Pretty good food and very friendly service. Chips and salsa are very good. I do not drink but I saw many good looking margaritas being served.

I always get the fajitas! Everything is great food wise. If you're looking for an experience of Mexican culture, you'll get the tourist equivalent. Friendly staff and servers.

I'll always love El Jimador, been going here for years and years and they have always served the best food and drinks. Love the atmosphere, LOVE the food (oh my god it's so damn good) I'd do anything for some of their food right at this moment ? Seriously, y'all rock!

Very spacious and comfortable dining room. Good portions and service. Don't love using the bathroom when I'm there ?

The workers were handling the silverware with their hands un gloved grabbing it by the end that goes in your mouth. I observed one worker wiping her nose then picking up a fork and knife on the end that goes in your mouth without washing her hands before she folded it up in a napkin. Both ladies were doing this.

Went in for dinner last night with a large group of people. They were very accommodating and attentive. We got drinks fairly quickly and got our order in promptly. I got two chicken tacos with beans & rice. The chicken in the tacos was seriously tough. Almost hard to bite through. The beans and rice were average for a Mexican restaurant. It was edible but nothing special. My girl enjoyed her chicken entrée and said it was good. I had a bowl of beans that came with my brother in law's burrito dinner. They had fantastic flavor but were loaded with jalapeños. I would've ate the whole bowl had it not been for the jalapeños. Most people in the group enjoyed their meal and the place was packed. People enjoy this place a lot but it's just not my favorite. I'd recommend a visit based on it's popularity. Just because it's not high on my list doesn't mean you shouldn't give it a try.

What used to be a go to, locally, is no longer the case. Have been several times in hopes that it was just an "off day", but not so. The service is slow and the waiters we have had have let the food sit for long periods of time before bringing to the table. Seemed to forget we were there. Even stopped at our table to bring the food and walked off with part of our order still on his tray. We attempted to stop him but he kept walking. It was not crowded whatsoever yet our waiter was far and few between in coming back to our table. It was a long wait to ask for more tea. It was a long wait to get our bill. The food was not satisfactory so most was left on our plates. We and our friends hate to see the consistent decline. We have all decided that it's time to move on to another Mexican restaurant, unfortunately. Food not up to par, not hot and service greatly lacking. Wish it wasn't so.

I've eaten here many times over the years, except during the past few due to covid, and they are not near where I live.Met friends there for supper, and I wasn't disappointed. The food was excellent and the service was good too.

Came for little sister's birthday party. They provided great service, and even sang to her. They gathered the staff around, placed a very large sombrero on her head, sang the happy birthday song and then smeared whipped cream on her nose.

What a fun place to go for dinner! Our server was fantastic and I got to work on my Spanish with him. The painted chairs and the tables are so Mexico feeling. When we would Go to Puerto Vallarta. That's what we would see.The food was fantastic. There was three of us. We had a chimichanga, the ridiculous giant nacho thing ? and the supreme fajitas I think is what it was called. Margaritas were great but the people were just so nice. I highly recommend for a fun night out and a great dinner
