This little convenience store restaurant is really good! Best chicken strips I've had. The burger is really good as well. I want to try their breakfast too.
Matt at Calloways went above and beyond! Such a nice, caring, and thoughtful worker. Seriously, make him employee of the month, like yesterday! Not to mention the food was delicious and hella fresh. 10 out of 10 recommend!

The lady working the drive thru was incredibly personable and friendly, which was refreshing. However, the chicken itself was bland, overcooked, and super greasy. As far as the chicken, it seemed like there was no seasoning whatsoever, and it was so greasy it effectively dripped through the Togo box before i got home. I ate one French fry and tossed the rest because they were so soggy and underwhelming.
Easy on-screen ordering, prompt service despite almost every seat in the place being occupied. Ingredients were fresh and fried at just the right temperature and with just the right amount of batter so that all the tastes came through and nothing was greasy. I will gladly return.Vegetarian options: The fried pickles are excellent.

Ordered 3 biscuits and 2 hash browns, after driving all the way back home I discovered I only received 2 biscuits. 16 dollars for 2 biscuits and 2 hash browns, not worth it. Will not be going back.

I had to knock a star off just because of the rude older lady that works the window when I stop by in the mornings. When I hear her voice come over the speaker, I instantly regret pulling up, but their BLTs may be worth dealing with her rudeness. All of the food I have had is great, and all of the other staff I have encountered have been wonderful as well, except her.

If you want a delicious hand-patted burger made with high-quality ingredients and hot, crispy crinkle fries, you need to eat at Calloway’s. The customer service is outstanding, and I can’t think of the last time I had a better burger.

OMG the chicken tender is as big as half a breast of chicken, tender & breading was great! My hubby got the CB & fries & couldn’t even finish it so we took food home. This was our first trip but definitely won’t be our last!
Came thru tonight ordered food got all the way home wasn't what I ordered they put my fried pickles in a bag with everything when I removed paper bag everything fell out on floor poor service. Poor food

I have to be honest in saying I'm not traditionally a chicken biscuit guy but "the local" was solid. The combination of the smoky benton's bacon and crispy/tender chicken was stellar. Great experience and great food! I will be back for sure.

Wow!! I was blown away at how fresh and tender the chicken fingers were! And the pimento Mac and cheese is out of this world! I would never have guessed that this caliber of restaurant would be inside a gas station. I highly recommend!

When your grandmother asks you to set up her computer for her, the computer works fine and looks great but it’s still being run/managed by a grandmother. This is a lot like this gas station. It looks great but it’s being managed by a grandmother. Great atmosphere and service, if you want to spend an hour at the gas station waiting for the slowest service in Tennessee.

I was in this location on 9/21 where I had the worst experience at any restaurant ever and not much better with home office! I have been told I would receive a call back and never has happened until today and was not the person I was told would be calling me! Service here was the worst I’ve had in any atmosphere! 2 of their workers were very rude and combative! With the way they allow their workers to speak to customers and have no call back regarding the issue shows they are ok with the treatment their workers give customers! Heard the workers state that if people don’t know how to order then don’t serve them….. then became very combative after being told they were rude! Stated they expected this behavior which I am not one to spend money at a restaurant especially 40 dollars at a mediocre restaurant! First and last visit at either location 22 or 31 which has just opened on Morganton rd!
