“Believe it or not but I enjoy the consistency of my food. I've never been to a TPs where my burger or sandwich didn't taste like I expected. TP AMA didn't disappoint. My beyond burger (+bacon) ? was delicious. My other go-to is the meatball sub (sans meatballs...add pepperoni).”
“I try to eat at Saltgrass every time I'm in Amarillo. It is one of my favorite places to eat! The steaks are always prepared to perfection! Chxó̜ó̜h łikan!”
“one of my favorite restaurants. to the people who say it tasted bad or they got sick... they must not know how to cook right. very nice and clean atmosphere. food always tastes fresh and flavorful. it does get a bit smoky and you should expect to smell of it when you leave since you cook it right infront of you. grills are always promptly replaced. most bad experiences people have are from their own faults. overall AMAZING restaurant with really delicious food.”

“Nice Brewery. Above par offerings, a shame we won't work our way through the list. Ironically went for live music at a tied house, Bud, Corona, light lagers galore... but in the fridge were two cans from Pondaseta. Not sure the music sounded better, but we had a better time, having berr that suited our palates better.”
“Great service and awesome food. Went for post lunch (2PM on weekend) and, where many chains will have lower quality product and service, Hoffbrau did not miss a step. Fantastic!”
“Our hostess/waitress was super great and very kind. The atmosphere is always great and it is always very clean when we go there and the food. I’ve never had a bad mail here. It is always top-notch. This is our favorite stop when we get to venture to Amarillo.”

“I order the omlet...it's delicious, grits & bacon! The staff is great, friendly & keep our coffee cups filled. The atmosphere is peaceful & inviting! I highly recommend you try it once...you'll be amazed!”
“Excellent real Texas style barbecue. Locally owned. We ran into the owners old high school friend in line who gave us excellent recommendations, but it seemed like you couldn’t go wrong with anything. I had the pulled pork and my husband had the brisket. The jalapeño corn and coleslaw were perfection. Banana pudding and peach cobbler top tier. Would come again, but we are just passing through on a cross country trip. Per the locals, come early, because they stay open only til they sell out— usually happens before 6.”
“Fresh fish sushi and best sushi I have ever had! It was light and delicious! The staff went out and beyond to make us feel so comfortable! Will definitely be going back in the future!Kid-friendliness: The waitress had made kid friendly chopsticks for my son when he wanted to use chopsticks!”
“The food was amazing. I got the pick 3 platter, and it was delicious. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to our requests. They gave great food suggestions with a premium smile and signature service. Thank you for an awesome experience.”
“Absolutely incredible, we ordered ribs, sliced brisket, and pulled pork. We also orders the mac n cheese and cole slaw. I have had some incredible bbq in Texas and this is at the top with the rest of them. Support this local business if you are passing through.”
“1st time to visit & was pleasantly surprised that the place was one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to in Amarillo. I had the Manicotti & it was delicious, but the breadsticks didn’t have enough garlic for me. Heather, our server, was fantastic!”
“It's definitely a local sort of place and took me back in time to the mom and pop businesses. It's very small with a handful of tables. Mostly hamburgers and cheeseburgers are the specialty. It brought me back to the days before chain restaurants were popular. It has a small but ample parking lot and a handicap spot.”
“This burger is my new Roman Empire. I live 12 hours away and we stopped here for a burger during a road trip on a friends recommendation. It was so good, I think about it longingly far too often. Sure wish I didn’t live so far away! Best burger ever.”
“What a lovely place to get EXCELLENT tea! Interior is excellent, drive thru is super handy, and tea is delicious. I appreciate their questions on how much ice and sweetness! Try the oolong milk tea and you won’t be disappointed!!!”
“Came in from fort Worth tx and we smelled this place while driving. The portions are huge and everything is homemade. The best queso I've tasted in a while. Very friendly environment and the line moves quick. Will be back again”
“Beautiful restaurant with great brunch choices. My husband got the matador breakfast and our son got the French toast. I had scrambled eggs with bacon and cheese. We stayed in Amarillo for the night on our cross country trip.”
“The Plaza has been one of our family's favorite restaurants in Amarillo for over 30 years. We love their food. We especially love the jam that comes with the cheese sticks. We have many favorite items including the stuffed avocados and enchiladas. The papas are also very tasty. The restaurant is family friendly. Usually, there are many people trying to eat there during peak dining times. The service is always good. Our only complaint would be that they do not take reservations which is particularly maddening when we have a large group.Parking: Usually there is plenty of parking. Sometimes you have to walk a little if during a peak dining time.”
“SF&W. Staff, food and wine were perfect. We met a young gentleman who took care of us during the dinner. He told us his name but We don't know how to write it. He was extremely courteous and professional. The hostess and the somellie (we will continue)”

