It has been said that we eat with our eyes too. Dishes were finely presented and they tasted as good as they looked. Dishes are light and complex without being fussy. I believe they have set the bar for Asian cuisine in Knoxville.“

“Quite frankly & straight to the point, for years I only went to another local Knoxville sushi spot that had half price sushi nights. Then my husband introduced me to Tangerine & it's the only place I happily go to & pay full price. The employees are the nicest ever! The food is great! The hot dishes are always piping hot & the sushi is great! We go at least once a month, if not more often. Presentation is always on point.“

“My absolute favorite restaurant in Knoxville. I’ve been coming since it opened about 12 years ago. The food is amazing and consistent. The staff is also very kind and attentive! I typically get the shrimp tempura roll and chicken hibachi. The prices are great and I always have leftovers, which taste just as good heated up the next day!“

“Food and service were great. Good prices for sushi overall, and it was delicious. Our server was very nice and quick. However, the couch-like booth chairs with pillows were odd to say the least. Reminded me of a hookah lounge, which is fine, but made it hard to eat. Youre like sinking into this big comfy couch and trying to reach your sushi at a table slightly too tall. It made it hard to share forsure. But overall the food and drinks were good. I'll definitely be back.“

We didn’t even get finished eating our expensive meal before they came to clean the grill with a terrible smelling solution that smelt like vomit! When confronted waiter he was very rude and unprofessional, manager wasn’t any help either. Would not recommend and sure won’t be back!“

“I've seen this place for years, but never tried it. This is such a hidden gem!! The food, prices and service are all amazing! In my opinion, just as good as a place like Wasabi. I had teriyaki chicken and the tempura vegetables for an appetizer. Such great flavor and tasted fresh like right off the grill. Will definitely be back!!“

“The lady that I dealt with last night was one of the most sweetest people I have met in a long time. I was picking up an order to deliver and my phone went dead. My car charger wouldn't charge my phone, so I took the food back in and explained. She grabbed my phone and stuck it on her charger and let me use their phone to call DD so I could unassign. My phone charged enough to finish what I needed, hung up with DD, and delivered my order in time. It's rare that you find nice people in this world anymore, especially the restaurant industry. Again, she was the most sweetest and not because she helped me, but she never quit smiling while dealing with me and waiting on customers. While I was pacing back and forth waiting for support to answer, I looked around and it's one of the cleanest places I have been to. I didn't see one person on a phone or not working, that's very rare these days. Thank you again for being so patient and understanding with me!!!❤ Thank You!!!!“

“Cool restaurant with lots of options. Unfortunately our server was kind of rude. Our chef was great though. The food is a little expensive, but for the skill you get to witness when your chef prepares it at the table, it's worth it. The sushi and appetizers were good as well. “Ichiban just hired a new dedicated dim sum chef. We tried the dim sum for the first time today and it was incredible! We are only able to get good dim sum in places like Chicago or Las Vegas. Now there is an authentic dim sum joint in Knoxville!! Please do yourself a favor and give it a try. This is the only place you will be able to get good, true, and delicious dim sum in East Tennessee!!“

“My husband and I have always loved your food! I get the Chicken Hibachi Dinner & my husband gets the Steak & Chicken Hibachi. Great portion sizes & highly satisfying meals! Tonight, my Dad got to try it for the first time from The Winery at Seven Springs Farm in Maynardville where your truck was. He said, "Give them recognition! This is phenomenal! “Really enjoyed my meal sushi and had hibachi chicken, ribeye and shrimp. All the meat was perfectly cooked and tender lots of flavor and teriyaki. The soup was good too. I enjoyed it very much and the owner James was nice, he circled the dining room and made sure everyone was taken care of. Definitely would recommend“

“My favorite Thai place in Knoxville! My go-to is the beef pho and a salad with ginger sauce. Soooooo good!“

“I didn't see a pad Thai so I did the create-a-wok and made my own, the peanut sauce isn't very flavorful and maybe it's because of the diced chicken but it's super spicy more than peanut-y. But tasty! Will go back and try other things too! Staff was friendly as well.“
