50 Best Fast Food Restaurants in Memphis

“Consistently good; needs to work on customer service skills; greet me and ask how may I help you; don't just stand there and wait on me to say something“

“Very delicious fresh food everytime!!
We have found a diamond in the rough!
Prices are reasonable and great customer service!!!!
Highly recommend this establishment.
So far we have tried a few items on their menu. But we expect to try it all!! The boba tea is outstanding.
I really personally loved their Mei Fun.
The teenager loves their Memphis roll. My husband had the hibachi stir fry and claims it is just amazing! And the portion sizes are great!
We've gone a few times so there are more menu items not mentioned. But they all were great, we returned and tried more items. Below pictures is the general tso and the Lo mein.
The other times we have gone we didn't take pics. I wish I had.
But we didn't waste any time eating because it was all so delicious and tempting.

If you happen by this place, GO IN they have a cute little area by the register with items for sale that are adorable ranging from hello kitty and friends to jewelry. Also reasonably priced. It truly is a great place.“

“I am consistently blown away with how friendly and kind the staff is. The food is great, always, but everyone that I have spoken to is always sweet and attentive, especially Ms. Tijuana and the lovely young lady I have seen cleaning up the bathrooms this week.“

“I’ll give these guys credit — they did a good job. The food actually reminded me a lot of Backyard Burgers, which is definitely a compliment. It was easily better than your typical corporate chain food, and the service was friendly and welcoming. I had been curious about this place for a while, so today I finally stopped in and tried a simple double cheeseburger. For the price, what I got was absolutely worth it. Their double cheeseburger is a big ol’ hoss of a burger all by itself. Honestly, I’m not even sure fries or tots would’ve been necessary to fill me up. Quality-wise, it met my expectations and then some. I wouldn’t say it’s one of the best burgers I’ve ever had in my life, but it’s definitely far better than some of the sloppy greaseball burgers I grew up eating. Overall, as a first impression, I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick bite. They offer a lot more than just burgers, and I plan to try some of their other items next time. But for a place called Tommy’s Burgers, it only made sense to start by seeing if the burgers were actually any good.“

“Great help at the drive thru - I had 2 of my patients with me who are senior citizens and the sweet guy standing outside the drive thru was absolutely won
derful in helping to take their orders! Great food, great service and some great people!“

“Excellent service! I came into the restaurant today with several orders and different forms of payment. Madison was mycashier and I felt compelled to write a post telling her what a great job she did. The entire staff there was extremely helpful and got my orders out fast. More times than not the service at Chick-fil-A is good but I felt that the service I received today was exceptional! Thank you!“

“absolutely love the shareable shakes! So delicious! The staff were great. Perfect afternoon treat.“

“5 ? I ❤HOOK'S! I ALWAYS ORDER THE 2 PIECE CATFISH WITH THE 5 PIECE SHRIMP! REASONABLE PRICE! ALWAYS SATISFIED WITH MY FOOD!“

“This is one of those places that is a hidden gem this place has some fire wings!! The wings have sauce and flavor and the fries are so good too!! Management was nice and everything is clean and well kept. Will be coming back for sure. Nothing but good vibes and good food here!!!“

“Crazy on the Cajun fries👀, it's the BLT 4 Me! But seriously the menu's banana!“

“This is the best subway I have been to & with THE. BEST Employees ever in the whole wide. To be greeted with Monte’s beautiful smile and fun, personality, and generosity and kindness is what everyone needs in their life And then to have your sandwich sandwiches decorated by Azi who is another amazing human with his Fun and kindness as well. These two are Exactly what the world needs more of.“

“Kelo & Amber at Poplar/ Massey make It feel a little like going into your kitchen somebody has prepared breakfast for you. Dependable and pleasant. They have a sweet group of people. Great value, quick and great service. Why else do you go anywhere to eat!?“

“Service was great! Sandwich was FIRE. Here’s the thing. There should be a tip boot! Seriously, your company is based on the theory that if we buy your food we help firefighters. Well, these team members show up to make that happen. We,the clients, should be able to support both. Firefighters and the team getting it done.“

“Had trouble getting the bread selection on in-store online order and a young man placing an order tapped the selection for me. We had a conversation while waiting and made the experience very enjoyable. Firehouse is a cozy friendly place not just to interact with staff to get order.“

