“Food was good(it's chilis), service was a bit lacking and we sat at bar. We normally do that for better service but they seemed a little lacking in the service at least in the bar area. The atmosphere is a bit to industrial but eh. The cheese sticks were huge and good!“
“I was on the road for Taco Tuesday, and I found a place to dive into some Mexican food. Since I've passed by a number of Fuzzy's locations, I decided to give this Anna outpost a try. So I stopped in and had to get acquainted with their menu. They've got a wide array of tacos, quesadillas, and burritos, but tonight, I decided on a burrito. This one was a ground beef burrito. The service team behind the counter told me that one burrito is very big. With a buzzer in hand, I ordered a ground beef burrito (and on it, there contained black beans, cilantro rice, peppers, guacamole, and cheese) alongside a Dr Pepper. Turns out, before my buzzer would even go off, one of the guys brought me my burrito to my table. Once I tasted it, there was a fine meshing of flavors inside. There was ground beef present in the burrito, but the overall taste didn't entirely jump out at me, either. All in all, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't that much to write home about, as well. It also was a bit pricey for a burrito, costing practically ten dollars even before you add tax and the drink. I'm not ruling out trying some of the other things on the menu eventually (and as it is, D/FW has so much competition). Just know that most items on Fuzzy's menu are a bit overpriced for the amount of food you get.“
“Gloria's is pretty darn good to begin with. Some of the best fajitas in the area. Good salsa. Really good queso. Great beans. And I'm told their seafood is pretty darn good too. What really sets this Gloria's apart is their patio. One of the nicest patio setups I've seen in the metroplex. It's huge. It's got retractable walls. It's got heaters. It's got water misters. They really thought of everything.“
“UPDATE** After 300+ visits still my go to!!How can give Blue Goose 6 stars! After 250+ visits, they've been consistent in everyway. I've only seen 1 or 2 off days in 9 years! I can't say that about any other place. Thank You Blue Goose!!“
“We had dinner there 5:30 pm on 3/23/2024 and it was excellent! The food was really good, served hot and tasty. The waiter was very friendly and courteous and he was extremely accomodating to another couple with us that were vegetarians. He had the kitchen make up some spinach and mushroom enchiladas. Very clean restrooms and the atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant. We will certainly visit again when we are in Van Alstyne!“
“Great outside patio for nice days. We had an excellent and friendly server for lunch on a Saturday. The salsa which accompanies the free chips was delicious and not spicy. The kids menu was all right, although my son only ate the fries standard fare Tex mex as far as entrees go, but the service was what stood out. Don’t sleep on the chocolates and sweets at the front!“
“My family and I were hungry after working in the yard all day. We found this place via Google. OMG!! talk about pleasantly surprised. The food was amazing!! If you're hungry, I highly recommend the molcajete, a lot of food, full of flavor!! Come visit Rivera's!! We will definitely be back!!“
“Van Alstyne is filled with Pizza and Tex Mex on every corner. The only problem with that is they are all fantastic and it can be months before places like El Patio have their turn in the rotation. If you live in VA or looking for a quick stop off 75 this place is well worth the stop.“
“Visiting family in the area and they took us here for lunch. It was excellent. They brought us out some samples of new items they were working on and they were great. This hot salsa/pico thing was amazing. Everything we ordered was top notch. I gave in and got some tres leches...some of the best I've ever had. Actually, it was the best I've ever had. Definitely check them out if you're in the area. They are definitely on our list for repeat business when we go back for visits.“
“Great food for a very good price. I ordered the Pechuga Primavera and my wife ordered the Salmon a la Parrilla. Both dishes were very tasty and full of flavor. The meal starts with chips and salsa. Good chips and a medium spicy salsa. We skipped the appetizers since there were just 2 of us. I also did not order drinks because I noticed soda comes by the can and didn't want to pay for each can on my refills. We stuck with water. Tea or lemonade wouldn't be a bad option. The Mexican rice was flavorful and complimented the meals well. My chicken and veggies meal comes with tortillas, so in essence you are eating chicken and veggie fajitas (sort of).Our waitress was very friendly and helpful.I would come back here if some friends invited us to join them. It was very good, but not great. It is certainly worth a trip for a good meal. With such a huge variety of Mexican restaurants in Collin County, there are several other places that make the list ahead of Anamia's. Good food for sure, and I hope to be back another time for a different entree, but still not ahead of places like Christina's, Blue Goose, or Gloria's.“
“My family and I ate here after lunch. It's not our usual place because it's a little bit of a drive for some of us; but the food is amazing (and consistently great); and staff is friendly. They were busy, as usual, and our server was running; but gave our table the time and attention we needed without making us feel rushed. I wish I could remember her name. She was fabulous. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! :)“
“The people here are amazing for one thing. My wife and I have come here since the place opened and every time we come it’s like it was the first. Very romantic place to bring your lady! Food is great and the atmosphere will catch you. This is Anna’s best Restaurant!“
