When I went to this new establishment in Hixson, I noticed a customer who had been waiting on his order for some time. He was frustrated. When I ordered, I specifically ordered a 10 piece in all spicy and the cashier asked me five times if I wanted spicy or original; each time I repeated spicy. The chapter service is horrible, as the workers are too busy playing and yelling at customers, as if they are incapable of giving a decent greeting and response to a customer without an attitude. When I got to work and tasted my food, the chicken was original and I was charged for original chicken even though I specified five times that I wanted spicy. There was hardly any gravy on my mashed potatoes. I simply wanted the food I desired and nothing more or less. I am disappointed at this location; by the looks of its irresponsible staff, this location will soon be closed like many other Chattanooga locations because of childish behavior from its employees and managing tolerance of this ignorance.

Went here for a late afternoon lunch. I noticed several people waiting on their orders. The counter person brought one order out and plopped it on the counter totally disinterested, probably because she was on her cell phone. I stood there 5+ minutes during which time I was noticed by at least 3 employees, none of which acknowledged my presence. The place was practically empty, not like they were busy in the least. After being treated like I didn’t exist, I went to IHop. Food and service was good there. Won’t be back to this Popeye’s.

Okay that explains it. Hwy 58 location is also closed down now. I guess if you want the same experience you had there it's moved to Hixson location now

Not sure what is going on here. I went in and it looked like the hood with all the fried chicken, watermelon, and grape drink everywhere. There were several black fellas in the corner shooting dice for honey buns. I won't go

You would be better off going to a restaurant and ordering your food and eating there! Service was awful I set in line for 45 min trapped cause I could not get out the way they have there drive through service! Worst experience

I came in for first time since they opened. They had no tea made so had to order water. Then I tried to pay with American Express and found out they don't accept American Express. My order was then set in the mobile order window and no one told me it was there. The lady behind the counter acted like I was stupid and should have known it was there. Then I didn't get cocktail sauce with my shrimp. When I went back to ask for some they were out of cocktail sauce. No one said they were sorry, literally NO one cared about anything. Probably will never be back! Horrible experience!!
