Papermill Market & Deli

I'm originally from the west coast where Whole Foods are everywhere so it's been a staple in my favorite quick lunch spots for years now. I was so excited to see one here in Knoxville, and it's on par with the other stores I've visited over the years. Their salad bar is superior to any other salad bar I've been to. My only reason in writing this review is I was highly disappointed in my husband's birthday cake back on December 11. Whole Foods has been our go to for birthday cakes because everyone loved them. This cake received in December was awful. The cake layers were so thin and it appeared they tried to make up for with the frosting. Our family frequents Whole Foods often for Cruze Farm products and it is generally a good experience, but I wouldn't say that people necessarily typically go out of there way to be welcoming and kind, but recently we had an incredible experience!
