Their Pad Si Ew is delicious, but my go-to order is always the Lao Sausages and sticky rice, and the sweet sticky rice with mango slices and coconut ice cream are a perfect ending. If the menu says it's 🌶️, it may feel a bit more like 🌶️🌶️🌶️ . They can adjust the heat for you in the kitchen.”

“Last night we decided to go to the Hoffbrau Steak and Grill House for dinner. If you are ever in Amarillo, don't go here expecting German type food. But please try it anyway for some awesome American-Texan food. I had the Smoked Sirloin with corn on the cob and Tonya had the Shrimp and Grits. Both meals were great and the service was very good also. Tonya also a Pretty in Pink drink (which was a little too tart for my taste, but she really liked it) All in all, I would rate this place a 10 out of 10!”

Last night we ordered almost exclusively the chef specials, along with a few old favorites, and we were so overjoyed by our meal and left so satisfied. John was our server, and he is so kind and funny and efficient. Made great suggestions and kept our meal coming out at a great pace. Thanks to the whole team, and big shout out to the chef and sous chef, we always love what they come up with for specials. Will keep coming here for date night.”

Even though the other waffle houses in Amarillo are owned by the same family this one is my favorite. The other ones are good as well but I’m a creature of habit.”

“We are always quick to complain but neglect giving credit when it is due. We love the Plaza and food, but nobody is perfect. We had an out-of-town guest who'd never eaten at the Plaza, so of course with our rave reviews we had to get takeout. The person who took our order was obviously in a hurry but did correctly repeat our order. We picked it up and on arriving home our guest did not get what was ordered. Disappointedly I called and "Tony" answered the phone. The result being Tony gave us a credit for what we should of had on our next order. We used it promptly a night later and all went well and was delicious. We want to tip our hat to Tony for handling this situation so well and maintaining our business while gaining a new customer. The Plaza is fortunate to have such a fine and credible employee!!”

My coffee was so good, I finished it not too long after driving off. 10/10 recommend the burrito is probably the best I’ve had in town and out of town. They have a great menu and have added a few new things. I will definitely be back!! Get up and go to 6th/Virginia and get you some good food and coffee!!”

I chose Asada Tacos (they were incredible; salsa and rice were incredible as well!) and Bill chose Chicken Fried Steak and House Made potato’s with a salad (his chicken fried steak was perfect; the potatoes were dreamy, and the salad was way beyond what most restaurants serve as salad…I believe it actually had fresh spinach in it!) We met the new owner and had a great visit! We will definitely be back soon, and I hope it’s for breakfast because the offerings look and sound delicious!”

“Disappointed in my favorite go to place when I am in Amarillo I did the drive through for the first time. Called in the order. Not good. Threw my burrito away. Thought my fault for not just going in. Yesterday in Amarillo Got the edible salad Lettuce was not even chilled. It was room temp. Ruined the whole salad. Bought a large container of the spicy ranch and a big bad of chips. When I got home and sat down to enjoy the spicy ranch and chips the Spicy Ranch was like water! So disappointed, please don’t start going downhill. I love y’all’s food. Keep your quality. It’s definitely having a few issues”

Periodically they have live music. Spicy Mike's sells beer and wine, and you can BYOB for spirits, and they have all the setups. There's a patio out back that's dog friendly, and a back room that can't be rented for only $50 for two hours.”

Also the combination fried rice is delicious. The food is amazing and the service is amazing. However, I always get take out don't like dining in, they need to update and update bathrooms. However that could be done, I wouldn't know.”

“I recently tried a chicken and waffles dish at Ove-See Restaurant, and it was a satisfying mix of comfort and indulgence. The fried chicken was the star crispy on the outside with a golden, well-seasoned crust, and tender and juicy inside. It was generously coated in a sweet, slightly tangy sauce that paired nicely with the savory flavor of the chicken.

The waffle underneath was soft and fluffy with just a hint of sweetness, making it a perfect base to soak up the sauce and balance the richness of the fried chicken. A scoop of butter on the side added an extra layer of richness when melted over the waffle.

The dish also came with a small side of fresh fruit strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, and a slice of orange which provided a refreshing contrast to the heavier main dish. It helped cleanse the palate between bites.
