“Well unfortunately I went to this amazing place on a date she actually wanted to come here low and behold my date never showed terrible time for me so I stayed had diner alone had wings and couple of cold ones and started talking to a beautiful lady at bar she kind had same experience as me low and behold we have been on a few dates staff was absolutely amazing friendly we have been back a few times keep it up“
“We had the most delicious meal tonight. Tayla was amazing and so helpful on choosing what to eat. Chicken Parm was the BEST we’ve ever had.The Pork Chops were also so good! The hot fudge cake was so good too. We highly recommended eating here.“
“Ok this place is delicious!! Burger is still one of the best and portions are great. The biscuit is great also, makes the south proud. Would have gave 5 stars but the hours are so crazy. I do respect the replies from the owner and commend u for prioritizing your family. Still being next to Chester frost at least being open on Saturdays would make sense“
“Amazing! I called last minute and needed delivery downtown. Said they could but would be a little later than I requested which was fine with me. They arrived earlier than I thought which was great! The food was delicious and perfectly set up. Way to go above & beyond expectations!!!!“
“The food was a “greasy spoon” kind, and PERFECT! The mushroom & Swiss burger was great, the tomato was ripe, and the fries were crispy. I ordered the fried pickle spears also and as a foodie - they hit my spot. My husband ordered the onion rings and the bacon cheeseburger. The onion rings were the battered type (my fav) instead of breaded. The waitress was very friendly, the restroom clean, and the old man sitting by the register was chatty. He engaged my husband in a good conversation. Overall, it was a splendid experience.Parking: It’s a favorite eating place for firefighters and their fire trucks were parked on the street. It was pretty tight in the parking lot.“

“Yesterday, we decided to try 1885 grill.We were immediately greeted and seated by the hostess.Our server Liberty was really attentive, always a plus when dining out.We started with pimento cheese and okra and the empanadas. Both were good.Meals were Bistro steak cooked to order was delicious. The spinach salad with grilled chicken (Liberty suggested protein) was very good. I liked the sweet tea dressing. Mushroom grits, very lemony and good. The seared scallops and shrimp cocktail were also delicious.We enjoyed the area. We had a nice walk after our meal. We will come back!“
“Great location and parking, food was a little disappointing for the price but service great! Crab bisque was texture of dip and I couldn't eat it, not soup or chowder. Onion rings were gigantic but no flavor, fried devilled eggs were good, hamburger was excellent, meatloaf was a huge portion but mushed into the potatoes so you could enjoy either one individually. Lots of potential there though.“
