“The food was ok, service ok. The waiter forgot a few things. The price doesn't match the quality of food. Tried the link you sent, to many hoops to get to more details. Food just didn't have too much flavor, waiter forgot to bring Granddaughters more juice and one food item.“
“Absolutely wonderful experience! We went around 2-3 pm and was not too busy. $5 to fish and $25 for the platter per person. Delicious food. Met the owners. Very down to earth and felt like family. Would be wonderful to have this experience closer to Chattanooga.“
“This restaurant wins hands-down. You can't get much better. The food.... breakfast - those apple hush-puppy things (forgot the name) and that apple butter? Sinfully good. The biscuits & gravy, pancakes with those toppings are top-notch. The service - everyone dressed like country cooks, plus they don't overload the servers with too many tables to handle at any time. Atmosphere - come on.... how much better could it get?? An old country house style restaurant that is just a pretty and beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside. The fire pit, the porch rocking chairs, the heater.... Don't miss this one-of-a-kind restaurant.“
“The food was good for a buffet, but I can't complain. Service is great. They kept the buffet stocked up and never had to ask for anything. Helen was our waitress, and she was awesome. I asked her the first time there if they had a strawberry pie, and they were out of strawberries. Today, I asked her as a joke, but they did have one, and she made it for me. Was great. Will go again.Parking: It's parkingKid-friendliness: What is there to say kids love cereal and breakfast barsWheelchair accessibility: Has a ramp“
“In this day and age it is hard to find a place that has good food and good service but this place has cornered the market on both!!I dropped in just to pick up a few biscuits for my daughter, who loves their food, since she could not be on this trip.Even though they were extremely busy, they took time to grab a few biscuits for me to take back to Charlotte, NC“
“Resturant serves Southern style breakfast and dinners. You can get breakfast at any time of the day. The store has hard to find items from yesterday years and old time remedies. Seasonal items are here as well for different times of the year. They have candies and collegic items. Country style wardrobe items as well.Vegetarian options: Country sides that include hash brown casserole, green beans, butter beans, ect.Kid-friendliness: Had kid menu as well“
“We went there for Easter dinner. The food was good; our plates had plenty of ham. The mashed potatoes were good, although my son thought that they used instant potatoes. I disagreed. The Italian green beans were overcooked (my guess is that they were sitting on a steam table). The heavy glazed terracotta plates they use absorb the heat from the food, causing the food to cool quickly. I suggest that they preheat the plates.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy wheelchair access.“
“I'd like to say the staff is excellent. From the very friendly manager that greeted us, our excellent waiter and Donna who seated us. We want to thank her for her kindness when she found out that my wife's uncle had passed away. The family and church were very grateful.“
“Absolutely loved this place. The food was amazing, the family that owns and operates it were super friendly. Enjoyed hearing them singing in the kitchen while they cooked our breakfast. 100% recommend. Came back again a year later and it's still absolutely amazing.“
“It was confusing at first. You walk up to the menu and decide what you want, pay and get your own soft drinks , tea. If you want a bar drink there is a bar or you can order that once you sit down. The bbq brisket sandwich was great. We would go back. Portion size good. Staff friendly“
“The best pork chop (i had the garden herb and garlic sauce) I've had in a very long time. Service was prompt and I loved the large mason jar of sweet tea. My husband had the catfish and shrimp with garden herb and garlic he enjoyed them and all the vittles.Wheelchair accessibility: Nice ramp and open space, the parking lot is sloped so park near the door“
“Biscuits delicious! Grilled chicken tenders dinner very good with generous portions. There were 4 of us and everyone was pleased with their dinners and the service. We had a late dinner, 8pm, so plenty of parking and relatively quiet in the restaurant at that hour, (they close at 9pm). Will definitely go back.“
“The wait was crazy long... literally 1h, 15mins after being told 45min wait. And when we were eventually seated after 12pm there was very few people in the restaurant. They could do with more staff to be able to serve at capacity. But the food was very good; pretty much all of us had chicken tenders. It was reasonably priced and we enjoyed the singing chicken animatronics... just wish they'd been a little more interactive or ongoing.“
“This place was absolutely amazing! The service was phenomenal and the food was absolutely terrific! Honestly the worst part was probably the hour and a half wait for our table but honestly it was well worth it! You can shop the downstairs while you wait and there’s seating outside to wait as well!“
“We absolutely enjoy taking our grandchildren there. They love the breakfast and the storeParking: This cracker barrel is located across from a minor league baseball stadium. Check the teams schedule because it'll get very busy.Kid-friendliness: The dining room is decorated with an eclectic collection of antiques. The kids like to play checkers by the fireplace. They also have an interesting game in each table to test your brain power. The store has a decent collection of toys and other great gift ideas. The old school candy selection is amazing.“
“The food was good and great price! The staff and service was awesome. The atmosphere was family oriented. I would eat there again. We plan to tell friends about this great restaurant. No waiting for a table was a plus.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly environment.“
“We live in Canada and visit Cracker Barrel's once an a while when on roadtrips in our RV going thru the USA. They have reasonably good food and also we can overnight park with our RV. At this restaurant we had an exceptionally wonderful server. Great service and very quick ?“
“If you stop one place to eat in Pigeon Forge this should be your place! Stopped here for lunch on a day trip to Pigeon Forge. We wanted some good southern, Appalachian food and they did not disappoint! The biscuits and jam were some of the best I’ve had (as good as my grandma makes!) and their meats and sides were all homemade and wonderful.“
“If you have never eaten at one of these restaurants you have missed a great experience, have tried most of the menu and have never had a bad experience, try the chips and cheese to start then get the baby back ribs. Chips and queso with seasoned beef is delicious.Update 4-24-2024Have not eaten here in a couple years, glad I tried them again, food was delicious, service was outstanding and the restaurant was very clean, if you haven't been in a while, give them a try you won't be disappointed.“
“Our reservation was based on a buffet that we did not get. We wanted prime rib and the web site advertised that. Apparently everything changed with no notice. The menu was good except for dessert. Banana pudding with imitation banana mix.. Really??? It's a little insulting to pay 40+ per person to get desserts like this and no buffet to save the corporation a few bucks. This is not a good look! The chocolate pudding same thing imitation chocolate mix. Not a fan! Maybe rethink obvious amateur moments in the future not a good look“
“I took my leadership team of 12 here for a special dinner and it was close to perfect. Food was great and Zach our waiter was awesome! He made sure we had everything needed, but wasn't overbearing by stopping at the table every couple minutes. Only negative is their reservation system. Couldn't get a reservation online for 13 and it was difficult to get someone on the phone. Almost went somewhere else because of this. Great ambiance! Maybe they could be a bit more generous with their sides....“
