“They have fantastic buffalo wings at a reasonable price. Everything we've had here is good, but the wings really hit the spot. There's not any other options locally besides Domino's (they were terrible) and Pizza Hut (obscenely overpriced).”

“Went to this place for the first time about a week ago. I didn't even know it was in town until a friend told me. We walked in and were greeted by smiling faces, sat ourselves down, and was soon greeting by the waitress. She was kind and cheery, very attentive. The food didn't take too long to get and everything we got was hot! I will 100% be back!”

“The Snack Shack has been a staple of downtown Selmer for decades, it's gone through numerous owners and the new ones are doing it right. Food is fantastic, the service is quick, and it's cheaper than fast food. One of my favorite places to eat in town. Keep those Slugburgers coming.”

“Purposely passed a lot of BBQ joints to get to Pappy’s!! BBQ is excellent. Servings are on the large side. BBQ sauce is really great. We did the sausage sandwich and took home a BBQ pack for later. BBQ Bologna was EXCELLENT as well. They’re busy with the drive thru - but quick. Not a long wait. Not overly friendly but we came to eat - not socialize.Parking: Can pull off the side of the road. Plenty of room for trailers in the parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Just a great place for adults and kids.”

“When we got there the staff was so friendly, they said we could sit on either side of the restaurant. We got service just about immediately! I drink was so first and they took her order which I ordered the specialty lunch plate which was delicious! And the other person with me ordered specialty plate that was on the menu. Something I've never heard of but she loved it ! The waitress was excellent! Our tea glass never got empty, they always wanted to know if we would like something else or needed anything. I can't say enough good about eating at Smokey Joe's, and this was not our first time! Every time we have eaten there The Price is Right excellent fresh salad bar good prices friendly staff and it's clean! That is our choice of dining restaurants. And something else, though they were busy they got to us really fast! They're really on their toes and doing their job!”

“My boyfriend and I came through the drive through today, Friday January 12th, around 5:30 pm, they were very busy due to them only having 3 workers in there but those 3 workers did their absolute best to make sure orders were getting out to the best of their ability, the last visit we had made there my food was burnt very badly, not this time. Finally she had to get tha manager like 2 time's & finally I asked if they could just start her order over & she did then she didn't ask for as much!!! Wuz so cruel & mean to that Woman that wuz trying her best to help her!! Made me so mad that I wuz fixen to tell her off if she'd kept on.. But she didn't with tha Manager.. “Cute little country bar,on a backroad, in a one horse town. They had a live band, a dance floor, several pool tables, and cold beer. Everyone was exceptionally nice and friendly. We felt very welcome. Overall nice place and nice time.”

“Place was wonderful and friendly, just a trucker got to go chicken Alfredo with the Cajun. That's where I went Wong. I don't complain about food but the salt content, I love salty, was so generous it was inedible I tried 3 times because I spent $30 and was starving from a long day couldn't consume just 50% salt haha. My fault though. Sides were good should've gone with beef that's my bad. Lesson learned for next time. Still will be back next time for some beef.”
