The manager Jacob and Josh will go over everything with the chef so you can make the right decision. The prices are very good. You never go home hungry. Its a nice atmosphere, sometimes with Italian music. Their kitchen and bar are very clean. There are four menus including a kids menu. So there's always something for everyone. “We had the best time doing the “Wine Trail” in Gatlinburg/Sevierville, Tennessee. We had the perfect host, Dani (I hope I spelled your name right). She was extremely helpful with her knowledge of wine and ciders and she was very hospitable and kind. We had so much fun and the wine and cider was absolutely amazing. It was so good that we ended up bringing home twelve bottles. I recommend starting with or ending with ”Tennessee Homemade Wines” in the Tanger Outlet Mall in Sevierville, Tennessee because you can buy all the cider & wine in one location and you get several things free if you buy everything all at one time. You can get free glasses, wines, ciders and t-shirts depending on what you purchase. It is definitely worth it. Also, you can’t beat Dani as your host, you will love her.”

“TikTok fully influenced me and it was 100% worth it. English Mountain Trout is such a fun little Smoky Mountain/Sevierville stop like lowkey touristy in the cutest way. It’s cash only (but they have an ATM on site), tons of seating, and super family-friendly. Parking is a little tight, so we parked down the road on the grass and it was totally fine. The best part: it’s perfect for kids who want to go fishing, but you don’t want to commit to an all-day lake situation where everyone gets bored after 20 minutes. It’s quick you catch the fish and they’ll grill or fry it for you right after. We did grilled trout and tried lemon pepper and black pepper… and both were delish like genuinely. Plus the cutest little photo op holding your fish before they cook it. Core memory vibes, would absolutely do it again.”

“One great thing is the location, quietly off the horrid tourist strip. We needed a place that allowed dogs on the patio, and was open a bit late. The staff was very accommodating and I thought the chicken fried steak and green beans were excellent, the collards quite good too. They ply you with apple fritters before the meal and their apple fruit juice. It is a huge meal... Check the family style menu, entree plus three sides plus soup and the fritters AND dessert.”

Our waitress, on the other hand, needs to find a new job that does not involve working directly with the public. She had an attitude from the time we were seated till we left. Never asked if we needed anything or wanted and refills or drinks to go.

“We visited Joe’s Crab Shack on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025 in Sevierville, TN after a very long day at a cheer competition. Our group was a party of 25 — and only 10 of those were adults. 🫣 My family alone is a wild party of six. Usually for my daughter’s cheer competitions, I travel alone, or if my husband joins us, two of our kids stay with grandparents — one because she wants absolutely no part of the cheer world, and our sweet boy Madden is autistic and nonverbal. The world isn’t always built for children like him, and doing something as simple as a weekend getaway can feel impossible. It’s a hard reality for special needs parents. But this weekend, we decided to try. All four kids. New environment. Busy restaurant. I was nervous, honestly terrified, and almost backed out. By the time we arrived, the rest of our group was already seated — one long table for the adults and another for the kids. 😳 And then came Conrad, our server… and the reason this night became something unforgettable. From the moment we sat down, he was on top of everything — quick with our drinks, friendly, calm. But within a minute of getting our drinks, my husband knocked mine over. Before I could even get fully embarrassed, Conrad was right there insisting I stop cleaning because he’s got it covered. Then came the search for the “golden crab,” and… chaos. Kids looking under tables, drinks spilling everywhere — one kid’s drink, then a shark attack drink. Again, I jumped up to clean, and again Conrad swooped in, stopped me, and handled it. He even stood guard over the spill until he got a wet floor sign (kudos to him for following policy 😉). Despite the madness, he stayed cheerful, calm, and kept the atmosphere light. Meanwhile, I’m over there absolutely mortified — former server here, so I know how rough nights like that can be! But this is where I need to truly highlight what made this experience extraordinary. Conrad never rushed us. He never cut corners. Every kid who ordered a shark attack drink got the full experience — lights, excitement, the whole restaurant knowing. He poured into making the night special. Then, in a moment that meant more than he will ever know, I turned around and saw him kneeling beside my son at the kids’ table. Interacting with him. Talking to him. Giving him little toys. He didn’t stare. He didn’t avoid him. He simply saw him. I nudged my husband and we both watched our boy stemming by flap his arms in pure excitement — a moment we rarely get outside of home because we hardly ever go to sit down restaurants as a family. I don’t even think Conrad realized we were watching. But I felt something lift off my chest… like for the first time in a long time, I could relax and enjoy an outing with friends and my whole family. A few minutes later he gently tapped my shoulder to ask about Madden. I started to give the usual “Yes, he’s autistic and nonverbal,” but that wasn’t his question — he wanted to make sure there was something on the menu Madden would like, and if not, he said he’d see what accommodations he could make. My heart absolutely melted. We stayed for a long time — full chaos, noise, spills, laughter — and Conrad never once lost his spark or smile. When one of the kids wanted pepperoni for her cheese pizza (which her mom informed her she ordered her cheese), he found a way to bring her a little bowl anyway. Her face lit up like Christmas and she told him he was the best. And then, as if he hadn’t already gone above and beyond, he led the entire restaurant in singing happy birthday to one of the dads… telling everyone he was turning 15 so the kids could get a good laugh! I truly hope Conrad receives recognition for the way he cared for our wild party of 25. He made an enormous impact on this mama’s heart — especially as the mother of a sweet autistic boy. For the first time, I felt hope that Madden can be part of our family outings without the constant fear or overwhelm we’ve grown used to. Because of Conrad, this night became something more meaningful than dinner after a long day — it became a moment of”

“Unfortunately we had cause to complain about the service - but our server Jessie and supervisor Ashley sorted this out. It meant a longer wait for our food but it was delicious. We liked that the manager came by too checking on us and they made a deduction to the total bill. Well done Red Lobster - you handled the situation in a friendly and professional way.”

