(Emory Road location): Just a short drive down the road from our house, frequent often when we can! Love their blue plate specials and margarita deals, great selection of burger offerings, chicken, hotdogs, fish, and more! Huge portions for a very reasonable price, and service is always great even though they're busy very often in prime times

Great food and excellent service! Our family loves this place. My grandson especially loves the french fries. The servers are awesome, too!

We've been here twice now and the food is very good. The burgers are very good, but the fries are surprisingly good. I would not recommend the fried pickles as they were extremely salty.

NOT CLOSED and also called EMMA’s SOUTHERN KITCHEN AMAZING food and atmosphere! We used to frequent this place when it was called The Burgers. I think it may be run by the same family. The Burgers restaurant is still open and moved over on Emory Road. We had the fish tacos and the original tacos and both were fresh and awesome! They gave us more hand cut fries than we could ever eat. There were so many delicious options on the menu that it was hard to decide. Our server was excellent. The restaurant was clean and they offer a lot of outdoor seating on a patio and covered porch.

We're in here at least once a week and it's always amazing! The food is always hot and fresh and super high quality. The staff is SO friendly and always come rushing to greet people and make them feel at home! THEY ARE OPEN AND OPERATING UNDER THE NE EMMA'S SOUTHERN KITCHEN and honestly, the food variety has gotten a lot better since the name change

Well they are open today not closed like tripadvisor said. It is a great place to eat. We loved the Big Tex and the chicken on the run sandwich was delicious. It's a come back spot anytime I come to town. It was so good I had to eat before I got pics.

Wooooooooow I ate a burger here when it was The Burgers (terrible name btw), and they were delicious. It's now called Emma's Southern Kitchen, and I have ventured beyond just the burgers. My partner and I are blown away. We ordered the ribs, chicken fried chicken, and fish and chips. Yes, that's a lot of food. Yes, it was worth every penny and inducing a food coma. They were some of the best cooked ribs I've ever had- I'd recommend ordering extra wet. The chicken fried chicken was THA BOMB, and the fish and chips were super tasty with that delicious tartar sauce. Oh, and the baked cinnamon apples are highly recommended. We will be back often!

Pros: great outdoor seating with shade and fans, fun atmosphere, great service! We have been here when it was The Burgers and the burgers were so tasty.Cons: The margarita we had was very watered down. We have had them when it was the burgers and it tasted completely different. Pricey for quality of food. 6$ for a blue moon draft during happy hour, yikes. Tacos at a southern place was interesting. I think I had an entire onion cut up on my plate. Food options sound and look good on menu but was underwhelmed by quality. Would give it another shot but only order a burger in the future.

The burgers are worth the trip! Generous portions! Friendly and efficient staff! Look for the name Emma's, even though it's listed as The Burgers on Google maps.

Have been going there twice a week for some time. The kitchen is sooooooo consistent and every dish (and I have ordered different meals each time.) The burger, chicken parm, fish tacos, fish sandwich, chopped steak, chicken fried chicken and on weekend the BEST smoked ribs in town. I really do not like parboiled ribs and finally a rack of ribs that is falloff meat but not mushy! The sides are wonderful. Fried ochra is like candy and small cucumber salad tiny but perfect combo of cherry tomatoes, onion, cucumber with dash of vinegar dressing. Real mashed potatoes with brown gravy or sausage gravy. French fries are wonderfully seasoned and way to much to eat. The magic of Emma’s Southern kitchen is it’s consistency in preparing savory home comfort food. There are many restaurants between our homestead and Emma’s but we continue on and end up there and have yet to be disappointed!

Restaurant had a different name. Delicious food, awesome service and fair pricing. If we lived closer, we'd be regulars.

If you want a good classic burger or southern fare this is a great place too go. I feel that this southern kitchen is a gem in the rough. The Fried Chicken dinner was excellently prepared with each piece being one of the best I have had at this price point. The chicken wings are a must have and are some of the best in the city in my opinion just ask for extra sauce. This restaurant would still be excellent even at double the prices they have currently. I will be returning in the future.

If this is called The Burgers, I never saw the sign or it's changed to a neat little country food place. Still got the black and blue burger, and it was excellent.Just passing through Knoxville, and of I get the opportunity to go back, this will be my stop for sure.

Only restaurant I’ve seen in town that doesn’t have its employees wearing masks during the pandemic. The food is good — they’ve rebranded and are now Emma’s Southern Kitchen, with much of the same food but an expanded menu — and we enjoy supporting local businesses during a tough time for everyone. But I’m not sure I can continue to support a place with such little regard for public health and the well-being of its customers (and employees).
