“We, my crew and I, are niche carpenters, and travel extensively throughout the South, and mid-west. We’re in a new rural town every week. We work hard to find local eateries, especially breakfast. The Country Kitchen is one of the best we’ve found in a while. The crew voted it best biscuits, and the gravy was good as well. We also got takeout pie both mornings for second breakfast. All-in-all, two thumbs up!“
“A friend and i went for lunch on 1/5/18 and i was totally impressed! Atmosphere was very friendly and comfortable, service was excellent, everything totally fresh and delicious! First ever homade cocktail sauce i've had for shrimp and it was amazing! I would suggest to anyone! And will be returning myself often!“

“Ate dinner here last night. It was our first time and it was great. My husband ordered the steak and I got the fried chicken. Seasoned and cooked well and very delicious. My beans were cold and the gravy didn’t deliver, but overall good experience. Waitress was pleasant and did the best she could. They were a bit busy. The atmosphere was nice and quaint. We will be going back, but I think it’ll be for breakfast next time.“
“Such a great spot and a hidden gem! The food is wonderful, we had the ribeye and a burger and fries. They were excellent! Cold beer on draft accompanied by a juke box, pool table, and darts. You can't beat it! They owners were very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!“
“We've been to the original location and service & food was good. Came today to new location on the Square and we were told to take & seat &they would bring us our menu's. 15 mins went by and nothing .. I had a PT appointment and couldn't wait any longer so we left abs ate at The Local Place instead.“

“I always just get the bar. Sticky floors thought i was in a theater. Those croutons are the best I could eat them like peanuts at Logans. ( but wouldn't lose any to the floor) Our waitress never came to our table except to give us the check. She apologized. I tipped her anyway and had to give the young girl that (idk her position but) seated us, brought drinks checked on us several times a tip also. She was great. Thanks RT“

“They seasoned their green beans.I have to point that out because it's not a typical dish that gets attention.The sweet potato was the real winner imo. But I also the NY strip cooked medium rare.It was tasty but also some chewy fat in there. No big deal I guess. The staff was awesome. And nice to look at too ??❤️“
“First off this was an online pickup order. Delivery and customer and custome service were great. They even packaged orders superbly. Only complaint is the obvious tendon in the chicken strips. And extra effort would have gone far here. I'd rather give them an 4 than a 3.4 that I truly feel“
“This young lady is awesome from the time we walked in . The time we left, she was great nice respectful funny she is a great waitress. Food is on fire. I could not finish it all because of this big milkshake. The young lady that makes the milkshake she was great also her and the other lady had a bet I could not finish the shake but I did. Really friendly place. It has a really cool setup. They have a variety of board games to play while you wait on your food and old arcade games. A place we will be going back to.Kid-friendliness: Great place to take kids they enjoy the kids coming in.“
