This off-the-main-road diner has lots to offer. The food is great (best-fried catfish and fried shrimp) locally. the menu also has great selections including some Asian choices like Pad Thai, a favorite of mine. Quaint Country Restaurant with a ViewNestled in Angleton, TX countryside, there is a quaint little restaurant that offers a unique dining experience. As you approach, you can see small airplanes taking off and landing on a nearby airstrip. Runway Cafe has the best hamburgers around. I went with my work buddies at noon and we had a great tasting meal. The service was good and the atmosphere was great as we got to see airplanes land & take off as we waited for our meal. I seemed like a very quick turnaround from the order placed til it was on the table. We will go back. Try the burgers !
