“I spent about a whole 10min in here, from my ordering process, to eating, to leaving. 10 minutes. Now, let me tell you why.I picked my option at the counter, the nice gentleman's inside, plated my order and asked about all the toppings and sauces I wanted. I went with their spicy BBQ on the side. ( I love everything spicy, the hotter it is, the tastier for me. ) I had a half chicken plate with green beans and sliced potatoes. The chicken (plain) without the sauce, was super juicy and tasty. WITH the sauce. My mind was BLOWN. Not only was it super full of flavor, but it was actually spicy. I loved every bite. My fork never met the table again. Which is why it only took me the remainder of my 10min to scarf my food down. This place is a must try! ? staff was super friendly, the food was immaculate and the area was cute and super clean. ? I don't mind traveling the hour to come back here.”

“We have been when there is no line and we have been when there is a line out the door, and each time the food is delicious. Fairly priced, this is a very popular stop for the bakery and you can also get gas and small other items. Highly suggest you planned this part of your trip because you were going to want to take food with you! “I was questioning this place as I was pulling up. I saw a basic, square building. All that changed as I stepped up to the door. Even before I stepped in the smell of deliciousness tickled my nose. The inside decor made me feel like I was in a cozy farmhouse. We ordered the Rill Tide Fries and a regular burger. Everything was good. One item that I wish they had was Roll Tide Tators. Just a thought guys. I will definitely have to order a double double next time.”

“The ambiance of the place is kind of dingy inside. Needs to be upgraded. The pastries and kolaches were nicely displayed though. They were fresh and delicious. The employees are ok. Not as friendly but did their job.”

“Slovaceks has decent baked goods. Sausage is good. Beware of brisket (ask for it to be trimmed well of fat). Good selection of highway rest stop commercial items of many types. Good place to stop before hitting the Waco area if you are Southbound on I-35.”

“It is the same as I remember. Still delicious! Fries are the way I remember as well as the cheese burger. It brought so many memories back to when I was a child. Loved standing, waiting, and excited to try my food. I am glad I stopped by before traveling home.”

“Second time I've had food from this restaurant. First time I had their large CFS and I could barely walk out of the restaurant. Today I got food to go and had the skunk egg. I was not disappointed at all!!! Well....except for the fact I can barely walk again lol. The people there are super nice and helpful and it has a very nice "hole in the wall" vibe. Perfect!!! “Alden was so sweet when helping me and my friends this morning. He misheard the name on the order, and asked again to make sure he got it right. My friend’s name is always spelt wrong and no one cares to fix it, but Alden did. He also made a point to ask what the occasion was, and asked about where me and my friends were going for a bachelorette party and congratulated my friend. It was a breath of fresh air to have a Starbucks employee seem like they really like their job and aren’t miserable, something that is rare for me when going to Starbucks. The coffee was great and our drive-thru experience was speedy. Thank you Alden for a big smile and great conversation! I definitely recommend this Starbucks for those passing through!”