“I'm severely allergic to wheat & Celiac, so my review will focus on my GF experience today.Upon arrival, I requested a gluten free menu & was told by the hostess that they don't have one. Then the lady who seated us said that the server would be able to give me some recommendations. Our waitress said there were no options, so I asked for the manager (Keith). He was very nice & helpful. He told the waitress how to write it on the ticket & personally went to the back to be sure the cooks understood the need for safety.Basically the options are: salad w/o potato straws or a grilled protein (steak, chicken, or salmon) seasoned with only salt & pepper with broccoli & and side salad w/o the potato straws. My food was good & fresh. The house lemon-basil & balsamic vinaigrettes were both delicious!!! They alone were worth the trip, IMHO.Dietary restrictions: Read my review for gluten free info.”

“Very established place here in Amarillo. It has been in business for a very long time. The service is always up to par. No matter how new or fresh the employees are. The food is Bussin ! It gets pretty busy and crowded often. It's expensive honestly, but I don't blame them for charging that much when it's good.Kid-friendliness: Was a comfortable restaurant for our son.”
“Good food, nice place to stop while traveling. Would get 5 stars If we were allowed to call in an order to eat in instead of having to get it to-go. That's more beverage revenue! (Dining in takes longer than it does to charge, but order-ahead works well.)”
“Hotel bar, specializes in wine. Could not get into a local social club basement bar, so asked the Valet, who sent us here. Nice, quiet, clean and a bit dark.Barman is accomplished.Ordered food which was fairly prompt, and tasty. My Caesar was heavy on the dressing (many are). My wife loved her Tuna Tartar starter.”
“Absolutely one of the best Cream of mushroom sauce I have ever eaten in my life time and the steak was cooked to perfection. Service on point with an atmosphere of elegance.”
“My must stop steak joint. Every time I'm in the area or driving thru I make it a habit to stop. The atmosphere and the food is amazing they have great service.”
“4 great visits. Everything we ordered was great. Servers have been informative and attentive each visit. Our favorites are the Steak eggroll appetizer and the Monte Cristo. Servers have also allowed us to sample beer before ordering. Desserts have been good. We got an overdone butter cake, but were not charged for it in the end. Also stayed 4+ hours on most recent visit because the atmosphere was so good. Some expensive dishes, but also some very reasonable options. Highly recommend getting a reservation. Love this place!”
“Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. We were just passing through, on our way to Kentucky. Food was delicious and tender.Parking: We parked right outside the front door.”
“One of the best meals we've ever had. The filet mignon WAS the BEST EVER! Melt in your mouth delicious! Expensive but worth it! We will definitely be back when traveling west.”
“I think my bartender's name was Hagen or or something like that he was awesome great customer service and everything. The food was great and the drinks were amazing.”
“The restaurant is cleaned, but dated! The salsa is fresh and I recommend a side guacamole as well! I has the grilled fish tacos and my husband had the enchiladas with mole sauce! Both dishes were excellent and the pricing is extremely reasonable! Worth the trip!”
“I play for the Amarillo Venom and La Bella’s has taken care of us perfectly. The excitement when we see those pizza boxes coming is unreal. Great food and service.”
“I come every year on my birthday to get the Elk Steak. It each year it has a different side. This year was a butternut squash risotto. This year was my least favorite but still good. Typically, it’s the best steak in town.”

