I have been getting the Reuben with Swiss sandwich at Jacob's for many years and have always said it was the best Reuben sandwich in Knoxville. However today was not the case. My sandwich although good did not have the Swiss cheese that makes it so gooey and excellent.(I did ask for it with the Swiss cheese!) I also ordered a small order of onion rings and a side salad. The salad in the past always has crackers included, but were not included today for some reason. Also, prices have gone up! Jacob's has always been a great place to eat and the staff very friendly. Maybe just an off day?? Hate to see prices go up and quality go down!

We were in Knoxville for Doctor's appointment. Passed their sign on the way and decided we would stop and have lunch on the way back home, if they were still open. They were open and lunch was great. We had the special which was a 8 oz burger & fries or onion rings and boy everything was wonderful! Fresh, juicy and perfect. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Definitely give them a try.
