“I don’t know what’s happened at this location in the last month, but they seem to have had a total glow up. I am just loving every single new staff member. So nice, very helpful, and just a genuine, pleasant interaction. My favorite is the lady who calls me sweet girl every time, and it always brightens my day. Highly recommend ordering through the app, never takes me longer than two minutes to pick it up.”
“First time diners at this restaurant but we'll be back. We had the pork chop and the steak - both were done just as we ordered - these are substantial servings. We shared the red Thai curry steamed PEI mussels - an interesting riff on the typical PEI mussels appetizer - though not as spicy as I had hoped - I'll ask about that next time. Modest wine list but we selected a cabernet we both enjoyed. Service was engaging and competent - all-in-all, a good meal and a good time.”
“A trip back to the golden age of nightclubs. A real prohibition/film noir vibe. Top flight warm and friendly service from bar and waiting staff. Bar manager Rhys is right across the whole operation. Also really knowledgeable about the cultural history of the venue - which has been rocking it since 1948. Incredible music from sax player / Nat King Cole voiced Derek Williams, plus singers Laura Mayo and Dianne Sherrill fronting a superb jazz combo led by a highly charismatic pianist. The burlesque show is end to end class with elegance and humour balanced perfectly by co producers Jonny Gowow (musical director) and Tessa Mendoza (hostess / lead dancer). Food also of equally high standard. The prime rib is a near religious experience!”
“The coffee! The coffee! As an Aussie, I actually went looking for a place like this and I’m posting before my breakfast arrives. Make sure this is on your brunch or breakfast list. You won’t regret it.”
“We met a friend here on our way back from the midwest. This was our halfway point. The kitchen closed before we arrived, but the staff let my friend order before it closed so we could have a meal ready for us upon arrival. The staff was super friendly and made meal suggestions. The food was delicious!!! As were the drinks. The staff was so nice and accommodated all our needs. We tried appetizers, main dishes, and dessert as well. I wanted my belly to expand just so I could eat more. Loved the decor and atmosphere. Will come here again when passing through Nashville!!!”
“I had heard a lot about this place and figured I had to try it out. Everyone was ranting and raving about it. When I walked up, the line was already out the door, so I thought this would be a good thing. I was originally planning on dining in, but after a while I decided to take it to go and eat back at my hotel. Also I was disappointed that they ran out of ice cream and I couldn't try the root beer float.• Lets start with the chicken. It has some good flavor. I grabbed the mild version and it had a little spice (wasn't trying to destroy my stomach for the next two days in case anyone is wondering) and overall decent flavor.• The fries were very delicious in my opinion, one of the best parts of the meal.• Now the not so great part, the desserts. The peach cobbler was less than desirable, I'm no chef but I feel like a little cinnamon in that would go a long way. It had no taste to it, I took about 4 bites and pushed it to the side. The banana pudding was pretty decent, I just expected a lot more out of it since it was hyped up so much. All in all, I would eat here again, to try out the sandwich and possibly get my hands on a root beer float. I would also recommend this place especially if you like spicy chicken. I imagine the last two heat levels are keeping Tums and Rolaids in business.”
“Honestly one of the best restaurants in Nashville! The quality of the food is to die for. My top 4 items are the: spicy tuna crispy rice, lobster bao buns, wagyu tartare, and the wood fired edamame. The customer service is impeccable. Someone is always coming over to ensure everything is running smoothly. I have been there 4x since they opened and I'm looking forward to going back!”
“Was visiting a friend in Nashville who had this place on his list of must-try restaurants. I knew it had to be good. Counter service ordering is at the outside window. Lots of outdoor seating and a good amount of inside seating as well. Our tacos were delicious. I ordered the fried fish taco and the spicy carne (my personal fave from the experience). We stopped here for a quick casual dinner before other stops in the night and were not disappointed at all. Good price point, great eats, and easy to please even the picky eaters in our party.”
“Had our first dine in experience at Big Al’s today. The food was delicious with generous portions and very well seasoned. Seating is limited so either plan to go in earlier or be patient. AJ was super knowledgeable of the menu and Chef D was very friendly. Al himself came by the table before we left. We tried the fried chicken sandwich, fried catfish, turnip greens and skillet beans.”
“Fantastic place to hang out, eat, drink, and play a great selection of pinball and arcade games! Their staff is very welcoming and accomodating. Brett, in particular, was a wealth of retro gaming information. It was fun geeking out with him over the pinball machines. Highly recommend, especially with a group!”
