“Since its opening, The Local Goat has been the go-to overnight stop on our I-75 North/South trek. Initially this was because the restaurant was next to our hotel, but now we stop because of the great food. Today, I want to give a loud SHOUT OUT to our waitress, Skylar. She reflects good service and compliments the excellent food of The Local Goat experience. Sky engaged in a friendly conversation with a very sweet, personal touch; we will remember to ask for her on our next stop!”

“We LOVE this place. Not only is the food outstanding, the customer service is top tier. Angie and her crew make you feel like your friends as soon as you walk in the door. Super friendly people! We first came while I was pregnant with our daughter. We visited again for the 2nd time with said daughter who is allergic to eggs. We wanted to get her a sweet treat (like brother did) after lunch and Angie went out of her way to ensure one of her pies was completely eggs free! As a parent with a child with a severe food allergy, that kind of kindness is unmatched! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!”

“It's my first time in this bar and I really liked both the beer and the quiet atmosphere. It should be said that it was a Wednesday afternoon. One of the waiters spoke Spanish to us and it was very appreciated. Wonderful experience.”

“excellent customer service! We had an event and needed box lunches, knowing we needed to order 48 hours in advance, we STILL had people forget. Twice after we made the order, and well past the "48 hour before" deadline, we had to add more sandwiches. Both times, the shift manager was accommodating and polite, and said we would have no problem. Picked everything up on a Saturday AM, just as business was picking up for lunch, and had to add two more! they did it with no problems, nice and fast, and the line was still moving. A whole bunch of people at the meeting had never known about box lunches, and were suitably impressed at the value, as well as the sandwiches. Good job Ooltewah!”

From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in the right place. I had already set my sights on the Green Mountain Grill line, and upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Steve, who even offered us some delicious wings. Steve took the time to understand our needs and guided us through the displays, meticulously explaining the features of each grill and sharing his personal experiences with them. His knowledge and professionalism were evident, and it was clear that he genuinely cares about ensuring his customers are fully satisfied. In addition to their impressive selection of grills, Owl's Nest BBQ also offers a wide range of accessories, seasonings, and sauces. Whether you're a seasoned griller or just getting started, their comprehensive product offerings ensure you have everything you need for the perfect barbecue experience. We ultimately purchased a Ledge Prime 2.0, and the entire experience reaffirmed our decision. In an era where quality customer service is becoming increasingly rare, the dedication and commitment we experienced at Owl's Nest BBQ were truly refreshing. My husband had a delicious amaretto chocolate cherry shake and I had a scoop of cookie butter, a scoop of Oreo cheesecake and crumbled up waffle cone! We also sampled Earl Grey and butterscotch!! I’ve also had their red velvet before! It’s all delicious!!! Visit them if you can! You won’t be disappointed!!!”

“I want to recognize Catherine who often works the drive through window in the mornings :-) Catherine is polite & friendly, while efficiently filling orders for long lines of customers. I know when I see Catherine filling my order that everything I ordered will be correctly filled & in the bag. I am also impressed that this location consistently has a high food safety inspection report which is posted at the drive through. Great breakfast :-)”

The staff goes well above and beyond their way to make you feel at home because at The Ooltewah Club, you truly are family. For those pondering whether to join a local golf course, please do not look any further in the city of Chattanooga for an affordable experience as a member! “Went in on July 4th night and there was only one cook and one waitress. Completely understand what it is like to be short handed so we were super patient. The waitress was Shannon and she handled it so well. Her and the cook worked so well together. I was thoroughly impressed and appreciated how well they were working to give us the best service possible considering it was just the two of them trying to handle so many customers.”

“So I had my first Mango Kale. I was super impressed for my first try! Besides the great flavor the store is staffed with friendly and awesome employees. Macie was super excited to make my first Smoothie King product, and after I tasted it, I KNEW WHY. She made a great product and represented it well!!”

Slightly different menu since we last visited. Lost a few favorites but also found some new ones! The wings and Philly cheese steak sandwich are always a must have for me.
