“Super friendly atmosphere, entertaining karaoke, surprisingly delicious food (James is an actual chef), and fun Friday night pool tournaments. James, Frida, and staff have turned this place into a fantastic neighborhood pub!”
“First time here and we will definitely come back! You can tell it is made with fresh ingredients from the heart. The perfect treat on the eve of back to school. Thank you!”
“Our server Paige was AWESOME! Very friendly, attentive, and professional/experienced! We enjoyed the food very much, and had a great end to end dinning experience. The hostess was also very friendly and professional! We love Wooden City and will definitely recommend it and return when we are back to the area!”
“This was my first visit. The menu isn't crazy large but there are plenty of good options. I got the shrimp and grits and was blown away. The shrimp was in a crazy good sauce and was over the creamiest grits ever. I'll definitely be back!”
“This restaurant has great food, wonderful coattails and friendly service. We have been so disappointed in many restaurants serving “cheap versions” of authentic food but the food here was original and well prepared. My trout was perfectly cooked, my husband’s chicken pharm sandwich was delicious and the cauliflower gratin was to die for! Definitely worth checking out.”
“My wife and i come here every so often. Every experience has been enjoyable. The beers are always crisp and fresh. We haven't had a bad experience and will continue to come back. Clint (the owner/brewer ) will help you find a beer you will enjoy.”
“Food & drinks were off the charts amazing! Glad to have tasty gluten-free options here in town. We started with the pimento cheese & GF toast, and split the RC burger & broken potatoes for our entree. The portion of potatoes was very generous, and could easily be split between 2-3 people. Staff was friendly & attentive, even on a busy Saturday night. We ate inside for our date night, but the outdoor seating is perfect for mild weather. Highly recommend making a reservation at least a couple days in advance. Will definitely be back!”
“Excellent experience and even better food. Walked in on a whim and was greeted by the owner. He and his staff took great care of me and my friend. Had the short rib and ordered the brussel sprouts…both were exceptional. Short rib was tender, flavor was balanced and plentiful, and the sides paired well with it. The bacon on the brussel sprouts was wonderful. Great experience and will definitely go back!Parking: Parking is located in the rear. Easy to miss the alley way to access it. Small lot but can get several cars in there.”
“We had an amazing experience. We had JJ as our server and he was excellent & provided phenomenal service. He guided us through the menu & gave us his personal recommendations that turned out to be delicious! 10/10 experience.”
“Our server was upbeat and informed us of all the food and srink specials which I appreciate- During our meal he filled up my sweet almost constantly !!! Food was great I'd recommend the pulled pork and Cobb salad and sweet tea thanks Wyatt ?Parking: Parking is directly next to restaurant 10$ roughly till 3 am and ate around 5 pm so plenty of time”
“Amazing! Where do I even begin! The atmosphere reminiscent of a steak house I loved called Starks in Northern California. You smell the smokey wood fire smell with none of the downside. Air is clear and fresh. Kitchen is visible from most the restaraunt. Server Robbie was truly a server. He gave great suggestions and was very attentive. On his suggestion I tried the whipped feta appetizer which came with fresh made pita. I love feta but this was a whole new level with honey in the center. My husband ordered buttermilk fried chicken. It was tender and juicy on inside and nice crispy on the outside. Entrees are A la carte. I ordered the charred gem lettuce and wood oven roasted fingerling sweet potatoes. Hubbie shared all my sides and tried some of his chicken. Perfect meal! Then we ordered dessert. Because really that's why we came. My coworker raved about their tres leches cake. And it was topped with fresh whipped cream not from a can.hand whipped. Yummy. We will be back. So satisfied. Definitely fine dining but not snobby and dress as you like.”
“Casual and family friendly atmosphere. Lots of seating options. Walk up to order and sit where you like. All of the food was delicious! That chess pie though.....holy moly!! Worth every single calorie!!!”
“We loved the food here. You also must try their vegan sour cream! I got the meatball bowl with garlic kale. OMG.. so good! The waitress was wonderful as well. We will definitely come back!”
“I went to Georgi's Pizzeria with friends from my school and it was amazing! Customer Service was incredible, the waitresses talked to us and were extremely friendly. Food was amazing too and the daughter of a waitress even drew a picture for each one of us. Would def recommend! Thank you for the experience ?”
“We love Mellow Mushroom Chattanooga! We were the first customers of the day and were greeted with smiling faces! Megan was our waiter and was exceptional! 10/10 recommend!”
