I had the Greek flatbread and a bowl of (fresh) tomato soup (more like a bisque) yesterday and am now totally sold on this place. Planning on becoming a very regular customer. “The staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was incredible. I got the fried chicken, mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. It was wonderful. The chicken was hot, juicy and spiced beautifully. The fruit tea was so good. I tried the pecan pie for dessert at the recommendation of one of the staff members and it was one of the best pecan pies I’ve ever had. I will definitely be back.”

“I ordered takeout from here yesterday for dinner and got an extra meal for lunch today. The roast beef was so tender and delicious! The mashed potatoes with gravy were some of the best mashed potatoes I've had from a restaurant. The cornbread is flat pancake style, so good. My only complaint about my meat and three was that I ordered turnip greens and got green beans instead. They were still delicious, but I really wanted the turnip greens. Lol my leftover spaghetti today was good. My friend said his catfish was really good as well.I needed comfort food for a hard day, and this place did not disappoint. Reminded me of my grandmother's and mother's southern cooking, which was just what I needed. Portions and prices are fair, too. Highly recommend this little gem!”

“We go on Tuesday nights for trivia. Most of the time we have to have a Reservation, even for a 4 top. When we do call, sometimes it is not written down. It's a frustrating experience at times.The food is ok. If we ask for anything special or different, it is rarely correct. But I will say, the service has been better the last few times .”
