“Every time I visit Stand Stone State Park, it’s a must to go to Ollie’s Place. Their food is always good, and their service is great. It’s a tradition for me to get their frog legs every-time I come! Just about everything on their menu is sooo good! We got their unlimited fish special, so good!Parking: Parking is available, but definitely be careful when pulling out to the road.“

“Awesome place to eat with a very fair price. The owner and employees were very pleasant. If i lived closer, I would visit often. It is a small place inside with three tables. Many people get thier order to go. I think there is a drive through.“

The Quarry at Weir Mountain Salad • $

“The view is stunning.Just driving to the parking lot is worth the trip; which is how I discovered it was open. I had visited that lot a number of times for the view and to work my HAM radio. My son in law and I went in and got the grand tour, welcomed, even though we were not not going to sit down for lunch. We came back that evening for dinner. The food is GOOD. Portions are not huge, Americans are used to bigger portions, but they were actually just the right size, very tasty, cooked well and home cooked GOOD.As a rule, I never eat coleslaw, but I ate the coleslaw, it was delicious. We had chicken bites for an appetizer, made from REAL chicken, tasty, soft, delicious. Followed by catfish, also splendidly prepared. The prices are good, cheaper than a large whopper meal, and so much better. The menu is not 12 pages, they kept it simple, doing what they do best, and it works. They have live music, a full bar, and if they are not hosting private events, they should be.The building itself is worth the trip, cracker barrel looks like a child's toy in comparison, it is a living sculpture, a labor of love, the owners dream made real. Memorabilia adorns every surface, history on display. Nick-nacks you don't see anywhere else. The walls contain clear garage doors in place of windows, perfectly showcasing the view. I believe the lake I saw is Dale Hollow, awesome views every direction. The stonework, huge, multi-ton stone, lanscaping is incredible. Every piece lovingly and precisely placed - a fantastic work of engineering art. They spent five years building it, the driveway may look daunting, needing a bit of work here and there, take it easy, you will get there, and you will be stunned. You'll find your new favorite place to go, and want to return again and again.I don't write many reviews, I really need to be impressed to put the effort into it, I try to be fair, convey my experience in a positive way that I hope you will find helpful.Needless to say, the Quarry is more than worth my time to review, and will be worth your time to visit.Parking: The view!Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.“

Dairy Queen Grill & Chill Fast Food • $

“First, I only had a peanut butter milkshake and didn't have a meal. I was greeted upon walking in by someone wiping down tables. The device was fast despite being July 4th. The table I sat at was clean and not sticky like the last two dq I visited. Somebody here cares.“
