no to a meat and some sides!)! After the closure of Courtney's, Local Joes has been a good replacement. They have fun family events like balloon animals sometimes and even when it's busy they deal with it pretty well. It's somewhere I would be proud to take my family if they ever decided to come to Tennessee to visit! I'm giving 4/5 because their food consistency is not always 100. In my photo my food was lukewarm and kinda just OK, but I've definitely gone before and it's been some of the best food I've ever had. They also go around giving cookies sometimes and that home style touch is what MJ is all about!“

“I’ve been here at least 6 times and just was introduced fairly recent. The food is fantastic! The service could be better always room for improvement. And as for the atmosphere it’s the location in Madison if that says anything. I mean it is what it is. But I am grateful for the good food and I recommend this spot if your looking for a good southern home cooked plate this is my go to. I am always prepared to wait 30 min or more but it’s worth it to me.“

“Food portions are spot on ! Very filling & very fresh! Service was great . I always make it a priority to eat here while I enjoy my stay. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich with a fresh lemonade. I also would reccomend the sweet tea chicken or the beef brisket , with a side of Mac n cheese & the collard greens. Very delicious ! Dessert is also very tasty!