“After a looooooong day at the ballfield, litwrally 14 hours in the sun we stopped for rolled ice cream, from the moment ae walked in to the time we left the staff was friendly and communicated and answered any questions we had. My daughter got cheesecake rolled ice cream plain but later decided she wanted strawberry syrup, they fixed it like there was no problem then she decided she wanted the Boba milk Tea with popping pearles, I myself have nevwr has one I actually liked. She choose coconut milk tea with peach pearles and I now have found one I like!!! The rolled ice cream was on point as well!!! If you've never been youre missing out!!!”
“Was so impressed with the hospitality , the service, and the quality of the food! The owner and staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy! We had the dumplings, pho, and dragon fruit tea. We will be spending a lot of time there! My new favorite place!!”
“The cookies are great, but the last two times I went in to pickup online orders I was ignored. To the point that they helped other people who walked in after me who were placing orders when they got there.”
“Stopped in while in town for business. This was exactly the place I was looking for! Kinda out of down town and felt more like a place for locals. Great burgers and cold beer!”
“Really unique food! The Taco Ticos were really great and the cabbage mix on top was such a refreshing touch. I was really impressed. My husband got tamales and those were also really good! I don't like tamales but these were the best I've had. The plantain leaf wrap really added something unique and they were very moist. It was a little bright for a Friday night. I think the atmosphere has room for improvement but the food was so so good. Likely our new go to spot I want to try the whole menu.”
“This restaurant in Chattanooga is great. The atmosphere is amazing, it sits beside the river so of course it has amazing views. Our service was awesome, and our meal was spectacular. We got the key lime pie to go because we were too full to eat it after our meal but it was delicious anyway! We will definitely return!”
“Great location and parking, food was a little disappointing for the price but service great! Crab bisque was texture of dip and I couldn't eat it, not soup or chowder. Onion rings were gigantic but no flavor, fried devilled eggs were good, hamburger was excellent, meatloaf was a huge portion but mushed into the potatoes so you could enjoy either one individually. Lots of potential there though.”
“I get the chicken salad croissant with Mediterranean salad every time and is usually the best part of my week. Extremely friendly, calm and welcoming place to read for a bit or even just a quick bite in the work day.”
“The store was a great experience! It was well organized and easy to find what you’re looking for. The employees were really nice as well. I recommend if you’re in the area to stop in and take a look.”
“I am so obsessed with this restaurant. There’s nothing not to like. The food is delicious, the servers and staff are great, live music is groovy as hell, the drinks are to die for, the owner is a cool lady, the atmosphere is such a vibe.Even the bartender who made us espresso martinis for the first time was killer. They were not on the menu but she was gracious enough to give it a shot. And I must say it was the best espresso martini I have ever had. You guys should consider putting those on your menu! I ordered others around town and nothing compares to that one.I have been eating here since I moved here in 2020 and I must say this has been one of the more consistent restaurants all the way around I have been to. All the food has been delicious.I would give this place 100 stars if I could. Please never change. You guys are great and I wish you nothing but endless success.”
“This is a great place for healthy food. The decor is modern and chill. If you want indulgent meals, then this probably isn't the place, but I applaud their plant-based health-conscious approach.”
“Get a reservation, this place gets crowded. Finally a good Italian restaurant in Ooltewah. Every dish my family ordered met expectations. One observation though, the focaccia served in the beggining was a little dry.”
“Very beautiful! And the coffee and food is amazing loved it so much. It seems a very popular place, because it was PACKED when we got there. No wait though, a few tables still open. They also have a to-go counter so you can just pop in and grab what you'd like. They have plenty of outdoor seating as well.”
“If you told me that a diner attached to a 2 star hotel was this kind of boondiggity I would have thought you were special. First off, they got something for everyone; tex mex, Greek, standard diner fare, they got it. Whoever wrote the menu has carpal tunnel in the wrist. Food was on point, fresh, hot, fast. Service was timely and engaged and the atmosphere was a lot better than I would have ever thought of a place attached to a 2star hotel. Now let's talk about your desire for diabetes.....they got whatever variety of diabetes you desire. Cakes, cheese cakes, canole, baklava....etc. bring ya metformin.Kid-friendliness: High chairs galore and something for the picky eaters”
“Really good biscuits and gravy!Parking: GravelWheelchair accessibility: As far as getting through the door, you'll be fine. Getting to the door will put you traversing a gravel parking lot. If you make it, once inside, the tables are very close and will need to be moved to accommodate. I can't see anyone there hesitating to help (staff or customers).”
