“We stop at The Daily Special Cafe every time we come to Alvarado—which is often. Prices are reasonable. The Daily Special is popular with locals. It’s the food. Check out our photos to see what I mean. We always order breakfast (served all day). Based on how delicious their breakfast is, I feel confident the rest of the menu is prepared just as well. The decorations are from the “down home” design school. Lots of license plates, metal chickens, and coffee mugs. The Daily Special is in a strip center next door to Brookshire Brothers supermarket. Alvarado is conveniently located at the intersection of Interstate 35W and Hwy 67 about halfway between Fort Worth and Waco. Worth your time and money.“

“Man! First time going to a winery with my lovely wife and we couldn't have chosen a better winery. We went on a tour with our guide Colby and he was definitely the guy for the job. His knowledge regarding the history and the processes and of course the wines was the absolute top tier. I am glad we got to tour with him, thank you so much from Myranda and Armando!!!! “This has got to be one of the friendliest Papa Murphy's stores I've ever been to. They are always prompt with their service. They take care to make sure your pizza is prepared exactly the way you ordered it. I only had one problem due to a mixup in the store hours between their online app and the actual location. They took the time to call me and let me know that they would wait until I arrived even though the store had already closed. Now that is real service!Parking: Drive-thru window is available.“

“Lovely place to eat. The food was off the hook good. I have no bad things to say. Everyone was friendly and genuinely seemed to be glad you were there, from the door person, to the kitchen staff (they waved to me from the Streamline Bus that served as the kitchen) to the bar tender. It was a very busy night even by weekend standards albeit it was a Wednesday. I loved the place. The decor was very nice with vintage guitars on the wall. The people at the bar were friendly and struck up stimulating conversations. I WILL be back. It was fun.“

“I was intrigued by their name..STONECOLD SOUP caught my eye. Second step, check out their menu. I LOVE Soup and their menu pulled me in.I asked around, and they have FANS of their Broccoli Cheese Soup. I HADto check it out ! Oh my goodness..their Broccoli Cheese Soup is Delishand so was their Stone Cold Club sandwich, thick with the good stuff.It is on my Favorite List now .Check it out..it will be on yours too.“

“Who knew you could find such solid Italian food in Burleson? Place feels like a hidden gem. Dark and quiet inside, plenty of tables and booths. Servers were on top of it the entire night. Extensive menu with plenty of options. My wife and I split the tortellini bolognese and our table split a large pizza. The portions are *massive* and can easily feed 2. The tortellini was fantastic, perfectly cooked and the bolognese sauce was amazing, lighter pink ish in color and was full of flavor. Pizza was solid, crispy crust and undercarriage but it is extremely oily. Overall great experience.“

“Showed up for the live music, will be back due to the southern hospitality. I had an amazing time here. Everyone was very friendly from the time I walked in. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and two drinks while at the bar in back. The bartender I met there goes down as a all time favorite. He was friendly, lively and kept my drinks behind the bar when I went to the bathroom. Then Kim took my picture with the artist I came to see and invited me back for lunch sometime. Small hometown bar feel with the nicest people. I can't wait to visit again.“

“I came in around lunch time and it wasn’t crowded but there was a steady stream of customers before and after I entered. I ordered curry goat with rice and peas and cabbage, along with a beef patty and sorrel. The food was delicious! The meat was tender and perfectly spicy, the rice and peas could’ve had more beans but it tasted great as it was so I can’t complain. The beef patty was flaky and had a little kick to it and the sorrel was TOP TIER. I’ll definitely be back to try the oxtails next.“

“They do catering! We actually decided to have them cater our wedding, and let me tell you it was a hit! So many of our guests complemented on how good the BBQ was and how much they enjoyed it.They provide so much for the catering including sides and drinks, cutlery, plates. It really was helpful to have so many options and know that our guests would have a variety of food and drink options from them alone. In addition they did such a good job on serving the food in a quick manner and while it was hot! So if you have an event and are considering BBQ catered, I would highly recommend trying them out!“

I've been multiple times since reopening and the food, atmosphere and people have been delightful. Side note, Katarina is a heck of a server and stays on her game. “AA China super buffet in my opinion it's the best buffet I have ever been to, the food and service is great! The only thing I feel it needs improvement would've be the private room in the back, they will sit you in the back if you gave more than 6 guests, it's humid and it kinda smells.“
