“One of my favorite spots in Amarillo! The owner is wonderful and always comes by the tables to make sure your order is perfect. Their Pad Si Ew is delicious, but my go-to order is always the Lao Sausages and sticky rice, and the sweet sticky rice with mango slices and coconut ice cream are a perfect ending. If the menu says it's 🌶️, it may feel a bit more like 🌶️🌶️🌶️ . They can adjust the heat for you in the kitchen.”

“Last night we decided to go to the Hoffbrau Steak and Grill House for dinner. If you are ever in Amarillo, don't go here expecting German type food. But please try it anyway for some awesome American-Texan food. I had the Smoked Sirloin with corn on the cob and Tonya had the Shrimp and Grits. Both meals were great and the service was very good also. Tonya also a Pretty in Pink drink (which was a little too tart for my taste, but she really liked it) All in all, I would rate this place a 10 out of 10!”

“We arrived at The Big Texan Steak Ranch on a Thursday around 8:30 p.m. and waited about an hour for a table. It was busy, but grabbing a drink at the bar made the wait easy. The margarita served in the signature boot-shaped cup is fun.

We started with the Cowboy Steak Bites, and they were the highlight of the meal. Tender, and cooked perfectly—I would absolutely order them again.

For dinner, we both had the bone-in ribeye cooked to the same temperature. Mine was cooked perfectly while the other was unfortunately overcooked. The Caesar salad was also fresh and delicious.

The Big Texan is worth the stop for the fun atmosphere, great steaks, and especially those Cowboy Steak Bites. Just be prepared for a wait during busy dinner hours.”

Could have had more goat cheese, prosciutto and fresh herbs on it and spread out more instead of just the center. Everything was definitely pleasing!!!!!!!! Love, love, love the crust!!!!!!!”

We had an out-of-town guest who'd never eaten at the Plaza, so of course with our rave reviews we had to get takeout. The person who took our order was obviously in a hurry but did correctly repeat our order. We picked it up and on arriving home our guest did not get what was ordered. Disappointedly I called and "Tony" answered the phone. The result being Tony gave us a credit for what we should of had on our next order. We used it promptly a night later and all went well and was delicious. We want to tip our hat to Tony for handling this situation so well and maintaining our business while gaining a new customer. The Plaza is fortunate to have such a fine and credible employee!!”

My coffee was so good, I finished it not too long after driving off. 10/10 recommend the burrito is probably the best I’ve had in town and out of town. They have a great menu and have added a few new things. I will definitely be back!! Get up and go to 6th/Virginia and get you some good food and coffee!!”

Thought my fault for not just going in. Yesterday in Amarillo Got the edible salad Lettuce was not even chilled. It was room temp. Ruined the whole salad. Bought a large container of the spicy ranch and a big bad of chips. When I got home and sat down to enjoy the spicy ranch and chips the Spicy Ranch was like water! So disappointed, please don’t start going downhill. I love y’all’s food. Keep your quality. It’s definitely having a few issues”

There's a patio out back that's dog friendly, and a back room that can't be rented for only $50 for two hours.”

“After my uncle murdered my father, married my mother, and assumed my rightful throne, I wasn't sure my family would ever be able to come together over a meal again. But at Yanagi Hibachi, we were finally able to see eye to eye. This resolution of our bitter conflicts and healing of our deep wounds were facilitated by both the fantastic food and the wisdom of our hibachi chef, who won't be named here for his own safety. Even the servers played a role in our familial mending, as one of them helpfully pointed out that my uncle's dastardly advisor slipped some nightshade into my lychee martini and so averted his plot. They were also able to add two extra seats for my friends, habitually late messengers and actors. Thank you Yanagi Hibachi for your help, and for a wonderful meal!”
