First and foremost, the pictures in this notice are not this current restaurant. The food is awesome, but if you are in a hurry, don't stop. Food is made to order, and there are folks there from open to close, so service is slow but worth the wait. The atmosphere is one of the reasons I love coming home. People are saying hello, having conversations, and everyone is a friend as well as a customer
I live in Austin Texas, I can honestly say I can't find another place that can compare to AJ's Tacos. Keep up the great work, the staff members and owners are down to earth and really nice. ?

The best Tex-Mex in South Texas. I used to eat here in the late 1960’s with my dad after the cattle auction and would get the burger. Today I had the AJ special and it didn’t disappoint. It is the best Tex-Mex hands down. And the flour tortillas are the best. If you’re ever in the area stop by. You won’t be disappointed.
