“Went to mountainview to give it a second try on Friday night feb 23, we had gone right before Christmas and had a bad experience. It was pretty busy when we got there and had to wait for a table, cause there was 6 of us got seated after about 15 minutes and it was the same table we ha d last time and I was afraid we'd get the same waitress we had first time after I saw her walking thru.. First visit was pretty bad, no refills on our drinks no one checked on us and 2 forgotten salads, the food was good but when no one takes care of the people at the table that makes a good meal not to good. Friday night the food was great, catfish was problybest I ever had, the sweet tea was the greatest green tomatoes mushrooms and catfish was my favorite, my mom and dad and brother said their food was really good to, but what gives this place a 5 star was the waitress we had Judy kept our drinks full, checked on us often made sure we had everything we needed she talked to us like we were old friends and that means a lot not to mention she was very sweet and too pretty to be a waitress. We all agreed that she was THE BEST. We will be coming back more often so have plenty of catfish and mushrooms and I hope we get her for our waitress next time toParking: Been twice on Friday nights parking lot full both times but go around back you can find spots there”

“Exactly as named and delicious as expected!! Stopped for a quick breakfast before heading back home to Florida (our friends are long time locals and frequent this place weekly, never disappointed). Food was hot and tasty, the grits, hashbrowns, sausage, biscuits and gravy, everything was yummy!! Kind waitress and extremely reasonable prices! Will be back when visiting our friends ?”

“Had never been. Went for lunch. Sat outside in enclosed porch. Was very comfortable temperature wise. Hubby got the steak sandwich and I got the Philly. BOTH were excellent. I think the onions gave mine the better flavor. Fries were good but the tater tots were better. Was our first time, but it won't be out last. Recommend Old Oak highly”

“This is downhome cooking better than Momma made. Everything is made from scratch right there one of the best hamburgers I’ve ever had (ask for their homemade dill pickles on it) and awesome biscuits and gravy. Waitresses are friendly and helpful. A really great place.”

“This place has the best food in greene county. Yes there is a long wait, but there usually a drive-thru backed up to the road. All I can say is. It's very much worth the wait. I love their big pal with bacon and their French fries are omgsh I love them.”

“Was such a cute place, had high hopes for a real homey bar around here to finally frequent, and it sure would be,BUT, the minute we walked in the overwhelming cigarette smell was off putting...it seemed super clean, well cared for and bartenderess was friendly and accommodating, the Guiness on tap was also a plus, but nonsmokers having to sit outside ,or else stink all day, was not to our liking..may be back in nice weather, the outdoor deck was pleasant enough...I personally think it's the smokers who should have to go outside, but not in TN apparently...”

““A friend recommended “The Whistle Stop” to us and it certainly lived up to its reputation as a must-visit destination for a great steak. The meal was a delight from start to finish, with a variety of delicious options to choose from. We particularly enjoyed the soup, salad, and crackers with cheese dip (which was so good we couldn’t stop eating it!). The fried mushroom caps were also a highlight. The steak itself was cooked to perfection and simply melted in our mouths. To top it all off, we indulged in the blackberry cobbler which was out of this world. We will definitely be returning to “The Whistle Stop” next time we’re in the area.””

“I think this is the best pizza in town. Its convenient for me . Any other decent pizza shop is 25min drive from my home . There pizza is a really good loaded pizza . The crust is perfect. The toppings are plentiful , and the service is very fast and free of any problems. The order is always right ,and I mean always right . Ive been eating this pizza for 20yrs. Good stuff . Its surprising how good it is to alot of people because its inside of a gas station . Dont let that bother you cause its good S#*T.”

“Walmart is closed but not cook out! Very impressed that they stayed open. Like a beacon to those men and women fresh off their shift bewildered as to what they can even do for food. That answer is cook out. I saw around the building the 3rd shift crew doing drills like push up’s and pull ups to prepare for the best possible performance. “Came in on Tuesday about 4 o clock. After leaving Bright Zoo in Limestone. Seems to be just the Chuckey Locals (Friendly). Shot a Game of pool. Got the $23 Meat Lovers. WOW 8LB Pizza 5lb of meat. Mine came in a chewy thin crust, glad to cause soft would hold these Dang TOPPINGS!!! STOP IN!! This photo doesn't do it justice...”

“This is maybe our 4th time for buying pizza at this location. Often, we have done a deal from our cell phone provider and no problem, pizza good, hot, pretty much right amount of everything. Guess we're not too too fussy.Yesterday, ordered the supreme pizza with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, green pepper and onions.I ordered online, using the app, did an ASAP, went to drive-thru, rather than in store or delivered, and came home with a still fairly warm pizza that we easily zapped in the microwave.Pizza had ample ingredients on it, pizza dough was great, sauce just right and we were totally content.Really can't ask for much more, especially with the pricing. To me, they usually do what they know really well and we're happy they're close to our "hood".”

“First time I have been to an Applebees in a very long time. (new to Greeneville - my 1st visit here). Rainy, Friday nite around 6pm. The place was packed. I wanted a seat at the bar. I managed to squeeze thru people in the lobby and found the bar had a lot of empty seats. I was immediately acknowledged by (I believe Shelby) the bartender but it was so quick I hadnt chosen the draft I wanted. The guy next to me made a Samuel Adams suggestion (which was awesome). Rcvd a menu and ordered within minutes. Ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger with fries. I thought for sure it was going to take a while due to the "full house"....but I rcvd my order in...maybe...10 minutes. The burger was perfect...fries were good. Service in general was crazy good. I was consistently asked if everything was ok...if I needed anything. I will be back. Im sure once I finish moving I wil be a regular customer.I'll also mention...all of the customers I met were awesome. I am new to the area and had lots of questions and everyone was friendly and welcoming.Note: Please tip your servers cash (if you can). If you dont understand why...look it up. I always pay with a cc...but I make sure to put a little cash in my pocket for tips. The servers will appreciate it.”

“We go here a lot and it is always hot and very good. We like Popeye's Chicken Sandwich too but the nearest one is in Johnson City and that Popeye's location is horrible, the worst anywhere. No inside service and the chicken sandwiches are always dried out and cold and the employees are rude. We're glad we have this great Chick-fil-A in Greeneville.”