“Everytime i walk in there to eat with my buddies, the staff and the manager are super friendly! Deandre (?) the manager is always stopping by to make sure we’ve been taken care of. Clean restaurant, good staff! Great service! Heavy on the other stores needing to follow suite.“

“I always get the seasonal peach milkshake but it doesn’t come out till the summer so I finally tried the frosted lemonade and it was delicious. I was disappointed in my spicy chicken sandwich. The sandwiches are just not the same anymore.“

“walked there from region 1 hospital. couldn't find it. maybe it's inside inside the building or it's not open yet.“

“Good, quick service. And the best subs and sauce I’ve had“

“Me and my daughter had a wonderful time, the food was amazing as usual and we got our food faster than expected. Kaitlyn helped us and she was such a sweetheart! She was very kind to my daughter and made her day!! She was also so excited Kaitlyn remembered her from the last time we came. Overall a great experience and would recommend, definitely my favorite “go-to” location.“

“I didn't write out a review at the time, because we're on a long road trip... Cookout is what you want if you're after that old school family barbecue in the backyard taste. Stop reading this review and go grab a Cookout burger already -- you won't be disappointed!“

“I come to this location often. The service is quick and the food is always fresh and hot. I like the customer service especially from Pee Wee. She's always communicating with the customer and letting me know how long it will take before emy food is ready“

“Stopped in late while traveling for some munchies. Didn't want a national chain. The wait was pretty long but the food couldn't have been better. The people weren't necessarily the friendliest but it was a Friday night. Would go back when in town and I wish there was one closer to home.“

“Good food, great prices, and fast service. I love this location! 😊“

“I would recommend, but the owner needs to make sure each store is consistent. I've only eaten from there 3 times. the one in Southaven I had the salmon combo - delicious, awesome. The one on Walnut I Door Dash for lunch last week and had a double sliders combo for the first time - it was delicious - sandwiches were made as I ordered. I was really impressed! the only the wrong was i ordered carrot cake & got lemon cake instead I don't care for. someone should have called to give me other choices. Today I skipped going to Southaven (who's customer service was excellent) to go back to the Walnut which is 9 minutes from me - bad choice. I ordered online & got my food to come home. should've checked it first - will do IF I go back to that location. got sliders combo will all I had the last time just left cheese off. The patty wasn't half as thick as the one patty I had on the delivered order. I didn't get my grilled onions. I had to open the sandwiches to see if a slice of tomato or lettuce on each - may have been a thin 1/3 of a slixe of tomato on each. I don't even know how to describe the lettuce. The German chocolate cake - deeelicious! I will support again, but service should be the same at all the stores. I know to check my orders even though Southaven shows their customers the order before bagging it. I shouldn't ha e to drive out there when one is closer.Oh your onion rings are the BEST at both locations! And the salmon sandwich - best I've had! I plan to try more on your menu.“

“Great place to eat. I luv the long piece of fish baked or fried. . broccoli okra sweet tea everything. The only place I wld eat on Frayser Blvd is Captain D's . luv it. Because it's always clean and they are friendly and helpful. Always show u ur food and ask is if everything ok.“

“Love Captain D's Good Food Love it“

“Idk...this place has a way of expediting those peak hour lines at Union Ave location!I haven't seen any company better yet! The food is awesome. The order taker in the regular drive thru line at 1145am to 1215 time frame ( Af-Am, 5'3 or so, medium complexion, auburn brownish braids or locs) today had great energy. I needed that today! Let these folks accept a tip CF!!“

“Jerica at the Cordova Macon location served me with a smile and customized my order to my liking. That’s my favorite part about DQ. Great manger and was quick at 2am when I got off work“

“I love this place great and great people, I go there at least 2 to 3 times a week.“

“Amazing food! Great customer service 🩷 love the variety of meats and guisado to choose from🙌“

“usually I get good service here“

“Update: I went back today 9/4/26 at 11:20am and there was a different person at the window and they were completely pleasant and efficient.

