“Jackie Mae's is a great place to eat. The southern cooking is awesome. It reminded me of my grandmother's and mother's cooking. The chicken and dressing was delicious. Everyone was very friendly. Mrs. Jackie Mae herself came around and checked on everyone. If you get a chance, go to Jackie Mae's Southern Cooking.“

“What a treat! This is food that is prepared with love and caring. I only had vegetables and yet they were amazing. Cooked nicely — yams were soft and sweet, green beans were soft without being mushy, mac and cheese creamy and perfection, in other words it was everything expected!Oh — and cornbread worthy of a southern cook!Looks like they have different choices daily. “My Mother and I were looking for some comfort food after a stressful day and me not wanting to cook due to being later in the day; so I reverted back to my trusty Yelping reviews and found something new. Sweetpea's came highly recommended in the immediate vicinity and this definitely won't be our last visit. We entered the restaurant from the rear parking lot which is the suggested entrance and were greeted immediately by the host. While being lead to our table I was able to observe that this was a regular spot for everyone noticing several tables with just one customer who were enjoying a table full of dishes and other larger tables with several customers engaging in good company and food. Our waitress promptly greeted us while taking our drink order where I also asked for an appetizer of onion rings. Those Onion rings were absolutely the Best my Mother and I have Ever had! The batter was light and crispy accompanied by ranch and ketchup. Mama and I also both opted for the country fried steak with white gravy where we enjoyed every single bite. Also, if you are a lover of sweet potato casserole, you're probably going to want seconds. We're looking forward to our next visit.“

“I just love Chicken Salad Chick with all the selections, friendly service, and great atmosphere. I introduced CSC to my husband and he was so impressed that he got an extra scoop to go. I got the Jalapeño Holly and grape salad. It was such a fantastic combo. Big portions and full of flavor.“

“Every time we go to Memphis, we stop here. Their food and service are excellent. One of us always gets the catfish and I choose either fried shrimp or the cuban. You wouldn't expect that the cuban would be a good choice at a restaurant that highlights seafood,but you'd be wrong. It consistently is the best one I've had regardless of the restaurant. Service is great. Refills come unsolicited,which is refreshing.“

“We used them to cater a party and we would definitely use them again! The food was delicious and the portions were perfect. Most of the time, people leave catered events having spent a lot and not gotten enough food. With Pop’s everyone had plenty of food and there was some leftover. They were easy to work with and very kind, also.“

“First time being there in over 2 years. Last time I was there around 2 years ago when the business changed hands and it was absolutely horrible and didnt go back. Today I went and it was just like it used to be. The waitresses were so nice and friendly and our food was ready to go in about 20 minutes. “I embarked on an Adventure call 10 for TEN. 1) It was an INSANE amount of delicious food! By the time I finished the tenders, I was out of tea, I had consumed some of the french fries, and still had (5) delicious wings to conquer. Wonderful food but I was beginning to realize what a decadent meal this was! I suppose we all want to become the Goodyear blimp for a day. As I write this review I am hovering over a football stadium near you. I wish I could say it felt good but that would be lie. I did it to myself and I still love Slim Chickens. “I had an amazing brunch experience at Southern Breakfast! I had the fried salmon and grits, French toast, and the blueberry white chocolate and amaretto bread pudding. I never knew salmon could be fried!!! Everything was DELICIOUS ?!!! Our server, Talon, was amazing as well! He was so kind!! I will definitely come again and again!“

“I have always loved Piccadilly. I have eaten there since I was child and the only location was downtown. It was a special treat. I like the variety and the creole seasoning. It is relatively inexpensive. Their gumbo is good and if they have their homemade dressing, it’s wonderful. We have gotten our dressing there ever since my great aunt died over 30 years ago. She used to always make the dressing and none of us could get it quite right but Piccadilly comes very, very close. All in all, I absolutely recommend it.“
