Worth the drive or detour to taste Ms Davis’ outstanding cooking! We had the mouth watering biscuits and gravy and heavenly French Toast! The restaurant was filled with people eating pancakes and eggs and having a nice time. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming to all people! This is a safe space for every color of the rainbow. Try out this little gem on your travels !

Sue Bob’s is a place where things are simple and kept simple. It’s been at least 5 years since my last visit and the only upgrades to the venue are the prices in the menu. My biggest issue is their take on social issues that are best left to other venues and discussion. I prefer my Cat’s Head biscuit with a side of jam, not politics. This place is a simple country type restaurant serving southern breakfast. The value for the money is okay. They’re biscuits are better than most.

My wife and I are Italian, and we took a 3.000 mile road trip across the southeastern US. We ate at different restaurants every single day, but we never found the warm welcome we received at SUEBOB'S. It was a real pleasure for us to eat there, because they made us feel at home. The food is simple, fresh and tasty. The service is very friendly and attentive. After lunch, they even told us to call them for anything we might need while we were in their area. In a single word: fantastic!

My wife and I visited this restaurant while out riding about and looking at the fall colors. We live about an hour away in North Georgia and had never been to this area before. Sue Bob’s certainly looks like a great local place to eat from the outside and is very neat and clean on the inside. The restaurant has about 4-5 bar seats beside the cash register and also features a large dessert display case that is filled with several homemade cakes, pies and other assorted sweets. We sat down at the restaurant at about 12:30 on a Saturday and were promptly greeted and tended to by a server. We were told that breakfast was being served all day and that there was limited availability of other items on the menu. Only the soups and sandwiches portion of the menu was available along with the breakfast items. My wife and I both ordered a hot ham and cheese sandwich, which is served with an adequate portion of ham along with provolone cheese. The sandwich also had mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato and pickle. The menu indicated that the sandwich came with chips or waffle fries. All in all, the sandwich was very good - both my wife and I enjoyed it. My wife’s potatoes (diced and fried) were okay but a little bland. My waffle fries were good. The only real drawback to the whole experience was the cost. Our bill was $21.70 and with a tip, rounded up to $26.00. While both the food and service were good, the total cost was a little high for the amount and quality of food received. If and when we go back to this area (Suck Creek Mountain is a fantastic place to see fall colors), we would likely eat here again. I’d like to try some of the other items on the menu and maybe some of those good-looking desserts as I’m sure they are very good.

We enjoyed delicious breakfasts here. The bacon was crisp as we like it and my husband especially enjoyed the whole-wheat toast that tasted like homemade bread. My side of biscuits and gravy was a generous proportion and really good. Our waitress was attentive and service was fast. We will be back. It was so worth a little diversion from I-24.

I am ADDICTED to SueBobs diner in Powell Crossroads TN! Please don’t yourself a favor and stop for a meal .....any meal. I personally prefer the “ Henhouse Burger”....trust me on that one. Make sure and ask for Anna Lee Harbison for your server.....best we have ever experienced in any restaurant. Remembers your name , where you sat and what you had last visit and totally engaging the whole meal .

This out of the way place was close to the remote home we rented. Food was hot, good, and relatively fast. The desserts tasted home-made. Very pleased with our choice for dinner.
