Ok. If you don't like the food here, you don't like food. The. Crispy. Potatoes. The burger, the chicken Sammy, the Bao buns, the beer...when they do Ramen. Ever-y-thing is top shelf, every time we come to Lauter. Pity the fool who gives this gem less than 5 golden rings/stars. Lauter. Do it.
I'm so glad we stumbled upon this place - it's a little difficult to find (the Lyft driver dropped us across the street and even though it was my friend who'd found the restaurant, I had to convince them this was the right place because I saw online that it was associated with Southern Grist). This was also a nice reprieve from the more touristy side of Nashville - it felt much more relaxed, it was easy to hold a conversation as it wasn't loud, and still maintained a trendy vibe....read full review

Stopped by for lunch on our way into Nashville. The food (vinegar potatoes, burger, and beer) was great and the service (Pam) was amazing. We liked it so much we went back for a light lunch the next day (bao buns and edemame). Callie was great and gave us some suggestions for dinner.We will definitely be back to Lauter.
