Jaxon was very attentive and accommodating. The food was mostly delicious. I gave 4 stars because the grits were so watery that they were more soup than grits. The bacon was extra crispy, and a generous portion was served. Loved the bread used for toast. My friend enjoyed the banana pancakes. The colorful post it notes were interesting.

The pancakes were off today. Something was missing. Today they were kinda bland. The toast didn't seem the same quality either- dry, not buttered this time. They also ran out of decaffeinated coffee. I have to comment that this is very unusual for Red Oak. We are usually very satisfied with the food quality. On the other hand, Luke did a great job!

I am sure this one is as good as the original on Main in League City. It's just too far away for us.

They have a small menu and limited items. I was a little shocked that they didn't have feta cheese. It looked like a place they would. The Berta sandwich came with avocado. I imagine nice thick slices or enough to spread it. They placed three itty bitty pieces as decoration on top of my open sandwich.I was not a fan of the jalapeño grits. They didn't have regular grits as an option, but I also didn't ask if I could substitute since I wanted to try those out.Not a good experience. However, I am open to going back when I feel like like eating pancakes/waffle or something fuller other than a light breakfast.Service was decent. The waiter didn't rush me and answered my questions.

5/5 stars. Blown away by the food, the service, the overall experience. My husband and I seem to always have not so great experiences when dining out but this place was a very, very pleasant surprise. He found them randomly on Yelp so we took a chance. For two people during after church rush we waited about 30 minutes which is what they quoted us. Not a problem, we've waited longer at other places. We were sat, our server was really friendly. He orders the Hot Mess Bowl and I kept it simple with a 2 egg breakfast, sausage, Hashbrowns and toast. We split a waffle with whipped cream, strawberries and strawberry butter as well. Let me just say... we were so focused on how delicious everything was we did not get a single picture of what we ordered. Chefs kiss!! His Hot Mess bowl stopped him in his tracks. My eggs were cooked to perfection. The waffle?? Oh my goodness that strawberry butter!! Did I mention all of our food came out in 10 minutes?? We cannot wait to take everyone we know here. Parents, in-laws, you name it. Looking forward to eating here again!

In the mood for breakfast and PANCAKES? This is the place. It was packed when we walked in and we know why! The service was outstanding. Great breakfast choices. You must come for pancakes! Flavor, fluffy and hot. Served with warm syrup! We had to force ourselves to stop eating the pancakes. They were that good!

What an awesome and inspiring place! Came on NYE and Kendall the manager was busily checking people in. We had used the waitlist app, highly recommend! She was so kind and not rushed despite being busy. We got seated and were waited on by Jackson, also a very pleasant and sweet guy. He remembered my brother who had only been there once before! Recalled his order- now thats impressive. Food was excellent and plentiful and just a really nice vibe. Last stop was the restroom and Wow! what an inspiring place. Seriously the walls are covered in post it notes with biblical or inspiring sayings. I needed that today. Good job, Red Oak you and your staff definitely are a stand-out!