This was actually my favorite Taco Bell but the last time I came here the same lady has been extremely rude to me. The last time i came there I was at the counter looking at my phone waiting my food and I heard her say this lady keeps staring at me she need her food. I looked around and I’m the only lady in there. She handed me my food and I didn’t leave because I didn’t get my drinks. She said what do you want I said may I have my drinks please and she just looked so agitated that I even bothered to ask. Today I went through the drive through window and accidentally pulled too far away from the window I guess and she was like oh lord you pulled entirely too far away and proceeded to gripe about me after closing the window. I used to love the workers in there but now I think I’ll try another location. She’s too hostile for me.“

“Good food, and good service!“

“I come here very often since I work nearby, I use the app and the service is always quick, everyone is extremely friendly and my orders are always right!

Dietary restrictions: Very accurate when making orders, even if I add or remove a bunch of stuff

Parking: I've never had to wait for a spot since there's so many“

“This is such a clean and great place to eat! I’ve tried the wings, salad, and Philly cheesesteak, and everything has been delicious! The wait time is reasonable, especially considering I visited during a busy time. The servers are also very attentive and make sure you have everything you need.
I'll definitely be stopping by this American Deli whenever I’m in the area!“

“The food has been good. The managers were helpful, but as anywhere it could use some growth with a few of the employees. I still order on off days. Otherwise I have been enjoying it this summer. However sometimes you have to just express real thoughts sometimes. Even the bad experiences to help build growth and more productive service and workers.“

“We visited from Wisconsin and was pleasantly surprised. The food very tasty and came out quick. I love the clam strips and hush puppies.“

“Love this Chick-fil-A and all of the folks working there!“

“The wonderful woman working the window had me pull up and order 3 plus meals worth of food for myself in an empty parking lot that required 3 separate fryers and made everything absolutely perfect; all while being about the kindest most polite person I've had the pleasure to meet through a window.
Made my night. Full AF.“

“today was the best experience I've ever had at Dixie Queen the young lady at the window she went above and beyond to make sure my experience was wonderful. I don't know her name I wish I did whoever is on first shift at this Dixie Queen location is wonderful and she needs a raise!!!!“

“Great food. Love everything about the homemade bread. Made just as I wanted. If I could eat more than one. I MOST DEFINITELY would. Great service with customer's. I'm most definitely one of the biggest fans. Thank you for allowing me to be a taste tester to supporting and buying. Spreading the word in the community I MOST definitely will be doing. Better than Popeyes chicken sandwiches my opinion. Yo Snacks is awesome“

“Holy moly this is literally the best food I’ve ever had in my life. It’s a hot bar set up and you have the chance to choose multiple dishes. I had mole that knocked my socks off, a steak and napolitos dish that was incredible, and the best tamale of my life with some real good black beans and rices super friendly staff, and just literally the best food.“

“It was fresh hot 🥵 I enjoyed it exactly“

“Yolanda and Devon made our 1st time experience at Dixie Queen welcoming. We were on our way to Graceland and needed some breakfast, so we stopped in real quick. Yolanda told us that they had the best breakfast in town, which was really good. Got a egg sandwich with Hasbrown and I got a cheeseburger with a hashbrown. We were very happy with our order. The hasbrowns were banging! Don't let the look discourage you, heard Dixie was like a staple of Memphis, so we're glad we got a chance to try it before coming back home to VA. Small drive thru building, but was fairly quick. Thanks Yolanda and Devon!“

“The food was great and the employees all was good but 10.08 for a cheese personal pizza that's really small and a 20 oz drink is way too pricey.ill try to find better deals I know a store in Alabama that had five or six different items pick two for $7 each“

“Food was fantastic. Service was 5+stars. Ms. Lisa was an absolute delight. Her service makes you feel as though you've ordered a 5 star meal! The service industry could take a cue from Hardee's on Whitten in Memphis. Highly Recommend!“

“Great food. Highly recommended“

“Was very crowded,bt the the staff was on point and doing their THING!!! 😊“

“I knew my food wasn't going to be good when I saw my plate was melted from being microwaved. my fish tasted spoiled and wings where old. you should not serve your customers something u would not eat.. $30 down the drain“

“After me and my brother Bad experience with Whataburger and Dixie Queen. We came here. At least the people acknowledge you when you come in and talk to you and don’t just stare at you and look at you. What can I say every time you come to a raising Cane chicken tenders are good and a sweet tea definitely hit“
