“Friendly greeting and a helpful young man who is happy to answer questions and make suggestions. The Walnut meat and oyster mushrooms were our favorite parts of the meal. The Mac & No cheese probably wouldn't be something we order again, just wasn't our cheesy preference.“
“Not only are the cinnamon rolls good, but the Not a Roll is so good. I got a banana with peanut butter frosting and chocolate chips and I honestly enjoyed it more than a classic cinnamon roll. Their frosting flavors are amazing and there are lots of options. This place is great for satisfying a sweet tooth!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options!“
“I’ve come in a couple times for a quick bite before shows. I’m in love. Authentic middle eastern goodness. well. Everything we’ve had has been delicious and the quality is great. I’m so impressed and will definitely be back. I mean to take a photo but devour it too quick every time.“
“I work downtown and am always searching for a good lunch deal. A coworker recommended this spot! For $10 (+ $2 tip) I got a large turkey sandwich and a cup of vegan chili (soup of the day). The chili is very flavorful, especially to be vegan! The sandwich is nothing too special, but the value is hard to beat. The combo also comes with a side- I chose fruit. I’ll have to come back to dine in. The staff was very kind, and the atmosphere was cozy and old-world feeling. I loved the large oil painting behind the bar. Overall a really great spot.“
“Hands down the best tamales I’ve ever had - that’s including a stint down in Texas in Austin. Have yet to have anything that comes close. When friends or family visit Knoxville, this is the first place I recommend. Get the Chicken Tinga paired with the Calabacitas and thank me later. Real Knoxville gem.“
