The best brewery in Memphis. They make a variety of styles and absolutely nail all of them. I'm a big fan of their pilsners, German style and Czech style. They also make amazing sours, IPAs and a variety of dark beers. The space is like a German beer hall with plenty of seating and room to hang out. The owners and staff are so kind and helpful. This is the kind of brewery I would visit on a vacation and wish I could go back to all of the time, but it's here in town and I can. Memphis is lucky to have a gem like Soul and Spirits.

The Hopper Bolic IPA was up to the standards for us fussy New Englanders!All staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and pleasant. The tap room is large, and very cool.Best part was chatting with our sever Mary, who is also an actress. She gave us much insight into the television industry, as well as stories of the shows she's been in. She made the whole evening for us!Favorite brewery in Memphis for us.

I wouldn't have a party here - they added rules that weren't in the signed agreement regarding decor. They cut down my friend's banner with scissors, which was very upsetting as she stayed up til 1am making it by hand, gluing photos of her child on it. One of the owners did this in the middle of the party in front of guests..." My friend was very hurt and upset that the banner that she spent hours on making was cut down. I don't understand how someone could be so cold hearted and rude to us. The treatment we received at this establishment is unacceptable.

The venue is large and pretty comfortable. One complaint I have is they only let you sample 1 maybe 2 beers. Most of the breweries I have visited are more welcoming to you sampling. The staff person suggested I purchase a flight. I do not like flights. I like to drink the beer I like! I don’t get it. What would it cost them?? They don’t have to pour a lot but just a taste. For this, I am not interested in going back.

Beer is good. Nice atmosphere. Dog friendly. They used to have darts and among other games, but no longer do. This is unfortunate because they were one of the reasons we would make the drive to come here. Bring back the darts at least! Please!
