“We have always loved this place since they were in Lewisville. Once they closed due to I 35 expansion, we drive from Denton to the Colony. Up until the last 2 times food was great. The last 2 times, all of our meats (beef fajita & the chicken in the Pachuga dish) were super salty so much that they were difficult to eat. Not sure if it’s the marinade or the seasoning while cooking but I won’t be back to eat that.“

“My favorite Birria tacos in DFW so far. We had lunch at Mi Luna while driving to Prosper for an errand. I was pleasantly surprised that they’ve added Birria tacos to their menu recently. The plate comes with 3 tacos (I ate one before I took the pic). The meat is tender, very well shredded, nicely seasoned, no fat or gristle, and most important to me, NOT SPICY. Many other Birria tacos I’ve had in DFW have been too spicy. I also liked that the tortillas were not dripping oil, and there was a good cheese to meat ratio. The meat is the star of the show here rather than the cheese. Most other birria tacos I’ve had in DFW have too much cheese. The service was also great! They kept our drinks refilled without us having to ask. The restaurant is clean and the restroom tidy. Overall, we recommend Mi Luna!“

“This Tommy Tamale was my first experience, and I enjoyed my visit. I ordered a 2 plate x 1 (rice & beans, beef, chicken), a apple cinnamon tamale, a Bavarian cream churro, and a a fountain drink. The entrée and sides were available almost instantly after placing my order. I liked the beef tamale more than the chicken tamale, yet both were good. The refried beans and rice were fine. The sweet tea was excellent and clearly made fresh.When I placed my order, the cashier asked me if I wanted my dessert order held until I was almost finished with the other food, and I agreed. The cashier brought my desserts with excellent timing after I had eaten for a while. The apple cinnamon tamale was good, and the churro was delicious. My husband and I asked for water with lime & no ice.. we get our waters got no lime, which is fine we had to ask again.Our food comes out and everything smells and looks good. The pico and guac was fresh, the rice was hot and tasty & the chicken was tasty & marinated.. my only complaint was the poblano sauce was chunky, it had clumps of stringy cheese (which I’ve never seen before on this meal).Carla comes by after I was done eating half of my meal and after my partner finished their meal. I asked for the check and to go boxes. So she stepped away to tend to other customers and as she’s handling the big platter of different dishes a plate falls to the floor. Glass flew up and struck the side of my face.Carla did ask if I was fine but it showed I was very frustrated. “I'm a widowed single mom who is paranoid about calling contractors for help with my homes because of REALLY bad past experiences and being taken advantage of. This company was on the job within less than 30 minutes total and very FAIRLY priced as compared to the other companies I called yesterday. Keep in mind that I had already called four other plumbers, one of which never even called me back. As you can see from the picture, I called on Plano Plumbing & Leak Detection at 9:07am, and they were in, out, and DONE by 9:35am. Somewhat comically, one of the two chicken jalapeño poppers was completely devoid of filling (it was the right size and shape so clearly the filling must have seeped out during deep-frying). I notified our server and she swiftly replaced it with not one but TWO extra poppers (one chicken, one cheese). Came back because my wife suggested it for dinner and she hit the nail on the head with Anamias. The restaurant is super nice and great atmosphere. I always get the same thing when I go for Mexican food… a burrito or chimichanga and this place has a great chimichanga. Table side guac is fantastic and the Jays tacos were great.
