Crisp fried chicken sandwich is ideal.

Good food but amazing service. Janine treated us like family, helping my wife and I wrangle our restless kids over a holiday weekend.

I stayed in the hotel on two visits, and managed to avoid eating here, but this time I had to eat a quick breakfast. Boy was I disappointed. I had to read the menu three times to find something that looked remotely interesting, and what I did order, the breakfast sandwich, was about as plain and boring as could be. The service was flat and mumbling, and looked a little irritated with one in my party who was challenged with speaking English. In sum, I was very much unimpressed with this place, and do not recommend it at all.

My husband was here on business and I came along. Went down for breakfast a little after 9AM. Most tables had not been bussed from previous dinners. I found one clean table with no silverware or cups. It is seat yourself. I waited and did not see any staff for ten minutes. Finally Juliet acknowledged me. But still no service. When she did come back and asked for my order I quickly asked for coffee and the 4 Points breakfast. Who knew when I might see her again. She took an unused cup from the table next to me that a man was eating at just 5 minutes ago . It still had dirty dishes on it! When she delivered my food I had to ask for silverware. She took these from a clean table. I think. Then I asked for hot sauce. She said she only had one kind. I know this to be untrue. I ate here yesterday morning and had the one she said they didn’t have. Also that young man was an excellent waiter. She never brought the sauce she said they had and furthermore never acknowledged she forgot. She was too busy flirting with a man two tables over. Who by the way got great service. Humm... I had to flag her down for the check. Good grief! What does she get paid for here?! The food was wonderful in spite of her.

I stay at a lot of restaurants but this has to be the worst. 2 types of Chardonnays on the menu so I ordered the only Pinot Noir they had. It was so sweet. Their menu was basically appetizers and sandwiches. They have a “daily” meal choice which on Monday is Chicken Paillard with arugula and tomato salad. The chicken was so thin it came out dry and like a piece of leather and absolutely no seasoning. The chicken was on a bed of arugula that had absolutely no dressing what-so-ever. There were small cherry tomatoes cut in half which were edible. There was supposed to be cucumbers in in and I think there were two small pieces. I asked the server if it was supposed to come with a dressing. She said no, but could bring me some if I wanted. I declined. I left shortly after that and decided to have room service. From my room I ordered a bowl of chili. They said I could pick it up in 5 mins. I asked if they had room service and they said no. What hotel, with a restaurant doesn’t have room service????? For dinner tonight I’ll eat a protein bar I have in my travel bag. I will not bother with this hotel next time I’m in Knoxville.

Took over 45 minutes to get our food. Omelette was good, breakfast sandwich was just ok. My daughter ordered a Belgium waffle and it was extremely over cooked, to the point my daughter (teenager) could not eat it. I let the waitress know and she apologized, and agreed, and then said it doesn't even look like you could even eat that. What bothered me was she did not offer to switch out the meal or even take it off our check. I could have pushed the issue (since she left her entire meal), but we had a plane to catch and it wasn't worth the time to to ask to talk to the manager. As mentioned, the service was extremely slow and other tables were having issues getting their food too. I am surprised because the restaurant is inside the Four Points Sheraton Hotel, which was sold out for University of Tennessee parents weekend, but the restaurant was only half full. I would think they would've been staffed better considering the hotel was sold out. I can't imagine what it would've been like if the restaurant was full. It is convenient because it's in the hotel but if you have the time I would recommend going somewhere else. There are lots of good restaurants around.
