Food was delicious as always and the service was great. Not visiting as often since they moved to another area of town, so it's always a treat when we can.

Been wanting to try this place for a while. Showed up at 8:00. The lady at the front turned us away and said they were closed. EVERYTHING I see says 9 pm. A full hour and you cut people off. No thank you!!!! One I will never plan to try again.

I just want to rave about the carnitas. If you want the best carnitas and actual spicy salsa verde, you must try these. I'm giving these 5 stars simply because hands down, they are the best. The meat is actually seasoned and perfect everytime I get these. The salsa verde is spicy and will have you reaching for your horchata for a cool down.

My go to place for Mexican food in Knoxville. This is a family owned business and their recipes are authentic. I love their chicken soup (add extra avocado) and their tacos!

If you have a service dog don’t bother. They will refuse to seat you. Discrimination due to a piece of medical equipment.

I do landscaping and it's difficult to find parking anywhere with big trucks and a trailer...we were told today we couldn't park there even though we were about to spend near $200 it's ok we won't be back!!Parking: Don't go here unless your in a single vehicle...no trailer or big truck...you will be told to move even though you wanna eat there.

I was SO looking forward to returning to Knoxville for my favorite Nachos Locos after living here in 2000-2004. The location in Farragut was my favorite! Being from Texas, this was truly a compliment for the best Tex Mex! I returned today and visited the Sutherland location. It was all I remembered and great! Until…we asked for tortilla chips to go. We had spent $100 and were charged $3 for extra chips to go! Seriously???? Extremely disappointed!

It's a nice place with good Mexican food, though like most Mexican restaurants (in my experience here so far), the chimichanga got a bit soggy and the veggies inside were soft. A suggestion, even though Google says open throughout the afternoon and evening, it's closed from 3 pm to 5pm.Vegetarian options: If you ask the server, there are some options where you can opt for veggies instead of meat.
This is one of the oldest family owned restaurants in town, the staff is kind, the service is excellent, attentive and speedy. The FOOD!! It's always fresh and delicious. The tacos are large and filled with deliciousness. Oh and Margaritas are hand made and potent.

Fresh chips and salsa, chimichanga's in cheese sauce, yummy guacamole. Yes, please!
Hubs and I ordered takeout, Hubs got the El Charro, and I got the Fajitas Combo, both meals had so much in them we ate the leftovers for lunch the next day! Worth the money! We also shared and enjoyed the Fried Ice Cream (amazing!) And a Sopapillas on the side. Would definitely recommend El Charro!
I ordered the "El Charro" dinner. Wife got the Fajitas Combo. We had more food that we could finish. Delicious food, great price. Definitely will come back!