“The food was great that waitress was nice. And the place is big enough.Parking: There's plenty of parking and there's plenty of reserve parking and there's enough light out”
“Excellent customer service, enjoyed my experience, they were put of a few things. I was so happy to hear they had vegan options. It's like a veggie patty. I have had it 2 times now since taking the time to sit and write this review”
“We hit a lot of Waffle Houses while traveling and this was one of our favorite locations. The food was fantastic and the service was phenomenal. Dee was our server and she was the friendliest and best server we've ever had at a Waffle House, which made the meal that much better!”
“It was nice the food n prices were excellent. But a bit too crowded had to wait a sec. The great thing about it was single gentleman got done quickly just to give us his. I love Texas! Glad to know here in this state we still have people with good ? ?!!!”
“The food, service, and ambiance of this Waffle House here are amazing. As soon as we entered, the service was amazing and efficient. After my meal order was taken, I was sitting there 2-3 minutes, and then the food arrived. It was all very delicious and tasty. I ordered The Cheesesteak Bowl because I like those, and they're great. The kind people attending each and every customer are too kind ? and helpful. I wish to go here if I ever visit this part of Texas again, Amarillo. My travels through the panhandle are limited, but if I ever embark on another journey through here, I will visit this exact Waffle House. The view outside of the windows is great, and I liked viewing, broadcasting, spectating, and watching the exterior of this exact, precise Waffle House. I am very amazed by how cool it was to be here and I like this place. The quantity of times that I will explore this part of the great state of Texas is unknown, but we shall see, and I will try to come here if I ever go up to Northern Texas ever again. I don't find anything to do often up here, as it is only a passing through city for me. That may or may not change in the near or far future. The course of events in the future is often unknown and unpredictable. We shall wait and eventually find out whether or not this sort of event will ever happen in the future, again.Vegetarian options: You can order fruits, and that is very awesome and important to specific customers. Certain religions and allergies do not permit the consumption of certain foods.Dietary restrictions: You have the option of learning explanations/ingrediants of each and every singular, individual meal that one may order. Every ingredient is packed with an optional explanation if it is required.Parking: The parking is of free use, so there are no transactions that you must commit in order to park your motor vehicle or bicycle here. You may also walk if you are able to properly access this specific restaurant.Kid-friendliness: This luxurious restaurant permits children, adults, and elderly people to enter the premesis and dine here.”
“Don’t visit here often but when I do I’m usually satisfied. You’re gonna have a good sub sandwich every now and then the establishment is clean attentive customer service and the food is good.”
“Server was having a bad day it seemed, but we all have them. The food was good, hash browns needed cooked a little more. Maybe scattered a bit instead of cooked in a mound. I'll go back for sure!!”
“This is an old-school diner experience. One of the only restaurants in town where smoking is permitted. The booth seats are not padded. The waitresses are friendly, but probably not pretty, the coffee is good, and the chicken fried steak is the best in town. They don't like credit cards, so there's an extra charge when you use one.Vegetarian options: They have dinner salads and one fried vegetable platter that's very good, but really not much for vegetarians is available.Parking: It really depends on how busy the bar attached to the cafe is as to whether you can park close to the cafe entrance or not, but I've always found some place to park”
“The lady that works the 11 to 7 shift is wonderful. She is a beautiful black lady and just as sweet and kind as she can be to her customers. She always makes sure you food is fresh and the bread is never hard. Her customer service skills are A+ which is not often found in the fast food world any longer. We try to always go get our food when she is at work and often eat a late supper just to have her fix our food because it is always good when she is working!Vegetarian options: Good for vegetarian eatersKid-friendliness: Offers kid mealsParking: Most always have good spots and have handicap parkingWheelchair accessibility: Not sureDietary restrictions: Don't know.”
“The burgers were alright. The fries were good. The shakes were too thick. The fancy ketchup is good and not full of nasty high fructose corn syrup. The service was great. The staff were helpful and funny. The booths need to be wiped down a little more.”
“Who doesn't love Whataburger??Good food, fast and reasonably priced. Can't ask for more than thatParking: The parking lot is a little small. Not a lot of spaces to choose from”
“It was pretty good. I just feel bad because there was a couple who was hungry and I did t have enough money to buy them anything... There should be some sort of emergency fast food help for pregnant woman or something. There's no need for anyone to go ”
“I just meet up a friend of mine & ate at this location. Our waiter was very good at listening & taking our order. She even checked on us a few times. But after tickets were handed to us . She stopped checking in on us. She never once offered to refill my friends sweet tea.The food was good but I can tell something was off about food just can’t put a finger on it. I feel like quality of food could be better.I feel like my was already too salted . Crepe was good”
“I placed a mobile order online but I got stuck at work and wasn’t able to show up until an hour later. They remade my food for me (without me even asking). Excellent service.”
“Great burger restaurant, open 24 hours with a delicious breakfast menu. It is more expensive than your normal burger place and it's not exactly fast food, it takes at least 20-30 mins after you order to get through the drive through, especially during night hours. Other than that it's a good burger place. It's a would be. A good place to take your girl on a date!”
“Amazing Crispy Chicken, Delicious Salty Fries, (By the way Americans love their salt) Buttery Sesame Seeded Bread, and Outstanding Sauce. Drink was cool and nice too. Edit: honestly I like mixing it all together toast as the bread chicken and fries in the middle and sauce on top so all!”
“Wow the food was awesome and our server Jessica was the bomb it was our first time and we will b back again we got sitter immediately Jessica came right away and took our order and drinks order got served fast and enjoyed it its one of our favorite place to ”

