When I tell you…that first bite was to die for….. ?!! My son has never had Nigerian food so I, as a mom, was proud to watch him take on such a meal! “My first time visiting Lola's and overall I was satisfied with the pepper soup. It's very hard to find a restaurant that gives your money's worth of meat etc. I ga e only 3 stars for service because I was trying to explain to the nice lady who took my order that there is a different restaurant that charged $20 for their pepper soup and it BARELY had ANY meat. I basically paid 20.00 plus tax for a bowl of spicy soup juice. A rip off. She seemed to become a bit irritated with me asking the ounces of soup, and even offering to pay extra for more meat. I'm prefer to learn how to make my own. So I KNOW I am getting my moneys worth and not paying 23.00 basically for a bowl of juice, 4 pieces of meat, and some bones. I have a great Nigerian friend who offered to show me. God is good.“
