Overall the experience for our group was very good.Excellent value. Plenty of food portions.I had the chopped steak mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and a roll.Kaye had the shrimp with Cole slaw, steak fries and hush puppies.Both were good and well cooked.

The food and service was good, but they desperately need the lunch buffet back after Covid.
The menu pictures are a little outdated. The lunch special is now $8 but was wonderful. Both my wife and I ordered chicken livers. They were so AMAZING! Fresh and made to order. They were hands down the best I've ever had. I had Fried okra and steak frys. Also cooked to order and came with a roll. My wife had the potato salad and carrot salad. Both were homemade, fresh, and absolutely delicious ?. The service was great. Although the restaurant is old. It was very clean. I plan on going back soon and taking my mother there. She will be so impressed.Oh, they no longer have a buffet at all. I live in Murfreesboro, but it's just a 30-minute drive for me and so well worth it.

Our waitress was super friendly and the food was okay.. but the prices were good, overall good value. The place has some history to it it has been there for a long time, very big and spacious, but somewhat dated.
Waited an hour to eat bland hospital food.Staff was friendly and tried to do what they could do. But dated and dirty restaurant.