Takeout Restaurants
“I have been coming here for about 12 yrs. Food is absolutely delicious. Very rare that anything is not perfect. Very friendly and sweet waitstaff. If you leave here not full and or not smiling, it's on you.”
“Food/Taste/ - ordered a Cat Fish Dinner with brisket gumbo and cowboy mac & cheese with a full slab of ribs. The cat fish was recommended and fried superbly with a crispy outside and a moist inside. The lemon based rub added a tartness that went well with the tartar sauce. The mac & cheese was good but quite salty depending on the bite so it wasn't our favorite. The gumbo was very tomato based and quite yummy overall. The ribs were fall off the bone tender that you don't need a knife at all! Absolutely delicious with a touch of smokiness that goes so well with the BBQ sauce. - super friendly owners but it does depend on who you get. The gentleman was chatting with the other table and interacting with their children providing samples of drinks and sides for them to try. The lady was to the point and really quick on the service but think she was juggling the cooking as well. - scary looking place from the outside but cozy once you walk in. It was a tiny place with only 6 tables. And while it's worn, the tables are cleaned and wiped down (but the windowsills are quite dusty with dead flies). It can get quite smokey in the restaurant depending on what's being cookedValue for - delicious food at a reasonable price point. So happy we gave this place a try!”
“Our burgers were hot, juicy and delicious. The cashier was sweet and friendly and rung the bell. We took our food to go. We'll be back. No time for photos. ?”
“I ordered the 2 meat plate with Ribs, Brisket, BBQ beans and the smoked Mac and Cheese and it was all really good. Loved the food, service and of course how patriotic the place is. Will definitely be coming back.”
“We're from Austin where breakfast burritos and tacos are everywhere, but this man and his family know what they are doing! Absolutely great food and super sweet people, I highly recommend!”
“Marianne was a wonderful server. She was helpful during ordering, prompt with drinks and food. Friendly during our meal. She refilled our drinks when needed. Of course the food was delicious!”
“I don't usually make the healthy choice when dining out, but I'm trying to do better, so we went to FAVs for lunch today. I expected to have something bland and console myself with the fact that it was at least inexpensive.Let me just say I was blown away. Every single bite was packed with a medley of flavor from what are obviously high quality ingredients. You can see it as they make your order and you can definitely taste it. I'm so glad I didn't waste 15 bucks at some burger place. The service was excellent, attentive, and friendly. The food was beyond great. The crushed avocado was a palace into itself. Best meal I've had in a long time, and it was less expensive than a fast food combo.”
“Solid espresso / coffee, good service from the staff. They charge $1 for alternative milk. The difference in cost per ounce (retail) is less than $.05 per ounce.”
“Awesome spot in a cute little town of Amarillo, TX. We were passing through and found this gem. It's counter service and delicious brunch / lunch foods. I got the GF biscuits and gravy & it was phenomenal. Soooo delicious and an amazing gluten free option to have! The coffee was quality, and my friends loved the pastries, quiche, and regular biscuits and gravy, too!! With delicious food, an earthy, laid-back vibe, it was the perfect stop for breakfast price was right too! What's not to love?!”
“I ordered the Thai tea, and basil fried rice were on point. It will be my place of choice when driving thru Amarillo. As a truck driver, I’ve had Thai food in several states. Not as good as this!If you don’t know what to order, Saxon can help you with your choice.”
“Joe's Pizza is my mom's favorite place to eat. Unfortunately, my mother passed away unexpectedly a few months ago. So I felt that I needed to go and visit this place and see what my mother loved so much. And I can see that she loved everything. The food was amazing, the service was superb. I went and ate with my stepdad. The building is wheelchair friendly which is obviously important because both my mom and stepdad are in wheelchairs. The only thing missing from such a great lunch was my mother.”
“This place is a ways out of the way for most locals, it it is well worth the trip. Very good food & coffee. The entree that I ordered was spicy. I was sweating when I walked out.”
“No sweet tea, but other than that, it's great! On historic Rt 66 in Amarillo. It's very homey, small compared to some cafés, but the atmosphere is great. I ride a Harley, its motorcycle friendly, in the summer they are always quick to get you something cold to drink and chill for a bit. Great place for my wife and our friends to gather and eat.”
“A breath of fresh air. Roastery with great espresso/coffee, nice atmosphere, and friendly service. We tried 2 of their coffee shops and were impressed both times. Reminds me of Merit Coffee in San Antonio.”
“Absolutely love this coffee shop! Delicious, amazing customer service, cute atmosphere. Highly recommendParking: Not a lot of parking available. Can be difficult to get in and out of the lot due to location and traffic/time of day”
“My must stop steak joint. Every time I'm in the area or driving thru I make it a habit to stop. The atmosphere and the food is amazing they have great service.”

