Neat old school historical Memphis Italian place where the “Memphis Mafia” used to eat. If the walls could talk, they’d tell tales of Memphis music history. They sort of do with all the pictures.Food was great, drinks were great. Some patience is needed with service, they are always busy.
Pete & Sam’s is a Memphis classic for southern Italian-American cooking. Hear me out; they have easily one of the best cheeseburgers and Gorgonzola wedge salads in the city. I know people aren’t coming here for the burger, but it’s worth a try! It’s charbroiled, well seasoned, with tender beef. The employees are awesome and although the restaurant is usually slammed they’ll get you in in no time.
