“Our family had a great time visiting English Mountain Trout Farm last weekend. The outdoor space around the trout farm was pretty and had shady spots for us to avoid the hot sun while we fished. The staff were friendly and helpful and ensured we all got a great catch! It was great for adults and kids. All of us enjoyed our time and we plan to come back! We all got the blackened trout and it was delicious. Worth the price for the experience and a tasty lunch. Seating was comfortable and it was a nice place (off the beaten path) to spend a couple of hours. Parking spaces are limited, so come early during busy seasons!”

“We stop at El Primo everytime we are in the area. The food is authentic and delicious, and the portions are generous. It is also very fairly priced. Their horcheta, melon water, and pineapple water are great. The sopes, carnitas, and barbecoa are a few of our favorites. In addition to the delicious food, they have a wide variety of snacks, drinks, fresh vegetables, and meats.”

I was quoted 45-55 to minutes, which is amazing considering it is a saturday night and that she delivered our food in 30 minutes!”

We moved here 3 years ago from Southern California and fell in love with the Local as we live right up the street, for 2 years we had dinner there every Friday night and loved the entertainment,during football season we were there every Saturday and Sunday for lunch or dinner for Football, we stopped going for dinner on Fridays when the menu changed, but still stopped in on a Saturday or Sunday for lunch and cocktails, yesterday Saturday the first home Vols game they did not have,so no more Saturdays because we can watch it at home but really enjoyed watching it at the Local, so we watched it at home, today we went to the Local to watch the Saints game and have lunch, they we very short handed and couldn't get the Saints game, we are so disappointed in the Local Eatery that we will NEVER patronize them again, it amazes me how in 1 year a Local staple can go from being a place that local Boyd's Creek residents gathered to enjoy friends and family to a restaurant that is such a disappointment.”

“We went tonight for my mom’s birthday and our Waitress, Jen, was absolutely AMAZING!!! She interacted with all of us so well and cut up and chatted with us and we never had to “want” for anything. She already got it haha the drinks were never empty and we never had to ask for sauce or Anything! And the food was perfect as usual. “Gorgeous modern farmhouse setting. Lots of seating and bright light shining in. Located right next to SkyLand Ranch on Pigeon Forge’s main parkway. Portions are ginormous. Loved everything including the biscuits and hearty griddle cakes. Little bit of something for everyone!”

“Service was horrible . You weren’t busy had to ask 3 times for water. Cop an attitude. The host is in the wrong location . She can’t see people walking in. Even when they did she never went around to greet customers. She was on her on phone .”

“We ordered the chicken cordon bleu and the country fried steak. We chose fried okra, stuffing, and mashed potatoes for sides.

The meal came with 4 apple fritters as appetizers, with apple butter on the side. They were fabulous! Best part of the meal. They also brought us out complementary apple juleps, which were okay, but were watered down from the ice served with them.

Our waitress was very friendly and gave exceptional service.

My cordon bleu was served in large proportion and was very delicious. My husband remarked that his country fried steak was good, but not as good as he has had before. The mashed potatoes were exceptional, but the dressing was pretty bland and the okra, although it was crispy, didn’t have much flavor.

The sides were “all you can eat”, so you wouldn’t leave hungry!

There was a complimentary dessert at the end of the meal. I ordered apple cobbler and my husband got the spiced apple cake. Both were small portions and did not mirror the exceptional taste of the cobbler that was served at the Apple Valley Creamery down the way…. My husband said the cake was “okay”. You definitely get a lot of food, but the taste is really only 4 out of 5 stars.”

It’s refreshing to find a place that truly cares about safe, healthy, and great-tasting options. Highly recommend this location!”

“Stephanie is amazing. She made a German Chocolate cake for my mom's 70th birthday. It was huge and well worth the price. The grandkids loved it. She even had a cake topper on there for us. Definitely worth ordering from her and will use Stephanie again when we come back into town.”

“Food was good. Not too different from some of the best we’ve had. But service could be improved. After drinks we had to wait a while to get someone to take our order even though we were ready. Not that there were nobody in sight but a bunch including the one that finally came over were folding napkins and engaged in a boisterous conversation right next table. We were never given the option of flour/corn tortillas and we forgot as well. After food was served we wanted ask for corn tortillas as one of us has gluten allergy. Again took way too long for someone to show up. We even signaled someone in that table folding napkins he had to call someone and after quite a while someone showed up inquiring how’s everything. When we retorted with “we need corn” tortillas he seemed quite taken aback. As if we deviated from the script - “good” with a mouthful. But eventually he brought corn tortillas. By the time we had finished there were no water refills. It felt like that table was abandoned by the assigned host and others were half heartedly chipping in because someone made us sit there. Anyways we got out.”

I didn't catch her name, but she was incredibly sweet, friendly, and truly made my morning. However, there are some customers that just come in from other states (tourist) who come in and disrespect not only the restaurant , but the peace of others, during lunch. “My buddy Roo works here and kept telling me how good the food was, so I had to try it. The dinning area was small with tvs on the wall. They had music playing a little loud but not so loud you couldn't think or have a conversation. Chloe was great, she took my order and answered all my questions. I went with the penne alla vodka w/ chicken and shrimp and the garlic cheese bread. I can't even describe how good this food was. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauce was on point. Creamy, savory and slightly sweet. The chicken was so tender and the shrimp were huge. Best pasta I've had around here and the price was even better. Don't pass this place up.”

“Guys with Eats was wonderful to work with for our 72-person family reunion at Tremont Lodge in Townsend last week. They catered a sandwich night and a pizza/salad/fruit night, and both were big hits. This was a very affordable and super-satisfying experience for us. The food was delivered exactly on time, fresh and ready to eat, and super delicious. The fresh seasonal fruit tray was a surprising hit--every piece of fruit fresh and bursting with flavor. The sandwiches left no one hungry, and the cookies delivered with them were extra yummy. Brandon, who guided us through the ordering in the weeks before was a delight to work with and made the process painless. He answered all questions in a timely manner and made great suggestions while working within our budget. One of the evenings, they had to deliver in a rain storm, and in the middle of our family pictures. They did so with smiles on their faces and worked with the table space we had at that moment which I was so grateful for. I highly recommend using Guys with Eats for Catering--you won't be disappointed! I want to go back and try more selections on site! Keep up the good work, Guys with Eats!”

“It’s a real Long John Silver’s, not one that’s half a Taco Bell or a KFC. Those hybrid ones are gross with the stuff all fried in the same grease and tainting the taste of the fish, crumbs, and fries.
