“Arrived after being stuck in long solar eclipse traffic for hours in the middle of the night where all the touristy spots were closed, this place was the only one open. The joint is extremely local, no frills, folks are super friendly, and it’s very lively inside. We ordered half a rack of ribs and some baked beans and slaw. We were gonna drive and eat but had to pull over and eat in the car when we took the first bite. It’s easily some of the best bbq ribs I’ve ever had. Mind you that I’m a Texas style fan and this is not Texas style, but I was still shook by how good this is. The pork ribs are falling off the bone tender, but not sloppy or without texture, it has a nice crust but juicy and flavorful and has a nice bite on the inside, the sauce is the perfect blend of tangy, sweet smokey but has a nice kick and cuts down the fattiness of the ribs perfectly, the most insane part is that it’s cooked so thoroughly that every bone can be chewed through all the way, and all the flavor and juice of the bone comes out. I’d never had that in any bbq ribs, at best the tips come apart but not the bone itself. We were too busy eating to take a picture and by the time we were done all that’s left are bone fragments. My husband licked all the sauce clean. That was SOME DAMN GOOD BBQ!“
“My first time stopping here and from the moment we walked in the door I felt welcome. The customer service was the best and I mean the very best I seen in a long time. Our orders didn’t take long and the food was made to order hot and fresh. Very tasty and seasoned to perfection. Will definitely be back ???“

“The service is always good. Food... ...let me tell you, I've never had wings that are good still after reheating for tomorrow's lunch. I would give 5 stars, but my previous visit was not well. I had ordered a 30 piece and only received 15. I did question the size of the wings but I had to pull up and wait additional time for them. No, I didn't go back because it was 20 minutes before closing, the weekend, a long line and I was over 40 weeks pregnant. I check now but again, the food is good.“
“Fresh veggies chicken steak - fast expedited service - chatty mall crowd ambiance as expected as it is located in the Wolfchase mall upstairs food court- if you like steak and veggies (like bell peppers, onions and mushrooms) you should try the Grand escape steak sandwich - if you only like steak & onions( or no veggies/(no onions ) you try the great escape (tell them minus the veggies(onions )if that's your wish) - if your a fan of a little seasoning and a little spice with some chicken and onions try the Raijun Cajun grilled chicken sandwich (with or without onions)!((Your choice))- if your a fan of no seasoning no spice but you like chicken and veggies (like bell peppers, onions and mushrooms) try the Grand escape grilled chicken sandwich- if no veggies or minus certain vegetables is your choice let that be known at the cashier as well Basically any sandwich can be adjusted to your liking with or without certain veggies the same with anything off the grill during your sandwich preparation in that area you select if you want mayonnaise or/mustard or Both same with salt and pepper or nothing also any additional peppers like banana or jalapeños- yep it's your decision even with extra oils and vinegar if you so choose - noting all sandwiches are with grilled veggies, grilled meats- all fries are fresh down to the way the fries are cut freshly in the morning on a fry chopping machine little little to no potato skin left on-fries are only cooked to order -same as the bread fresh warm bread in the bread oven pulled upon ordering“
“Because I despise the food and service at the Memphis Airport, I try to find other restaurants in the area to enjoy. 5 Star happens to be one of those.It's a simple steakhouse for simple pleasures. The food and service are decent enough. The cleanliness has room for improvement.“