“However you can imagine a baked potato, The Potato Factory likely has you set. We go occasionally for the hearty heaps of potato they offer and the customizable options. I usually get mine with turkey, olives, chives, and cheese. Service has been friendly and fast every time I've been. They have a dine in area but I have only done drive thru. A great local eatery.”
“I just got home with my burrito from Good Day; I ordered a $9 asada burrito that ended up being just lettuce, and asada in a tortilla. I had asked what all came on it and they said asada, lettuce, onions and tomatoes, im not a fan of onions or tomatoes so I had asked if they would put beans and rice in it so it felt more filling for me but when I took a bite there were no beans and rice:( I didn't pay extra for them but I wouldn't have ordered at all if I wasn't able to get beans and rice on it (that's what makes it a burrito to me) I will say the asada did taste amazing! just wasn't want i tried to ask for. My boyfriend did say his guisada and bacon breakfast burrito was good!! We love this stop! I just wish I had gotten what I asked for:/”
“As a traveling healthcare processional I am always excited to find good restaurants wherever I go to a new city or state. This is one of my favorite restaurants. I take out at least 1x/week. The food is creative, flavorful, and at a great price. The spicy veggie burger is one of the best I have eaten. Thanks for making vegetarian food outstanding.”
“I love Daniel's drive Inn. I have been going there since I was little and my grandparents and my mother loved the burgers and onion rings so much. My papaw was very picky but Daniel's is the only way he would have a burger ?. He is a Christian man and cares about the community. He is a blessing and a blessing to others. ”

“I've been ordering there since they opened in 08. Can't beat the pizza and service......stuff crust is the way to go! Warning! 2 pieces will fill the average guy. Great pizza!”
“I have been going to Roasters over any other coffee chain for as long as I could drive (over a decade). I love the service, the quality of food and drinks, and the over all atmosphere. I used to do homework in high school there, study dates in college, and now I work on real estate in there too. And the coffee taste is absolutely perfect. 10/10 stars if I could!”
“fyi the gumbo is not seafood but imitation crab meat sausage shrimp and shredded chicken. Taste good but it was Friday during lent and I cld not eat it. Waitress said it was seafood gumbo. I am from New Orleans and it was not. Next day it was good though after picking out the imitation grab. Large portions of Catfish and shrimp. The 2 Catfish and 6 shrimp was plenty to eat! I wld go back.Kid-friendliness: Kids meals.”
“Nothing can go wrong with a stop at firehouse subs. Building is always comfortable and clean, the staff are courteous and quick, and they seem to have a relaxed work environment, which shows through with their attitudes and service. Food is always above the quality to expect from a "fast food" place, and I personally have never had any issues with anything related with the store. If you're going to get a sub, go here. (My favorite is the Jamaican Jerk Chicken)”
“Just like your normal sonic but the drinks are better! Spent $40 to feed four so pricing was good since we had leftovers. The burgers was big and really fresh, the chick strip meal was thick chicken and it was all so yummy! But the drinks tasted super fresh and the different flavors of teas is a must try. The fries and tots was fresh and crunchy and not too salty!”
“Heard great things about here so when was passing through got to try it and it lived up to all the hype. Some of the best chicken pad thai I've ever had. The customer service was great as well.”
“Clean & quick yummy food! The workers were happy and helpful and my food was out quick and 100% accurate! I love the old school building too, this location has been around for a LONG time -kind of a landmark of sorts!Kid-friendliness: Kids love simple stuff like hot dogs -best part is they use chicken weiners by default!Wheelchair accessibility: Fabulous front entrance parking and accessibility for wheelchair needs!”

“Never would I think I would make a trip to the mall just to sit a few minutes in the food court waiting on food to go. Such is my life now after the taste explosion from Alfredo's. Beyond delicious. Definitely recommend parking and walking into the food court and back out again. Make sure to get the 4 breadsticks with Alfredo dipping sauce. #”
“Went there for the first time last night we wanted something out the normal choices we eat. I saw it and pitched it to my husband. He agreed everything we looked at looked good. We placed an order I went to pick it up and the food looked amazing. The smell was amazing. Even tasting it was amazing we both agreed it was some of the best we had ever had and it would be our new pizza spot. Highly recommend everything tastes so fresh.”

“The staff were wonderful and Ruby the owner was the sweetest and so much fun to talk to! The TV entertainment was positively arousing as well so avert your eyes if you're prudish and don't want to see whipped cream applied to a mouthwatering sausage while you're eating Ruby's mouthwatering sausage. These folks aint shy in the least bit so come in prepared to leave satisfied by their unique take on sexy brunch.”
“Great breakfast burrito! May not have been the top rated breakfast spot when we did our search, but will definitely check this spot out next time we are in Amarillo!”
“I'm passing through Amarillo. I've tried many Thai/Lao restaurants across the states and hands down this is the BEST. The service was on point, they're accommodating and friendly. The food is so good it makes my soul smile. I'm so happy I found this place. This place hit home for me. I had the Thum Tad, the Laos sausage with sticky rice and the duck noodles. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I only wish i packed an extra stomach.”

