I've lived in Knoxville for almost 4 years and had no idea that Flour Head Bakery also makes cakes! I knew they made breads for Tomato Head, but I was surprised when my sister-in-law contacted Dennis to create her vegan wedding cake. She was able to communicate exactly what she wanted via e-mail and I got to taste a sample of the cakes and pick them up for her big day. Their store is not a traditional bakery with a glass display case, but Dennis was ready with our cakes right away. I found Dennis to be very professional and friendly, and he thought to include an offset spatula and extra icing with our cakes, which was a thoughtful touch and a big help. All of the wedding guests were so impressed with the quality and taste of the cakes and kept asking me if they were really vegan! I'd highly recommend Dennis and his team to anyone looking for a great local baker.

We got a chocolate peppermint cake to serve as desert at our rehearsal dinner and then we also got a three tiered blackberry lemon cake for the wedding. Both cakes were vegan and tasted amazing! We received constant compliments on both cakes from our guests and will continue to use this bakery in the future.

We were hoping to purchase several loaves to take back with us but you're not open to the public �. The location in West Knoxville took great care of us and offered to let us buy a loaf from them! Joshua was our server, he is the best! We will will keep a close eye out for your opening to the public and we will definitely be back!!