“Party of six on vacation looking for a local eatery. We couldn’t be more pleased with the food, service, and Kylie (our waitress). We ordered burgers, fish, fettuccine alfredo, chicken/pasta, boneless wings, fries, baked potato, okra, and slaw. For appetizers, we ordered cheese curds, and fried pickles. We’d order everything all over again without hesitation. Prices were reasonable and portion of plates were great. The atmosphere was family friendly. Overall, kudos! We’ll be back next time we’re in town.”

“We were visiting from out of town and wanted pizza at a pizzeria. We googled to find options close by with decent ratings. The name of this place caught my eye and the reviews were good. So we gave it a try. We got 2 small pizzas, mozz sticks, fries and 5 sodas and it was only around $50. That seemed extreme reasonably priced to us. The food was phenomenal! The fresh cut fries were cooked to perfection and the basket was huge. The mozz sticks were what you would expect. The pizzas had us all talking about how good they were. I'm picky about my pizza sauce because it can make or break a pizza and this this sauce was soooo good! We are hoping to find time to get back by before we leave. And the owners were the sweetest! They also had this fun little map where you could put a pin in to show where you travelled from!”

“I absolutely love Healthy Balance! I had major surgery on my foot, which required 12 weeks of recovery/ rehab, no weight bearing. Healthy Balance has been a lifesaver! Delicious, homemade frozen meals, that require no prep! Just heat and serve. We buy 10 ant a time and keep them in our freezer. We eat them about 3 times a week… the owners are delightful, and helpful!
The restaurant itself is very pleasant, and has a lovely, creative menu of fresh meals. We highly recommend this local, family owned restaurant, whether you eat in, or need some home cooked frozen meals. We are so blessed to have them!”

However, there are some customers that just come in from other states (tourist) who come in and disrespect not only the restaurant , but the peace of others, during lunch. “Went on a side quest to Central Coffee and Crumb in downtown Sevierville. They currently have fall specials; I tried the Pumpkin Spice latte and the Apple Orchard Harvest. Normally I am a hardcore pumpkin girl, BUT, the Apple Orchard Harvest was my favorite! It was like fall in a cup; the perfect amount of apple and caramel but the brown sugar provided the depth that brought everything together. 🥰🥰 I highly recommend this place! 100/10”

Those hybrid ones are gross with the stuff all fried in the same grease and tainting the taste of the fish, crumbs, and fries. “We tried Bigfoot Philly Cheesesteak for the first time today. It was absolutely delicious! My husband got the 6” chicken bacon ranch and it was HUGE! It was packed with meat! It was really good. I got the loaded Mac n cheese meal. It had homemade Mac n cheese (7 kinds of cheeses🤤), bacon and pulled pork. I would rather pay for REAL, homemade food versus paying for fast food crap. We will DEFINITELY be back every single time.”

“Today 5/30/26 we encountered the rudest group of individuals dining during lunch. They were being 100% disrespectful to the employee running the front area. I wish I had gotten her name but she handled the situation with complete grace. To those individuals, you should be ashamed for bringing your no home training to a public place.”

“I went on vacation and forgot to order my daughter’s birthday cake ahead of time. The day before her birthday, I stopped at Baskin-Robbins, but unfortunately, the cakes were already pre-made and they couldn’t add the “Happy Birthday” message. The staff was so polite and helpful and even directed me to a Dairy Queen about 15 minutes away.
When we got to Dairy Queen, my daughter found an Oreo cake she absolutely loved, so that was already a win! Then she asked, “Dad, can I get Happy Birthday on it?” I asked the young lady at the counter, and she explained that the decorator had already left for the day, but she offered to give us something we could use to write on the cake ourselves. I completely understood since it was after 6:30 PM, and I appreciated her kindness.
Then, sitting in a booth nearby, was Ms. Tamara. I had no idea she worked there. She asked what my daughter wanted written on the cake. My daughter said, “Happy Birthday” and her name. Ms. Tamara simply said, “I’ll do it.”
The cashier even asked her, “Do you know how to do it?” Ms. Tamara just looked at her and smiled. 😂
When the cake came back, it was PERFECT! It was exactly what my daughter wanted and perfect for a preteen. ❤
Sometimes it’s the simplest acts of kindness that create the best memories. Ms. Tamara didn’t have to do that, but she chose to. As a nurse, I know firsthand that sometimes helping someone doesn’t have to be something huge it’s about showing kindness when you have the opportunity.
Ms. Tamara, you truly saved the day for us. You helped make my daughter’s birthday special, and I appreciate you more than you know.

“We come to the area a lot. We have never stopped until today. We got wings and they were amazing. All of the food is homemade. Sweet potatoe casserole, fresh cut fries, banana pudding, and mashed potatoes are all amazing. We will definitely be back.”

“We came here two days in a row for dinner. Food was surprisingly tasty! The place was small but it had soup, dishes, salads, deserts, fruits, almost everything you can think of. They even have a grill corner where you can customize dishes and let chef make it on the fly! Overall good food, friendly staff, inexpensive, best Chinese food we had around Pigeon Forge!!”
