The pancakes were off today. Something was missing. Today they were kinda bland. The toast didn't seem the same quality either- dry, not buttered this time. They also ran out of decaffeinated coffee. I have to comment that this is very unusual for Red Oak. We are usually very satisfied with the food quality.On the other hand, Luke did a great job!
5/5 stars. Blown away by the food, the service, the overall experience. My husband and I seem to always have not so great experiences when dining out but this place was a very, very pleasant surprise. He found them randomly on Yelp so we took a chance. Jaxon was very attentive and accommodating. The food was mostly delicious. I gave 4 stars because the grits were so watery that they were more soup than grits. The bacon was extra crispy, and a generous portion was served. Loved the bread used for toast. My friend enjoyed the banana pancakes. The colorful post it notes were interesting.
