The Country Porch Burgers • $$
3130 Muddy Pond Rd, Monterey

“Pretty nice place to visit. The scenery was beautiful. Store has nice selections of baked good, jams, jellies & gifts and home decor. When ordering food, the process is a bit confusing. We had the burger, with chips and a 20oz drink on the side. Very tasy and reasonable priced!“

“I'm not a big fan of Burger King's food; the only thing I like is their chicken nuggets, which are the best chicken nuggets you can get (besides Chick-fil-A, of course). I can eat the fries, too, if I have dipping sauce.Of course, the people running this Burger King have no say in the matter of food; it is, after all, a franchise. It's not like they can change the menu. With that said, the service is good. They do make mistakes as we all do, but it's not very frequent; the service is generally great.Kid-friendliness: Kids meals are offered.Parking: Free parking lot that's usually not too busy.“

“Sad to say this restaurant is FAR from being what it was while I was growing up! It Used to be a place for not only ice cream treats but Great food & service too! But now, with different owners (I'm not sure even live anywhere in this area?) it is no where Near the same place it used to be.. the last couple times I've gotten food it seems as if it had been fixed for a while - Not fresh. And the menu items have changed. Used to it was one the only restaurants in town to consistently have a fish dinner (2&3piece) and tater tots and chicken nuggets.. not anymore- several menu items have been taken off?. And used to anytime I called (to place a call in order) someone answered the phone- now everytime I've called after 7-8pm no one has answered the phone? With all that being said : They still make / have Great ice cream treats!! And the service (in person - non phone?) is well enough.. But I just can't help Missing the old DQ - especially since our small town doesn't have very many options in the way of fast food / takeout options!!“
