A delightful find in Amarillo. It is so easy when traveling to stop off at a national brand corporate restaraunt because you know what you're getting and what it costs. However, sometimes buying local can be much better. Braum's is an Oklahoma-based dairy that runs combination ice cream parlors and burger joints, sort of like Dairy Queen. This is the best location in Amarillo because the service here is amazing. The staff is very friendly, especially the tall blonde haired girl with the pretty smile that served me around 7pm on 8.26.2023.

Stopped in on our way across the country- we ALWAYS stop at a Braums! Best ice cream. Very nice, clean restaurant, counter person very nice. Food and shakes were great. Btw, a large shake is HUGE…. Couldn’t finish it and also drive another 6 hours lol. Strawberry ice cream is loaded with chunks of strawberry- so good.