“For sure THE most amazing food in all TN! The depth of the flavor profile and the variety of delicious dishes are outstanding! The barkeeper and his assistant were super friendly and helpful as well! Their pork ribeye is out of this world - the deep aromatic charcoal flavor and the butter-soft texture of the meat are worth a visit! I highly recommend etc!”
“This is a really cool spot to grab food, drinks, or just chill. The Nashville hot chicken here was way better than Hattie B's. Great vibe overall, not too loud even when crowded. Bartenders were super nice too. Went back a few times during the weekend to snack”
“The best restaurant and experience in NashvilleDietary restrictions: Perfect for everybody! Friendly for all dietary restrictions!Great experience and ambience. You leave the restaurant with your stomach and soul full of happiness.”
“Went here on a date night while in town and the food blew us away. The roasted carrots for the appetizer set a high bar, we got the chicken schnitzel and porchetta along with our drinks (the rocco and the baloo) kept us in high spirits.”
“Pretty good! Ava a great heat level at Medium!I ordered the chicken and waffles with fries. And it was all good. Waffle was a great size, the tenders were huge, fries were plentiful and seasoned.”
“We had a group of 8 and had a preset family style menu. Everything was delicious and they were very accommodating to any food allergies by providing substitutes. Service was fast and really professional.”
“Always delicious. Always creative. The warmth of the staff, the consistency of the quality of the food, the overall vibe - our favorite restaurant in Nashville. ♥️”
“worst service ever any Indian restaurant offers will never visit again ...bunch of idiots working as waiters place seems to be unhygienic...very dirty and unclean customer better be careful you may end up upsetting your stomach”
“We were in Nashville for a few days and The Treehouse was near our stay. We decided to pop in for dinner and our meal was delicious. Tanner, our server, was very attentive and knowledgeable. His recommendations were great and we enjoyed the atmosphere and food. My husband had the chicken (bring your appetite - it is huge!) and I had the gnocchi. We also enjoyed the burrata starter. We hope to return again when the weather is nice and enjoy their large outdoor space.”
“We tried Henrietta Red today, based on a recommendation from Southern Living magazine. Everything we had was delicious. I had the roasted oysters with tomato chili sauce, gulf shrimp, and my husband had the sourdough French Toast. It was all delicious! Highly recommend!!!”
“This was our first time going some super fancy. The atmosphere was absolutely breathtaking and the skyline view of Nashville! The service was fantastic and our server was so helpful with helping us decide what to get!! Lastly the food was HEAVENLY, will definitely go back again”
“Curated cocktails working with the patron to develop a real visceral experience. And it’s off Broadway which is why it took me so long to find as I don’t do the touristy things. Learned that they’ve been here 15 years crafting true cocktails. Sad it took me so long to find! Sam and Brandy - amazing bartenders. Cocktail creation is stellar and that’s where this place shines - not off the beaten path just for fun, but truly putting thought and science behind creating an EXPERIENCE.So Sam worked with me to find my tastes - sampling products along the way to dial in to ensure I would enjoy his creations. And enjoy I did… spectacular experience! While sad that Fable closed, happy to find this gem. It’s strange to me that there are so many tourist bars around here so not sure who will find this review but if you have a developed palette and care about your drink, go to Patterson House and just enjoy the ride…”
“Went to celebrate my Birthday. Was treated like we were royalty. Service and food was excellent. Brussel sprouts were the best ever. Chicken pot pie to die for. Meat loaf was great. Burgers awesome.”
“Everything came out great! The staff was very attentive to my gluten free needs. The corn ribs were really good. The steak was also perfectly done. Anything with creme fresh is yummy in my book.”
“Had the bread and ombré cheese; farro and local mushrooms, trout; lamb; chocolate mousse and peach sorbet. Excellent food. Impeccable, relatable service. Nice ambiance. One negative- when the front door opened, a draft swept through. Loved our special 39th Valentines Day.”
“Delicious food. Chill vibe. HIT THE SPOT!! The pad Thai was amazing! Super flavorful; big portion; the lime and bean sprouts were the perfect added touch. The noodles were the perfect texture. Also the tables were very clean which is impressive for a busy, quick service restaurant.”
“Visiting the city and stumble upon this location and really loved the food and portions. The gyro was full of flavor, one of the best I had so far!!The person was sweet and really eager to make sure we left happy with our food.Definitely recommend!!”
“So far is the best authentic Italian place in Nashville. All is prepared from scratch, the gelato and everything is delicious!Parking: Open space and plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: Yes”
“It’s our second time in this restaurant and we love it. That is the most authentic Mexican food I ate besides Texas. The chips and the salsa are delicious, and our server is amazing.”
