“If you ace a no-frills burger, you deserve every good thing that comes your way. I live 3.5 hours away from Abilene and was literally passing through just to transport a dog to their new home and then drive back to DFW. I needed fuel for the long trek back and thought this place looked pretty good. I am now trying to see if it would be crazy to make the drive again literally just for this burger. The place was packed at lunch time on a Saturday. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and spicy fries. I waited 30 minutes and started to get kind of annoyed it was taking so long but I take EVERY BAD THOUGHT back as soon as I tasted the food. The burger was delicious. Everything tasted so fresh and it didn't leave me feeling gross and greasy like burgers tend to do. The "spicy" in the fries just means they're seasoned to the max with peppers. They also were extremely fresh, perfectly crisp, and I left no crumbs while I took my time enjoying them. If you live nearby and haven't been here, you are doing yourself a disservice.“
“This brewery is one of my absolute favorites! I have visited lots of breweries and this is by far the best! I am not a big beer drinker but this brewery had me loving it! If you get a chance check this place out! Management was vey informative and super friendly.“
“I've only been here once. But it was on Thanksgiving. All the clientel and staff were very nice and positive. They were deep frying a turkey and were having fun doing it. I'd highly recommend this place to others and i'll definitely be back for more.“

“This place is GOLDEN! Came here for a late lunch with my folks while I was in town. I wish it could give it 10 stars! Chips are like none I’ve ever had before. I knew this place would be good based off the chips and salsa and queso. Amazing! I had the chicken fajita lunch plate and was very pleasantly surprised at the portion size for the price. Taste was awesome and service was top notch! I will definitely be back when I visit Abilene!“
“Came in from out of town a few days ago and Googled bars with food and Spanky P's come up. The service was very quick for a Friday night and the bartenders Caitlin and Phil were very attentive. Asked what was good on the menu, and they suggested buffalo lemon pepper wings and they were AMAZING! Definitely will be coming back next time I'm in town.“
“First time eating here, and it was phenomenal. I had their classic burger, and my wife had their hot ham and cheese. The burger was cooked to perfection, and was seasoned very well. The hot ham and cheese sub was fresh and very well seasoned. Also ordered a side of their cheese balls, bested tasting cheese bites we've ever had. Most definitely need to try this pub and grill.“
“Great place! Positive atmosphere and the staff/bartenders are great. Shiner is cold and the musicians are great when they come. Only complaint I have is that the seating needs improvement. The chairs they have aren’t meant to be sat in for a long time and you find yourself slipping on the tall metal chairs they have.“

“OLDEST BAR in Abilene!! Small dive bar where the bartender and the people are friendly. Drink prices are low priced, but don't expect anything fancy. If they have it, they'll make it. Beer, mixed drinks, shooters, and chips. Some days they'll have a table with free food for paying customers. An "AMI" jukebox is available, and sometimes live entertainment is playing on Friday or Saturday. Never a Cover Charge!“
“Made a reservation ahead of time. Beer was amazing. Food was amazing. Only thing not very good was the ceaser salad. Lacked a lot of flavor, needed seasoning, more salt in the dressing. Mozzarella sticks were 10/10. Service was good, server was very attentive. Atmosphere was great.“
