“My first time visiting Lola's and overall I was satisfied with the pepper soup. It's very hard to find a restaurant that gives your money's worth of meat etc. I ga e only 3 stars for service because I was trying to explain to the nice lady who took my order that there is a different restaurant that charged $20 for their pepper soup and it BARELY had ANY meat. I basically paid 20.00 plus tax for a bowl of spicy soup juice. A rip off. She seemed to become a bit irritated with me asking the ounces of soup, and even offering to pay extra for more meat. I'm prefer to learn how to make my own. So I KNOW I am getting my moneys worth and not paying 23.00 basically for a bowl of juice, 4 pieces of meat, and some bones. I have a great Nigerian friend who offered to show me. God is good.“

“My child and I had our first official time having egusi. Not only was the egusi and fufu delicious, but she made it VEGAN for us to enjoy! She added in mushrooms and we absolutely loved it. When I tell you…that first bite was to die for….. ?!! My son has never had Nigerian food so I, as a mom, was proud to watch him take on such a meal! I will definitely be returning alongside my kid!Vegetarian options: Vegan egusi upon request“