“We enjoyed a delicious dinner! It was a rainy Friday evening, so we didn't get to see the airplanes take off. However, my chicken fried steak was perfect with mashed potatoes and gravy and a side salad. My key lime was wonderful! I could taste the real key lime juice! Kudos to their baker!:)Everyone in our party of six enjoyed their meals. The service was very pleasant and professional even though the restaurant was full!We will definitely come back again!:)”
“We had a good lunch here. Tasty enchiladas and burritos. There was hardly any sauce on the chile rellenos though. Potatoes were very good. Service was ok, not super attentive but friendly.”
“Better bring your appetite when you enter here! Found it by accident, or maybe it was fate. The aroma of brisket cooking outside set the stage for enjoying the Brisket En Sala Verde I ordered. The sauces for the brisket (and the chips) was a perfect balance between spicy warmth and the salsa verde. My wife had the brisket burrito and was equally pleased. Great local flavors served by a very accommodating staff. Nothing but good things to say about this place. (Sorry about the platter shot that was taken after a couple of bites-I really wanted to eat!)”
“This is the best pizza place we have ever had! We come from Lubbock just to have this pizza! So delicious!!! Crust, sauce, fresh toppings, absolutely the best!!!”
“The food was good, the servers seemed very busy doing things other than serving customers. We got our apps without the dips which she said she would be right back with and disappeared never to return (not our actual server) but when our server finally came by so I could ask about them they were cold by the ti.e we got them. She went to refill my wifes drink and by the time she brought it another server had already asked and brought one. Not what we've come to expect from Red Robin.”
“The exploded roll was awesome. Had a little bit of a bite to it but was not ? hot. The waiter, Tom, was very attentive. Very clean feeling place. I will definitely come again. Plenty of parking. No alcohol ”
“This store is by far the best place to visit so far. Everyone knows I will tell it like it is and will not sugar coat for anyone. But this store has went above and beyond. Thank you”
“I just had the Hariyali and it was FANTASTIC! I've never had food like this before but, but was it good! It was so flavorful and had just the right amount of heat. I need to go try more of his food.”
“Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. We were just passing through, on our way to Kentucky. Food was delicious and tender.Parking: We parked right outside the front door.”
“I had the salmon from the fall dinner menu, that was the best salmon I've ever had. I eat here often the food and the drinks are always on par! Ialmost always get an order of deviled eggs, they never disappoint. 100 percent recommend.”
“One of the best meals we've ever had. The filet mignon WAS the BEST EVER! Melt in your mouth delicious! Expensive but worth it! We will definitely be back when traveling west.”

Great pizza, definitely know how to make a Neapolitan pie. Highly recommended. Looking forward to someday trying the new place. “Usually stop there a few times a wk on my way to work. My go to is a bacon/egg/potato and it's so delicious. Tortillas are excellent and so is the salsa- fresh ingredients and seasoned well. Huge burrito that will keep you full til dinnertime. Friendly staff and prompt service. Definitely recommend.”
“Best tacos ever! Hubby and I were road tripping to Vegas from Dallas. Stopped here for lunch on our way. We arranged our trip back home the next week so we could stop here for tacos again. Don't miss it.”

Thai Yoshi
“This corner restaurant has been several different Thai restaurants for as long as I remember. The new owners committed a lot of time and money making an eye sore into a pretty nice little place. The service is excellent. The owners are there serving up sushi and heavenly meals from the kitchen. The recent addition of a full sushi bar makes for enjoyable dining experience. J have sat at sushi bar many times and the sashimi and rolls are delicious- never had a problem with fish quality. I have also sat In dining area several times. The customers clearly approve of this place because it's more and more crowded every week. Recommendations: Chicken Larb, spring rolls, garlic chicken, jalapeño chicken, Lad Na, Pad Ci U, Spicy beef, Penang curry.”
“Clean place, The food was delicious, perfect seasonings, texture, Not over cooked. I had La cazuela, ? the drinks were ice cold, simply perfect.Julia was very attentive, helpful and great attitude.A definite must return.Parking: A bit muddyKid-friendliness: Family ambiance.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs”

“We enjoyed coming here on special occasions.I have a lot of fun with our server and the chef.Kid-friendliness: I love watching the kids face light up as the chefs entertain them.”
“My girlfriend and I came here on our way to colorado and it was way better than we imagined! We both grew up with southern style cooking and this exceeded our expectations! We even got the honor of meeting Kathy, who spoke briefly about the art work in her restaurant. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you Kathy!”

