They seem to take the normal Knoxvillian approach of 50% rice for a roll to maximize profit. Cover the roll with various mayo-based sauces and grease flakes to make all the rolls taste the same (a wonderful greasy aftertaste). Tuna was clearly old and had connective tissue in about half of the roll pieces. No wasabi provided. No ginger either to potentially assuage the grease taste between pieces. Soy sauce provided was effectively 1/4 strength brown water. I am convinced that the standard "ok" sushi in Knoxville comes from gas stations and that is the origin of these high ratings. How do so many restaurants in Knoxville get away with obviously mediocre food? Finally, basically, half a meal for $45. What a joke.

Truly a gem ox Knoxville ! It's very reasonably priced Japanese Fare, with wonderful servers and a beautiful chateau style eating scene. I definitely recommend anyone looking to have a romantic dinner, or even a dinner with the boys go here. ( good adult beverages too ?.) And the RAMEN HOLY COW ..!5/5

Waitress forgot our orders forcing some of our party to eat after everyone else. Food was subpar and arrived to the table lukewarm. Used to be the best ramen spot now it’s an afterthought.

Found out that Sharon no longer works there :/ one of the best bartenders in Knoxville. The rest of the service leaves something to be desired…

Bro first off the server was completely un attentive. I watched him serve other tables walking in his tip toes making sure they were taken care of but really just treated our table bad. The food was super mid. The ramen was not very good very flashy look (would look awesome on insta) but the actually ramen itself was lacking in many ways. This place nailed atmosphere tho. Nice inside it is definitely clean on the surface.

The food was great, our server was great, the women's bathroom was a little bit dirty but the men's was just fine. My problem is that my credit card was charged twice and the waitress said she canceled one of them but in fact it is showing on my statement that it did not. I will update my review when this problem is solved. I tried to call the restaurant several times and it says the wireless customer is unavailable......

This was my first time visiting this location and my comparison of the food is based on my travels. The main reason for my visit was to try their ramen and I was really disappointed. Me and my wife travel a lot and we are both foodies.Kid-friendliness: Employees were very friendly and attentive to my kids, they have high chairs available.

The ramen was probably the best I have ever had. The shishitos were perfect. Sharon our bartender was a breath of fresh air. I will be here again. And again. And

The cocktails are on the weak side. The ambience makes up for it though however the food is aesthetically pleasing.

Very clean restaurant. Got vegan ramen to go and it was pretty good with the broth being earthy and sweet. The vegetable choice included in the soup was interesting and a first for me. It had mushrooms, carrots, kombu, pickled red onion, radish and sprouts. I was not mad at all. Some of the veggies were raw while others precooked. It was a good combo and definitely filling. The ramen itself was a delightful texture. I also liked their bowl packaging as it reminded me of grocery store salad packaging with the little plastic part that you can tear off. Never seen one like it before for restaurants and let alone soups. The price was around 14 something. Fair for something that filling.
