The ladies were very sweet, different faces and attitudes from the people I saw before in there. The ladies greeted us and suggested great food selections. Definitely will visit and eat inside if that crew is there.

Two salads and two kids pancakes. Took 50 minutes. Theres no service, as its counter order style. I’m sure it’s fine during weekday. Food was fine but I would avoid going here on a weekend.

DISAPPOINTED, to say the least! Went for breakfast yesterday and had an upsetting experience. My mom had just starting eating her pancake, when she pulled a long brown hair out of her mouth. It was like watching a scene out of The Ring. The pancakes and the biscuit were already undercooked...The manager came over and nonchalantly apologized and just removed an upcharge on our ticket. If nothing else, my Mom's meal should have been comped. Needless to say, we will not be going back.

Title: Extremely Disappointing Experience - Hair in Pancakes, Burnt Food, and Poor Customer ServiceRating: ⭐I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at Stacks and I must say, it was incredibly disappointing. From the moment I arrived, the wait time to place my order was excessively long, which was frustrating. However, that was just the beginning of a series of unfortunate events.Upon receiving my french toast, I was appalled to discover a strand of hair embedded within them. Naturally, I sent them back and expected a proper resolution. Unfortunately, on their return, the french toast was not only burnt but also inedible. This was incredibly frustrating and left me feeling utterly dissatisfied. When I requested a refund due to the multiple issues I encountered, the manager initially refused, stating that refunds were only given if something was wrong. I found this response to be completely unacceptable, as the hair in my food and the repeated burnt french toast were clear indicators of subpar food and service.Only after a lengthy dispute did the manager reluctantly provide me with a refund. However, this should have been done without hesitation, given the circumstances. The lack of professionalism and poor customer service displayed by the manager was disheartening.Overall, my experience at Staks East Memphis was nothing short of a disaster. The presence of hair in my food, the consistently burnt french toast, and the manager's initial refusal to issue a refund left me deeply dissatisfied. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone seeking quality food and attentive service. I will stick with the Collierville and Southaven locations!

Beautiful place but if you're going to highlight pancakes they should be something special. They were not. Honestly, the pancakes had absolutely no flavor and were not fluffy and light. Disappointed.

Ordering was a very slow process. Food advertised (Smoke Turkey) ordered but then after lengthy wait time was told could offer deli turkey but did not have any other. My guest had been served and was done with her meal before I had to make employees aware I still hadn’t been served my food. Service was next to none but they were doing all they could do with the crowd that was there. Serving sizes were awesome tho!!

Let me a start off first by saying I can tell it was busy, I'm very disappointed because I ordered strawberry shortcake french toast which says in the description it is made with a strawberry batter. I got regular french toast! Tried calling but got a recording saying call can't go through because line is busy. Then as I waited over 20 minutes for my food I finally asked for at least my drink I paid for. After she gave me my drink I noticed some to go bags sitting on the counter. I ask the young lady does by any chance one of those bags belongs to me. She asked my name again, I told her and she goes look at the bags and says oh yeah this one is yours. Wow!! Food is good though, just wished I got what I ordered. Also I'm visiting from out of state. And of course I didn't see a name tag for her name but the young lady doing the sitting took my order.

The process of ordering and being seated is a huge disorganized cluster you-know-what. The avocado toast I'm pretty sure is made with refrigerated from a tub guacamole. The tomato was light pinkish/see-through and crunchy. The whole avocado toast was cold. After waiting over 35 minutes for it, I was not going to send it back. I would have been waiting another 35 minutes for something else ?‍♀️. My husband enjoyed his breakfast croissant. Observing other tables around us, they too waited a good 35 minutes like we did for our food. Actually one table that was there before us got their food after us. They were a 2 top just like us. I can honestly say we were not impressed and nothing about our meal or experience makes us want to come back.

They messed up our order twice and also had hair in it both times. Once we asked could we just simply get a refund they decided to be rude and have a male security be aggressive with a woman.

Started off good and most everything tasted great. We tasted the grits and they tasted rank or spoiled. Perhaps the milk turned. I told the manager on duty was unconcerned and rude. Told me there couldn’t be anything wrong with my order without having tasted . I can’t understand why you would risk customers satisfaction over a bowl of grits. Also , this small letter she came to the table with that was not highly visible when you order is SAD. If you can’t stand behind your product enough to allow the customer to say what they taste, then You should close! Also, the use of this rule is subjective to who is making the complaint. The folk next to me were not black and they received a re make of their order without push back or a pitiful letter . The food isn’t that great but the customer service is garbage. I hope people read this and it helps them choose wisely where they spend time and money. I know I will.

Food was delicious! The atmosphere was nice. I appreciate our server but was disappointed that we couldn’t just tip her. They have to share their tips. But she did the work. Other than that it was nice.