DJ's Burgers
“Delicious. The breakfast burritos and the burgers are always fresh and hot. I stopped in there one day because it was easy to park my truck, and I've been back many times.”
“The service was incredible. They were very welcoming and made sure we had enough napkins and drinks throughout our meal. Very friendly. We went for the wings and had to try Buffalo lemon pepper catfish- glad we did! The catfish just melts in your mouth but the cornmeal crust gave it a good crunch. The Buffalo lemon pepper made it even better, definitely recommend it. Amazing cold slaw- it was bright and crunchy. The fries are my favorite kind- batter dipped I think it's called? The wings were bigger than I was expecting, which I'll never complain about. Again, perfect texture with the outside having just enough crunch and the meat so juicy. We for the wang sauce and Buffalo honey- both sauces were sooo flavorful. I'm normally a ranch fiend but I barely used any on these wings. They also gave us a couple banana puddings on the house, which was so kind. It was perfect to my liking- not too sweet and the banana flavor wasn't too strong either. We went in the afternoon so we were the only ones dining in but they had several call-in orders and still were very attentive to us. It was clean and they did have a tv if you like to watch while you eat. The have an outdoor patio too if you want to enjoy the weather with your meal. I like the bright blue and mural painted outside- very cute establishment. We will definitely be going back.”
“I'm surprised to see all of the negative reviews here. I stayed at this hotel 2 nights and this is the restaurant in the hotel. The food is a bit pricey, but that's because it's really good! I usually like to leave the hotel when traveling for work but I was tired the first night and just came down from my room to eat. I was impressed with the service and atmosphere, and then the pot roast I ordered was soooo good! The cocktails were also made well. I ended up eating there again the second night because the first night was a good experience and it was easier than going out. The chicken dish I got the second night was really good too. I definitely recommend it. The chef even came out to check on everyone. I think his name was "Chef B" or maybe Chef D.. something like that. Very personable guy who seemed to really care about the quality of the food.”
“I ordered a graduation cake for my daughters grad party. I was able to share photos of the cake I wanted. Delia not only made the perfect cake design, but the cake tasted incredible!!!! I will use them for every special occasion!”
“The guys working here were a godsend. We got a flat right on the access road before here, and got in a parking spot just in time. I went in asking for a socket/wrench set to get our jack out and the guys in there got me to a couple sets to choose from AND gave me a recommendation and directions to go to Southern Tire Mart down the road. Can't thank them enough. Good, good guys. If you're lucky to get a flat near there, you'll be alright.”

“I always leave as a happy customer with my belly full and a smile on my face. The original is my favorite sandwich but I haven't tried any of the rest of them! Why mess with PERFECTION!!”
“I just grabbed a quick pulled pork sandwich passing through, on my way back to Colorado. Now, I'm not a BBQ connoisseur, but for a spot that was attached to a gas station, this was a welcome treat and tasted great. I wish I would have gotten more food, while I was there. But now I know I have a reliable lunch stop on my way back through.”

Subway
“Food was on par for Subway. The kids working the night of 8/7/2022 were helpful and friendly. A previous customer had left the women's restroom a mess, and the employees quickly cleaned it up. They were quick to complete our orders and didn't flinch when we asked if the salad we ordered could be chopped. While we were eating a mother and 12 year old son came in, the son got upset and stormed out knocking the door off its hinges. I was able to fix it for them and the kids were so grateful. They try hard there.”
“You better come hungry when you go to La Hacienda. Big portions with plenty to take home but I guarantee you that you will want to lick your plate clean. Have eaten there multiple times and have had outstanding service everytime. The fresh avocado dip prepared at your table is to die for.”
“They don't to let me enter immediately, the host told me wait 40min until she saw my wonderful family and then we immediately enter, don't like the server forgot my father's plate(in the ticket she wanted to us pay for it) when we all give from our sushi to him and don't like she put a sign in just our table of caution for an hour, the table feels like cheap and the plate are not cheap, the server that obviously locked latin don't give a chance to my mom to talk in Spanish that's why my sister has to translate all over and over again. But at least the food and drinks was good.”
“I love the food and entertainment the chefs do before they start cooking our food it's greatKid-friendliness: They are very kid friendly the chefs interact with the kidsWheelchair accessibility: There is plenty of room for wheel chairs to roll where ever they need to”
“Best pretzels I've had in a long time! Fast service and clean setting, friendly greeting from staff and the manager with the blue hair was very effective. I will be back!”
“Met a friend I had not seen in a very long time. The food was great. The service attentive hut not over bearing. Very good place to eat.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to use.”
“My family and I had such a great time. Mika (I apologize if I spelt your name wrong) is the sweetest person. Both of my girls loved her. She is super sweet and had such a welcoming and pleasant personality. My little one loved the show while cooking. The food was amazing. Overall we all enjoyed our dinner and the night out!”
“What is not to like, DELICIOUS beef, the green chili cream corn is incredibly tasty. The alcohol drinks aren't anything special but WHO CARES, everything else is perfect. I do prefer the coconut cake over the chocolate but that's me, not a fan of Hershey syrup, if you ask them they will give you grated horseradish which I like better than the horseradish cream sauce. The bread is very special. So soft so warm so Nom worthy. Been here twice and loved both times, will always stop and eat here when passing through. AND THE MOTEL IS FANTASTIC, CLEAN AFFORDABLE AND VERY PET FRIENDLY. In an age where MOST places don't welcome pets this place does for a small agreeable amount. THANK YOU ALL, especially Hanna who helped us check in today.”
“Food is always amazing and I love their tea. It’s always clean and food comes out at a reasonable time. A little pricey but worth it. My only complaint is that I had to stand at the front for about 5 minutes before an employee came out so I cld get a to go box. But I understand that restaurants get busy with carry out orders and things of that nature. They were very polite once they realized I was there.”
“Perfect location for guests of the Hampton Inn. Long drive. We were starving.....the women serving was really friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere. Great Pizza! We saw a Pizza Hut deal online and they were happy to honor it. Thanks”
“We were on the road to somewhere else, passing through town, and we stopped here cause it was close to the hotel and looked, OK - but WOW, the food was REALLY, REALLY good - good for a regular restaurant type place, but unbelievably exceptional for a fast food kinda place. Most times at any "fast food" place my take on the food is, "it's OK, I guess". I was very, very pleasantly surprised with Chop Chop - LOL, I even had to convince the gal at the counter to re-do the check out so it'd let me leave a tip.”
“Pretty good food and service. Was odd being the only ones seated in the restaurant, despite that, service was fairly prompt and drinks were delicious. The music playing was pretty hip and nice. Would eat at again if staying at the hotel once more. definitely a plus being able to take drinks up to the room!”
“Great for the little ones, the best is an "all inclusive" card for as long as you prefer... and with that card they play like crazy... once finished... you recharge again and repeat the best games, in the end you cash in the that they prefer for the points generated, enchanted creatures.”
“The food was awesome, and the service was spectacular, but the inside wasn't very clean. This was the only drawback, and otherwise, I would very much recommend this place.”

