Went this past weekend and had a blast! The atmosphere, food, and drinks are a 10 in my opinion! The service is really top notch. Cool and unique house.

The drinks were pretty good, nice bartender, and good vibes with a small crowd on a Sunday night. I think the house and the location are very cool...it just seems like something with the ambience is a bit off. Maybe I'm picky, but I see a huge opportunity to bring in antique tables and chairs, decorate the walls, and really cultivate a fabulous ambience in here. To be clear, I'm sure I'll be back and I'm not saying don't visit, because I think it is great for Spring Hill to have a cocktail bar. I just feel like it could really be made to feel like a special experience with some decor or furniture that feels a little higher end or "handpicked" for the space I guess is what I'm trying to say. I didn't have an opportunity to try the food this time, but the food menu did look really good!

I'm torn on this review. Let me start off by saying that the owner and bartender that we met were fantastic. The drinks and small plates that we had were also amazing. But they need to work on the atmosphere. This place has so much history and SO much potential, but the lack of decor really takes away from the experience. A small game room with different LED bulbs in the chandelier (some bright white, some soft white) was really weird. Electric fireplaces tucked into real fireplaces with extension cords exposed. Nothing on the walls.I am only mentioning these because I hope ownership will see and make some changes. The room with the bar is really the best spot in the place with a gorgeous stained glass window and a real craftsman-style, wooden spiral staircase. We need a place like Magnolia's Hideaway in Spring Hill and we'll be back again because the people are so nice.

Went with a group last night and loved this place! Rachel was a great bartender! Food was hot and delicious, drinks were creative. Will be back.

Stopped in to have a couple beverages and a small bite to eat. Could not have loved this place more!! The bartender, Rachel, was super friendly, the drinks were delicious, and the Gouda Bacon Dip was to die for! They have limited hours, but it's definitely worth a stop. The live music was also a wonderful perk.

Super cute venue, it was toasty and elegant on a cold day and the food was very good. Paulie and Dayja (sorry if I butchered those) were wonderful! It was cold and rainy outside and all the kids were restless and acting like animals- sorry again. They were very patient with them and Paulie even played musical chairs with them.

Was sad to see The Mockingbird change to events only. We used to love coming here for date nights. Always great service and great food. Hopefully they have an event we can make soon. Will be coming to the open house to see all the changes!

We went to the shrimp festival and even though it rained, we still had a great time. Shrimp and grits was so good! Sangria was so good! Radio Farm was excellent and we even bought some local honey. Great local business!

They did a lovely job on my niece's baby shower. Food by caterer was so yummy. Tara did a great job with the decorations. Beautiful house.

Horrible. I purchased two tickets for their Valentine's Day murder mystery and THEY cancelled the event two days beforehand. They NEVER GAVE ME A REFUND. Keep in mind that they NEVER EVER stated on their tickets they emailed me that they could cancel without notice and did not issue refunds. Had I known this was even a remote possibility, I never would have considered this place. Now I'm out $160, and the manager, GM, or whoever monitors their phones & emails is completely unresponsive. I detest shady businesses like this. So underhanded and slimy. Do not ever give these people your business.

This was my go to takeout place during Covid but it's changed and I haven't been in a while. Hope they get their act together. Also, they took my favorite item OFF the menu.

I'm giving them 3 stars because I know they want to do good, I think they were really hit hard by Covid and supply chain issues so I want to be mindful of that. Probably also having staffing issues because when I went in there weren't a lot of servers so I stood at the entrance for a while. Anyways the good: I got the pork chop and it was sooo good. Very happy with that. My wife got beef medallions and they did let us down. Very small for the price. They are 4oz but by the time they are cooked they shrivel down to nothing so the plate looked empty. I would honestly suggest reinventing this plate because it has potential with some different sides to be really good. For the price I would just want more out of it. The restaurant is cute, it has a nice ambiance.

We've been to the Mockingbird twice now and have loved it both times. Everything is made fresh in house and you can really tell. The drinks are great! My friend loved the old fashioned. The peach pork chop was also an amazing dish! Can't complain about the service either. We will definitely keep coming back.