Usually, there are many people trying to eat there during peak dining times. The service is always good.
“Excellent prices. Great local spot, strong hole in the wall vibes. All four of us at with a nacho appetizer for less than $20. This restaurant reminds of the way things used to be! It’s still about 15 minutes from i40 though. So if you have extra time, it’s worth the trip. Very homelike atmosphere. Everything feels like you’re being served as a guest in someone’s home. The food was great!”

“Well that was fantastic. Austin was a great help, very kind. Food was out of this world. One suggestion: stock some tequila reposado. Experts may say that there's no difference in margaritas, but when you have four different kinds of whiskey, you can make room for a fourth kind of premium tequila. ?”
“Party of 4 adults on a Sunday morning. We ordered 2 waffles with pecans and bacon; 1 veggie wrap; and 1 breakfast plate - egg, bacon, waffle. Pros: As reported by other yelpers, this place has a clean and lively atmosphere; and excellent staff. Cocktails are served! Ok: Food and drinks are good. Portions are average to large. And, I found the price reasonable (about $12 per person). Others felt it was expensive for waffles. Why they lost the star: The menu is confusing to the newcomer. For example, you should always ASSUME it's a waffle. "Wraps" are not in tortillas, they are in waffles, "Sammy/sandwiches" are not served on slices of bread, they are served between 2 waffles. This is very fun and on the theme, but explained NOWHERE. "Sweets" are not pastries, they are toppings for the assumed waffles (how many waffles?). A "Waffle Brown" is a hashbrown shaped like a waffle. Options to consider: Order waffle and bacon crispy. Order honey or spicy honey instead of syrup.”

“Crab legs are my favorite food. I have eaten them at many places across many states. This place is by far my favorite. I have had much more expensive crab that wasn't this good. My grandparents lived in Louisiana and I have had some cajun food from true cajun places, and they don't compare. The waitress, it seems like she is always there, is kind and gives top notch service. I wish this place stayed busier for business sakes for them. We have never waited for a table. And, my child loves eating here.Kid-friendliness: This is my 8 year old child's favorite place to eat. They are very kind to my children amd accommodate without request. The waitress even showed my little one the "secrets" to getting all the meat out of the crab.”
“Ordered the Asada Taco plate, guacamole, queso, and the Taco, Enchilada, and Chile relleno plate. Service was amazing. They worked together to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was good, it's a decent place to eat if you're in that area of town.”

“The order came out quick, the service was great with amazing service. Not sure if I'm saying the name correctly but it was Joanne or Johanna, she was the manager and working the drive thru. She was very nice, kept us informed on our order and provided our meal in a timely manner. Her service is a big reason we'll go back again!”
